It’s what helps keep the fans engaged.  During the draught it was fantasy.   Now with Buffalo playing all time slots.  Makes the other games more exciting.  Full Sunday slate leading into the Bills game is an absolute treat to watch.  Little fantasy football, little daily fantasy and a little prop or parlay helps build into the Bills game.  That is why stand alone games get so many views compared to everything else.  That little more excitement added to an already exciting sport only helps its viewership.

The books working with leagues makes the ability of players or league employees to make money off it extremely difficult.  Likelihood of a scandal is very low.  Yes, gambling can be an issue for some.  No different than drinking or smoking.

To each his or her own. Myself personally, to me it compromises my likes and dislikes to make a buck.

The possibility of corruption because of the betting has already ruined the game for many fellow Americans in my humble opinion.

I live in Las Vegas.  Believe me,betting is monitored and controlled.  Betting trends are carefully watched and any large or unusual bets are flagged and investigated.

With the money the betting industry generates, many eyes are on every aspect.  It is nieve to think betting is beyond control.

Nieve to think betting is beyond corruption IMO.

That’s well south of us, but one helluva storm just popped up here! Yikes! Power flicked and lost cable.

You may notice that my two sad song contributions have a bit of a theme. That’s about as sad as a parent can get.

    Yikes, stay safe my friend

Umm, it didn’t hit me?   🤷‍♂️

I have no idea about that, I avoid the local news mostly. Nothing good there.

This report says a piece of meteorite went into someone's house (valuable)

Thought I better check in on you ;  )

My son and I were at a small gig (Stone Roses tribute) on Saturday night and during the interval the venue played some music and this song came on. The place erupted singing and dancing to it in a way I sometimes think only working class British folk can. I looked at my 14 year old who was stood up belting the words out like they meant the world to him. Seeing him enjoying life and feeling so comfortable in himself doing so was an amazing moment.

    Like the song,

    Awesome on the moment shared...

This one is the topic, but not (quite) a toothpick.  Almost.

This has nothing to do with what you posted and what I followed up with..

but since you brought it up, Saleh was one of the most clueless NFL HC's since Hue Jackson.  Jets had to let him go as he was drowning in his own incompetence.

    Fair enough

I thought the Jets D played well under Saleh, he's a D guru. Rodgers does his part,

    who knows...
