run game got shut down 2nd half, coaches abandoned what we had been doing and lost the flow to the offense.

didnt see this posted..could be interesting.
The Bills have hired Scoot Booker as their nickel coach and senior defensive assistant.
Booker spent the last six seasons working with the Tennessee Titans in multiple roles. He was the safeties coach from 2020-2023 and a defensive assistant from 2018-2019 for the Titans.
Booker helped coach safety Kevin Byard to 20 interceptions and 46 passes defensed during the six seasons he was with Tennessee. Byard also earned first-team All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors during the 2021 season.

There are so many, but given that no one has chosen this one, I will go with Cream's Born under a Bad Sign (originally an Albert King song), which I always have thought aptly describes what it is like to be a Buffalo fan:
"Born Under A Bad Sign"
Born under a bad sign.
I've been down since I began to crawl.
If it wasn't for bad luck,
I wouldn't have no luck at all.
Bad luck and trouble's my only friend,
I've been down ever since I was ten.
Born under a bad sign.
I've been down since I began to crawl.
If it wasn't for bad luck,
I wouldn't have no luck at all.
You know, wine and women is all I crave.
A big bad woman's gonna carry me to my grave.
Born under a bad sign.
I've been down since I began to crawl.
If it wasn't for bad luck,
I wouldn't have no luck at all.
Bad luck and trouble's been my only friend,
I've been down ever since I was ten.
Born under a bad sign.
I've been down since I began to crawl.
If it wasn't for bad luck,
I wouldn't have no luck.
If it wasn't for real bad luck,
I wouldn't have no luck at all.
Born under a bad sign.
Born under a bad sign.must be the charlie brown song

Don't love a lot of Chris Brown's takes but he said something after the loss that resonated with me. It was something like "what if we are in the Michael Jordan era and the Bills are the Knicks". I agree with you, they just find a way to win. THe Bills find a way to win most games but when it has mattered against that team they have not. But when I really look at the last two losses, 13 seconds was a coaching disaster, the players won the game and the coaches lost it. This last one they made one or two plays the Bills did not. Butger does not miss, Bass did. Chris Jones walked Dawkins into Josh, etc. It was that close so even though the Chiefs are a dynasty and all that I cant help but go back to how close these games were/are. No one can convince me the Bills cant beat them.
they can win... but the bills are going to have to figure out how to come up big in big moments better.
its like building a race car...u need the motor...all the right parts in the motor that work together, then the trans at the right
stall speed and the chassis to harness that power and the tires and the air pressure for the track and weather conditions.
then you need the driver and you need all these things to work perfectly together and better than anyone elses on that occasion to win.
the bills need to get better at getting every thing dialed in and working together. for a full game.

I understand they mean something different (playoffs vs regular season). But in terms of play on the field and coming down to the last minute/ play here play there they are in The same zip code not worlds apart.
i think with them being almost a division oppenent as much as we have played them lately, that has helped a lot.
but like i said earlier....the chiefs find a way to keep stepping it up when it matters regardless of how good the other team is
i think if s.f. didnt have players go down during they game they would have won though.

Their coaches are better than ours by alot. They make perfect adjustments and play schemes that McD & Brady could only dream of. I knew they'd target 87 heavy in the 2nd half. Yet Shanahan and his DC were unprepared and kept zone cover 2. At least we can blame having 5 defensive starters out (yes I'm including Von).
The Chiefs have the #1 QB, TE and HC in the league. Their DL and CB's are better than ours. Their RB runs more violently than ours. While their wrs are making plays, ours are dropping balls. No one will ever convince me Pat is better than Josh. But his total support system is worlds better than ours.
I feel like we have a generic game plan maybe targeting one or two things seen on tape. cheifs and couple other teams have very team/player specific game plans.

id put oliver in either very good or lower elite.. actually prefer very good. he gets shut down against good lines. u dont see him doing what donald was doing.

There it is. Yep.
Their offense is not why they won the SB this season.
The story of their season was the defense it was the first words out of Reid’s and Mahomes mouth in postgame.
but...when the O has to step up in a big end of game moment..they get it done.
-
the chiefs are a lot like the patriots dynasty teams. great D, very smart efficient O. 2nd half is like playing a different team due to adjustments.
back in the day when the bills werent great, there were still games where they gave the pats a run for their money.. yet when the pats had to
step up and play a much tougher opponent, they seemed to always find a way to step up one more notch, one more gear.
thats the chiefs right now. Very strong player wise but also very smart and aware of the situation around them. any deficiencies the coaching
finds a way to make up for.
one more thing. chiefs also usually have luck on their side and health.
