They're trading Sneed, likely for a 2nd rounder. Would give them four picks in first three rounds, two of which will likely be a WR.

Ya but then they lose a key piece of their defense atleast . Either way it sucks, hopefully they start to draft more CEH type players

There's so many people crapping on McDermott, and yet some posters here are contriving multi-paragraph posts on why we shouldn't be discussing his replacement.

At this moment the following topics on the 1st page of The Stadium Wall are directly or indirectly a referendum on McDermott:

    1. Mike Lombardi claims tension with Sean McDermott forced Leslie Frazier’s departure
    2. What the Bills need to do to take the next step

    3. Your HC choice in SB game

    4. Diggs NOT at mandatory minicamp, McDermott "very concerned" DAY 2 UPDATE: He's back

    5. Is Sean McDermott our version of Doug Collins?

    6. Deep dive ( McDermott )

    7. Gotta give Florio props, he loves to stoke the fire and he’s real good at it.

    8. Colin Cowherd at it again

    9. Is this year make or break for McDermott?

    10. Evaluating Head Coaches Methodology, and Applying it to current coaches.

But we can't discuss who we want to replace him if he were to be fired... right. @ChicagoRic asked the obvious question that everyone's been dancing around. Ridiculous. If you think it's too early to discuss, maybe don't post?

    Ben Johnson (multiple)

    Dave Aranda

    Jim Harbaugh

    Lincoln Riley

    Mike Kafka

    Brian Daboll

    Brian Griese

    Kellen Moore

    Jon Gruden

    Lou Anarumo

These are good answers. Such a simple question... glad you guys played. Only one defensive coach but good justifications for Anarumo.

It sure beats the "it's too early to tell" and "we can't predict the future" and "no one knows who'll emerge from the pack, posts.

And then there's my personal favorite...

Can you imagine this message board if we didn't discuss matters in which we had no control over the outcome??? (before anyone's head explodes... this message board wouldn't exist)

And most of that is stupid bs and drama that has nothing to do with McDermott, just the latest person on the bills to be attacked for no reason.
winningest coach In Bills history, a perennial Super Bowl contender, let’s fire our coach!!!

I know that this is a common theory, but in my opinion it ignores a mountain of evidence.

For example, the Bengals walked down the field and scored a TD, and were carving up chunks of yards again on their second drive before Hamlin went down.

The Dolphins gave us all we could handle the week before, and that was with a 3rd string QB (yes, I know the Dolphins offense did very little, but the game was still very tight). We lost to Zach Wilson and the Jets too.

I think it was more than an aberration.

You could do that with every team though. The bengals were a lucky fumble away from losing to Huntley and the ravens. The chiefs almost lost games to the titans with a qb who can’t even throw the ball and also the Texans.

Beane said it - the Bills started talking about Special Teams in Round 3.

Williams he was talking about Special Teams.

    Shorter was Special Teams.

It felt like to me, after Torrence, the Bills just mentally exited the draft and took players with no chance to get on the field.

No DTs - yes I know Beane said the board didn’t fall their way. The Baylor

    DT went right after Williams…

No DEs, No OTs (passed on Dewand Jones, Duncan), No Centers.

Just a miniature linebacker, a special teams Kumerow replacement, a backup Guard and long shot corner.

So basically they didn’t take guys you wanted or got in your mock draft simulations so their draft sucked

    It doesn't work that way.

There isn't necessarily a correlation between draft order and draft quality.

The top teams in the draft year after year often remain terrible--look at the Buffalo Sabres.

And they are picking at the top.

27th for the Bills is NOT a good score but the drafting has been pretty terrible under this regime.

It has? Multiple starters every year, have you seen other teams drafts?

Oh really?   What would that contract look like to you?

If Barkley were cut today.........he would clear waivers and become a free agent because of that $7M+ guaranteed contract.

    He has ZERO trade value.

The only way he gets traded is if the Giants eat all but the league minimum portion of his contract.

Any new deal he gets from another team will START with $7M in guarantees.

The Bills are a bit tight for cap space...........they would likely have to spread a deal with him over 3 years or more to get him in for a $2M type cap hit..........which begs the question "why would Barkley accept two cheap years added to his contract?".

    He would not.

His goal is to collect his $7M...........have a big year.........and hit free agency.

Trading him doesn't make sense for either the Giants or Barkley at this point..........they might as well roll with him.

Doubt he would clear waivers, some team would take on a 7m cap hit for one year and hope he could stay healthy

I posted yesterday, but the mighty Belichick basically did the same in the 2018 AFCCG.  KC had more time - 38 seconds - but only 1 timeout, and they went from their own 31 to New England's 20 in 18 seconds.  2 passes, just like against us.

And BB didn't squib it, either.

13 seconds is like a minute+ for KC.  And it would have been for Allen if the situation was reversed.  It was terrible, but not that crazy.

They kicked it to the five and the return took 7 seconds. the next play, a pass to the rb because they actually covered people went for 21 yards and took 9 seconds and kc used their timeout.
