  1. Watched both games while working ?

I had a feeling if familia held it down in the second game we could come back. JD needs to be in the lineup full-time imo.

Two of the top starters (Stroman, Bauer) on the market go to teams below .500 and one of them to a team that has two others that might be moved (Thor, Wheeler).

It's amazing the elimination of waiver trades has had already. Can't wait to see how tomorrow  plays out for the Mets and others

Thor is staying with us. I wonder if any team gets desperate and gives us a good haul for Wheeler.

If it was up to me. We’d keep Wheeler and improve the bullpen next off season and make a run at this thing.

So the dude was a beast as a rookie, and seriously dominant after. I mean, who thought anyone could legitimately make it so obvious to be Defensive Player of the Year over JJ Watt? He really looks like a man playing against boys at times. Yet... he was a complete no show in the Superbowl. Was he injured or Bellichick is really that much of a genius?

He’s been a monster since the day his name was called by Goodell. It’s funny how Rex stated he couldn’t hold Sheldon Richardson’s jock strap.

I hate that hire more ever day.

Serious question here, how good did Aaron Donald look in his rookie season?  How big of an impact did he have?  I honestly don't remember at this point how good he looked coming right out the gate.  In my mind I keep pondering how much of an impact we can realistically expect from Oliver?(I'm also not implying I think he will match Aaron Donald's production in his rookie year although he could be close)

He won DROY and went to the pro-bowl in his rookie season. He had 9 sacks, 48 tackles, and 16 TFL in 2014.

One rumor making the rounds is a three way deal with the Padres getting Thor and the Mets getting Marcus Stroman. This makes no sense to me:

    Thor/Stroman career stats:

    Age: 26/28

    Years of Control Left: 1/2

    ERA: 3.21/3.76

    WHIP: 1.158/1.278

    Games Started: 106/129

    IP: 645/789

None what so ever. Unless, they're trying to make half of the rotation all Long Island boys. With Matz, Kay, and Stroman .

There is rumors floating around that the Jays would take Diaz In a trade then flip him for prospects from the Braves.

A lot of chatter about trading Thor today.

For the life of me I'm not sure why you give up on him with two years of control left. Unless you know something.

Arm issues are one possibility, but Syndegaard was a Brodie client. Maybe Brodie knows that he'll never re-sign with the Mets for whatever reason.

If we gave up on Thor this early, and probably wouldn't get appropriate compensation for that arm. He'd probably turn into Nolan Ryan with our luck

If Josh Allen becomes a star and Rosen is out of the league in 3 years, Schoop and Jeremy White are done.

Both of them will have to move out of the Buffalo area.

I think most of us wouldn’t mind that at all.

Schopp is such a tool bag and White is just an insufferable listen. Honestly, it seems like none of them ever played sports in their lives. I basically only like Sal and will tune into his show on Monday's during the season.

If I had the time and wanted to, I’d call in every day and ask them how they think the culture is within the locker room. I bet both of them would really love that.

I follow twitter, and listen to podcast like the Bills Beat and Locked on Bills for all my info.

I missed your takes...a few other things happened.Font went to Toronto for cash and the suit had a short presser that was worthless.

We ended up giving up a 19 year old prospect that throws 95 mph to the Rays for Font which turned into cash.. It’s such a bad look.

Catalina is 6-foot-6, just turned 19 and has a fastball that hits 95 mph. The #Mets signed him for $150,000 out of the Dominican Republic last year.

The Mets gave up his young potential and intrigue for 15 games from Font.

I thought he was a d bag and his height made me nervous.  But barring a major injury, he looks like he is going to be a star.

I like his persona tbh. I felt as an organization, the bills have lacked some of what we brings. That attitude to back up his ***** talk. He talks the talk and has shown he’s going to be able to walk the walk.

I had visions of him planting a Bills flag in the middle of Gillette stadium ?
