There were plenty of takers. Have you not seen the trades?
Mostly late round swaps for the 5s. I didn't see many 5s pushing people way up the board in the first two rounds.

Dang man, I'm watching Ray's highlights. His hips are so sudden, then fluid. He plays fast, is hard to tackle and has great hands! I think he us going to be great in our offense. We have a fast stepping little tank of a RB!!

So we have all these picks that were supposedly ammo to move up and what do we do? Trade them for even more late picks. This makes zero sense in a draft with a lot of top 100 prospects but huge drop off late. At least 10 draft able wr or more and we end up with only Coleman. Sorry but this draft sucks. No way around it. We could look back in 3 years and not have a single starter.
Need a taker bud.

Love the Georgia Center! Very responsible draft pick. Not exciting but a year or two to get ready. If you are a near-elite 3 year starting center at Georgia, not too bad!!

Nice pick! Bruiser with soft hands. He caught 7 td passes last year.

He reminds me of Brandon Marshall or Keyshawn Johnson.

I think Kevon looks fast on tape and creates nice separation. Also, his body is fluid and smooth, especially for such a big guy. Also has great hands. Sick athlete. Pretty great pick!

Wondering what your dream job with the Bills would be?
Getting to be in the draft room building the best team possible?
Using your knowledge of X’s and O’s to coach?
Or getting to be on the field as a player?
Depends....do I have the same dimensions and age of said player? If so, sign me up!!

Kind of crazy how some of us old coots ( poster name play intended 😀) on this board remember a player & name vividly like this guy from 45+ years ago like it was only a few years ago.
Angel Gabriel now 😔
Yeah! I remember him back when I was a little kid. 83. Crazy. RIP.

I’ve often thought this was gravely misunderstood. You’re not supposed to take/use the Lord’s name in vain. It doesn’t say that you cannot say his name. So you are not supposed to use the Lord to swear/promise/threaten anyone, as if you have some authority over what God does or doesn’t do. Nor are you to tempt the Lord to do anything. It’s perfectly fine however to say his name in worship and adoration.
Would being named "God" possibley be considered a little vain or no?

For those who don't want to pay the totally-worth-it $1.99 per month to subscribe to the Athletic (can you even get a pack of gum for that any more?), here's Joe Buscaglia's latest 7 round Bills mock draft. I gotta say, if this happened, I might cry tears of joy.

TRADE!
Tennessee Titans trade Nos. 7, 182 to Bills for Nos. 28, 60, 133 and 2025 1st
The pick at No. 7: Bills – Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
I continue to believe that anything, including a move like this one on draft day, is a real possibility for the Bills. Beane has long been an aggressive draft-day trader when he’s excited about a prospect and how he’d fit their system. Now, with a gaping hole for a top target at wide receiver and where the Bills are in their build, this is the type of move Beane could rationalize as one that puts them over the top for the foreseeable future.
The cost of doing business might be high for some, which is understandable. I’m sure it will evoke memories of the Bills’ move up the board to take Sammy Watkins in 2014. But this is an entirely different situation from 2014 — almost comically so. Back then, it was the desperate move of a franchise hoping Watkins would help EJ Manuel become the franchise quarterback while blatantly ignoring several warning signs he was not that player. Now, there’s nothing for their quarterback to prove. The Bills have one of the best quarterbacks in the league in Josh Allen, a still-talented roster around him, and a pretty good idea that they’ll be pushing for the playoffs at the very least in 2024.
By arming him with a young receiver with elite potential on a rookie deal for the next four years, it gives the Bills a lot of flexibility for how they spend through the duration of the receiver’s rookie deal. I’d liken this move more to the one the Atlanta Falcons made in 2011 to fly up the board and select Julio Jones, already with a top quarterback in Matt Ryan in place. They certainly didn’t regret that trade for a second. The recent trade of Diggs, and acquiring the Vikings’ 2025 2nd from the Texans, could empower Beane to make a stark move up the board like this one, too. With an extremely unsettled quarterback room — either starting journeyman backup Sam Darnold or a rookie — that pick has a good chance of turning into an early second-round selection. If that does happen, the Bills could easily get themselves back at the end of the first round next year, or just view their early second-round pick as their first-round pick replacement for dealing it away to get a potential game-changing receiver. For the right player, Beane will move a first-round pick.
Is Nabers worth this type of move? In a more standard draft year, Nabers would easily be the best receiver prospect by a wide margin and likely one of the first players selected. He is outrageously talented and smooth, with the explosiveness to win however the Bills ask him to. The separation is effortless whether he’s at X, Z or slot and he gets the defender to bite at his breakdown constantly. He can win with physicality or speed and will eat cushion from off-defenders alive. Nabers has excellent, crisp footwork, and his contested catch concentration is simply outstanding. On top of it all, he can be a monster with yards after the catch, either using physicality to drag defenders or his 4.35 speed to blow up a play.
Nabers has all the potential to be a star in the NFL, and with one of the league’s best quarterbacks in Allen, it increases that likelihood by a large margin. Nabers is worth the hype. But would he make everyone forget about the price tag? It certainly looks like he has all the potential to do so. And with the Bills looking like they’ll have cap space to work with in 2025, it could be the catalyst to another push toward the top of the AFC.
Rest of draft:
I like this kid alot. He can rip and make stuff happen with the ball in his hands.

Nice depth signing. You would like knowing he is there as a back up if needed.

I think Nabers is the #1 reciever. He's way more explosive than MHJ.

Diggs isn't going anywhere, nor do we want him to. When we saw so many other guys running open in the second half of last year, Diggs was getting doubled and watched by the safety. He was creating opportunity for other guys by working hard.
Yep. He had a couple of big drops. I'd bet you, that changes this year.
Look, we all know 14 plays to his own tune in life, and though it may seem awkward to some people, so far all he is proven here is that when he is ready to talk, he does...straight, on point, and ready to go. Diggs is allowed a down year and I think he's got plenty left in the tank. He does need a good threat opposite him who can also stretch the field and get loose.
I think there is good reason to really like Buffalo's pass catchers. With Curtis taking Gabes spot (for now) and Shakir looking to be a hell of a slot, especially at the end of the year and more so as the coaches and Josh trusted him.
Same trust seemed true of Kincaid. Even though he had his time cut into a little in the middle of the season as Knox came back and you could tell he was disappointed, but by the end of the year, there was little doubt who the Bills main TE was in big moments.
Who knows what the draft brings?
Either way, I think the overall receiving corp is already better than it was last year. Also some guys who were in wrong seat on the bus are gone. Coaches and players. Good offseason so far, credit to the FO for making hard decisions decisively.

That is....SO MUCH F'N money for a 30 year-old-receiver.
My goodness.
Ridley is a good player, and he was a few freaky TD drops away from having had very good statistical season last year in a middling Jaguars offense.
But...yikes. In a year this loaded with WR talent in the draft? To pay THAT kind of money for a WR?!
Yowwwwza. No doubt. Like our Von Miller effect. We need X, go over-spend on an older guy. Pray he is elite for 3-4 years into this mid thirties.

Are any of these guys better than Rapp? Honest question as I don't know much about many of the names. Most seem old and on their final legs
Have to figure there are a few that would have been just as good and maybe cheaper. But Rapp knows the system now.
I'd add another cheap veteran age 25-28 and draft another.
Poyer knows it pretty well...

Fair deal, he is a starter imo.

Geez, he's barely out of his teens. I thought he comported himself very well. Shame on him for having some personality when discussing how to shop smart. God forbid our new WR was raised to be frugal and cannot help but be an excited, funny kid.
