My take on the whole draft position is
1. I can NEVER root for a Bills loss
2. The season will play out the way it's supposed to and we have no control as fans so sit back and enjoy watching your team play (and hopefully win)
3. Though picking earlier in the draft may give you a better chance at landing a better prospect, playing good and winning on Sundays gives you a better chance at bringing in free agents (who actually have stats in the NFL instead of an unknown rookie)
4. If somehow we draft top 5, I'm all for trading down and stockpiling picks but if we draft closer to 10, I say just sit tight and draft your guy.

I don't care about any other team except the Bills. Crossman and Castillo gotta go...
McDermott deserves another year at least.
Daboll needs another year for a couple reasons:
1. Don't want Allen learning a whole new system
2. See what Daboll can draw up with better talent on offense
Frazier stays for sure (I just wish he would draw up some more blitz packages)
So HC, OC and DC are safe... Positional coaches can be replaced...

Kelvin Benjamin 2.0. I am over these type of players they never pan out.
That's disrespectful to the young kid. If he sprinted he would put more effort than KB. Bad assessment.

Editing sucked... Would of been nice to see if he said anything valuable during bad plays or would he just continue to clap clap...

What's our current draft position after the loss yesterday and the games played by other teams? Anybody know? Thanks

I hope we beat the crap out of Jacksonville every time we play them. I hate Jacksonville as much as I hate the Jets. (Patriots by far the most hated team)
Said something almost exactly to a buddy of mine yesterday during the game...

So, to the post you’re quoting, Dawkins, Teller and Groy stay, all the rest can hit the road following the season. 2 more starter positions and quality depth is much better than I hoped for. If Dabol and his OL Coach stay on, they need to be in the Draft Room and in every FA visit. 10 Picks & $100M should cure what ails us, to say nothing of a game breaking WR and stud DE.
No... I'm not as confident in Groy as I am in Teller and Dawkins... I personally would love to draft or sign a LT who ends up giving Dawkins competition because I would rather see Dawkins on the right side.
As far as Groy, Dawkins and Teller staying and the rest of the bunch hitting the road? Ummmm sure but that's a bit too excessive.

Lineman do not progress like run of the mill players
They can and do seemingly regress , for no reason., after 2 starts it definitely is a bit of a stretch to think we found our LG for 10 years
i like teller a lot but John Miller was most improved lineman his second year in the league and never fully turned the corner
You're just going through PTSD... If you take a breath and relax and watch Teller closely, you'll feel more comfortable.

If he can hold down the LG position then that’s one less need we have to address.
After seeing his two starts, it would be a stretch to think he can't "hold down" the LG position. It's nothing less than a guarantee. Only injury can make him play worse than Ducasee and even THEN I'm not so sure.

To those who think we have a need at RB just simply can't analyze the talent we already have. Shady is still elusive. Murphy runs hard and fast (just needs to study more on blocking) and Ivory runs hard...
To spend a 1st round draft pick on a RB will be a waste imo. We need to address offensive line, WR and TE in the 1st. I understand CB may be a need just as much, but our #1 overall defense would have something to say about that.
No matter who we draft at the end of the day, none of it matters unless Allen develops and shows progress which is why I'm excited to watch our 3-7 Bills go against the Jaguars to see if Allen sitting and "learning" from the sidelines helped at all.
I'm not opposed to drafting QB in the 1st if Allen doesn't show progress. I can withstand another losing season next year long as we are comfortable in THAT position.

Not sure about coach of the year, maybe a cheerleading award for McClappy.

I feel very comfortable on the left side of our line... We have the draft and free agency to see if we can get the C position and the right side better.
The only concern I have with draft picks with McDermott is,unless they are drafted high, he doesn't play them right away.
If we can sign or draft a LT, I know for sure Dawkins can play RT so we have many ways to go about it. But it's obvious (with our #1 overall defense) that our needs are on offense and I hope Beane and his scouts are doing their homework.

The saga continues. Loving this game

GG Foster... G freakin G

McD stop playing conservative on offense u bum...
Telling the "employees" to slow down and take it easy on their job is not anything a manager says

That jets fan sleeping. Priceless

So Happy for McCoy... love that guy so much
-
Ok we now have a solid LT and LG... now need 3 more linemen and we're good to go
If we can draft a LT early in the 1st, Dawkins can play RT just as well if not better than he does at LT

Meeeeeee lanoooooo

I hope McDermott doesn't take his foot off the gas pedal... score 70 if u have to McD...

Bills fall from 6th to 10th in Draft Order

I disagree with your disagreement. I never once said free agency was the "better" way to build. Free agents look for 1 of 2 things when looking to sign to a new team.
1. Are they a winning football team/Do I see myself fitting in that organization?
2. Money.
We have the money, but for a player to go with the first option,we would need to win and win good. We still have our draft picks no matter where we pick. Just need to "hit" on those picks.
Also, picking #6 overall and picking #10 overall doesn't guarantee your pick will pan out no matter WHERE you picked.
As I said before (and this is just my personal preference), if we somehow pick in the top 5, I would like to trade down and stockpile picks since top 5 usually brings in A LOT of draft picks in return. But if we pick closer to 10, I'd rather stay put and choose our guy.
