This thread is full of complete fiction and speculation. People are clearly reading into things too much and making guesses based on guesses.
So your saying this is a competely normal thread?

Bills coach Sean McDermott: It's 'right time' to start quarterback Josh Allen
Orchard Park, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills are now Josh Allen's football team and coach Sean McDermott said he "doesn't feel the need to elaborate" on why he's decided to bench Nathan Peterman."Josh will start. ... It's the right move for our team," McDermott said. "We talk a lot in house about decisions and things and what we've gotta do, and the right move at the right time. And right now this is the right move."McDermott is pivoting away from Peterman after just one game. The national and local media called the coach's decision to go with Peterman questionable, and the criticism grew after the second-year quarterback stumbled against the Baltimore Ravens.I feel bad for (Peterman) but he's not an NFL quarterback or close," Barnwell said on his podcast, "The Bill Barnwell show." "They are a rebuilding team, but it just seems sadistic to do this to (Peterman) who's not able to do this for a living. It seems like it's going to kill your credibility as a head coach if you keep running Nathan Peterman out there.", I think if I was coach about every Monday or Tuesday I would call Peterman into my office and say you're the starter this week. And then 5 minutes later laugh and say I was just kidding, shut the door on your way out.?

They absolutely should. But they won't. The irony of possibly drafting first overall and passing on a QB because you sold the farm to take the third one off the board the year before..
Having said that, Allen could pan out and be better than any qb in 2019. Then again, it's the Bills.
If we sold the farm for Josh how did we manage to get Edmunds?

Where was V. Davis Sunday? Why was Gaines starting? He was a major liability.
Is this another beane mistake?
and how about that punter with no game experience, didn’t he flub a snap and fumble, typical of someone with no field experience. Another bean head scratcher.
Punter was still better than Schmitt and now he has experience.

Under the guise of pre-season nate was the best and most consistent QB.
I don't blame McDermott for wanting to protect Josh and hope Peterman could move forward in the reqular season to cover for Allen getting caught up.
The problem lies when teams bring heavy pressure against Peterman. He doesn't have the arm or athletic ability to counter that. Add rain and wind on top of that and you can see why Peterman was effectively a disaster Sunday.
If the line can hold a bit and team's play soft coverage Peterman would accel but game tape is going to have DC's bringing pressure as much as possible.

everyone complains about the bills ability to draft/train/produce a good qb..but when was the last time the bills actually drafted/produced a good wr. When was the last time the bills had a star WR that they actually drafted?
-
so if we cant win at being the best and we cant win at being the worst, can we at least get a participation trophy?
-
so according to my inside source whos name i cant reveal, Mcdermott couldnt bear to watch the film again so he just told everyone to write their name on a piece of
paper and stick in a box on his desk... rumor has it vlad and a couple others didnt write their own names down. shocking i know.
i guess Washington was the lucky winner of the Mcdermott draw.

I am hoping the defense is actually better than what we saw and they wore down due to the putrid performance of the offense - ZERO first downs in the first half.
The time of possession was so skewed the entire first half. We gave up some big plays on 3rd down, that can be corrected. We did not get enough pressure on the QB so they kept passing and the WR's always have the edge on the CB's in slick rainy weather.
you wouldn't have known that looking at the bills receivers today

Edmunds is rocking today

...I believe all of Bills Mafia will be holding their collective breaths. I know I will be. Even though I have no confidence in Peterman I also feel somewhat ashamed that I'm fearful of disaster when he takes the field.
If I step back and take a wider view Peterman starting is really a "no lose" situation and I understand why McD made that decision. If Peterman plays well and the Bills are winning it's a fantastic story of redemption and perhaps Peterman becomes a trade chip. If he doesn't play well or is injured, it's far easier for McD to go from Nate to Josh than vice-versa and the Allen Era begins.
I'm going to try and enjoy the ride. Be ready for a huge exhale after that first pass attempt.
Was thinking the same thing earlier today.
Hopefully he can hold the fort and Josh gets caught up quickly

Huge leg apparently. Not sure about ball location tho.
Wouldnt his balls be in the same location regardless of leg size?

I'm for keeping 3 QBs on the 53 roster. AJ looked like a backup , being sacked 5 times by 2nd stringers is not a good sign.
Daboll needs more dump off pass routes with this OL.
Did you see his dump off pass? Daboll probably just said screw it.
