First real “loss” this year. First time I felt they were beat down and outplayed. From start to finish.

Bengals had better game plan for the weather. Run hard and short swing passes.

Agreed. They came out of the tunnel like their nose was punched and their lunch money was taken. Not sure how you could come into a game like this flat but they sure played with no spirit from start to finish. Really disappointing way to go into the next few months. Ugh.

  2. My family always number one.

Then I’ll say Josh and this team. Last couple of weeks have been less than satisfying but, that said, this is still light years better than the drought. I still go into this next game with real hope, not the manufactured false hope of the drought.

And I can still enjoy having one of the best players in the NFL on my team, not just one of the best punters (although thank you for providing that Mr. Moorman).

Ed O is such a frustrating player. He has had games where he seems to be around the ball or in the backfield all day disrupting the offense. As another poster stated though, he is totally invisible for long stretches. Hard to even tell he’s on the field. I wouldn’t mind seeing him resign but he probably wants a lot of $$. Let someone else pay it. Overall he’s been a major disappointment considering his draft position and lack of development.

I’m not a guy who goes back and watches “film” or isolates on one player that often so I’m definitely not saying this as fact.

That said, besides his injury, I wonder if what we see has to do with offensive game plan/blocking scheme. Maybe he is dominate enough that some games protection and double teams get directed his way and other games not. So some games he disappears but others get freed up, and other games he gets lots of one on ones and appears dominant.

    What?

I liked your post. Was adding that he’s already demonstrated the great and powerful leadership; more than many adults do in their lives. I hope he keeps that attitude and empathy. It’s a powerful thing.

Excellent display of humanity. Well done young man. I hope he grows to become a great and powerful leader of men and women.

I think he already did. I hope he keeps it.
