I feel like Doug Moron was so incredibly awful and took great care to insert his awfulness into the OL, we have to just wait and see. Whalley has definitely made investments in the line through the draft. Maybe his picks sucked or maybe Moron is a horrific OL coach. As many have pointed out, a lot of these same players were playing quite well a few years ago. I happen to think some of that was Chan's scheme, but not all of it. It is regrettable though. Someone made the point that the OL and QB (our biggest weaknesses) are the most important things to have and I agree. Aaron Rogers and a strong OL would be able to take any random sampling of NFL caliber players at all of the other positions to the playoffs every year.

I will admit my wording was not terribly artful there. But lets face it, the guy can't hit a moving target. I remember Sammy Watkins getting lit up even after catching some of those ducks because EJ was throwing him into dangerous situations. Cool. I love that stuff. I've got plenty of tin foil hat in me. All of it 100% true of course...

You don't need the best LBs in the world when your DL looks like ours does. I think we have good LBs, but to call the position "deep" is a big stretch IMO.

I never believed there was a correlation between the black-outs and stadium attendance. You're either hard-core enough to go to these games in November/December or you're not IMO. Winning and/or exciting additions to the team are what puts butts in seats. Of course i can't prove this but it is my feeling on the matter. If i were to counter my own point, however, i do admit that i don't go if the team is bad. But i live in Albany and the 4 hour drive is pretty hard to stomach on a Sunday if the team sucks. If i lived in B-lo... oh yes i'd be there every damn week no matter how bad we were.

yeah totally real. And yes, he is quite bright and does provide excellent football analysis. At minimum, his points are always well thought out. But, aside from being as astute as the next guy, he's also F'n crazy! Sadly... Before he somehow managed to buy the site or get super mod powers, he use to be just a complete dick about how he was always right and everyone else must bow down to his knowledge. The kind of attitude that ruins all of his admitedly well thought out points because you know the guy making those points is a douche. That forum use to be quite lassez faire. You could pretty much type whatever you wanted without fear of reprocussion. Even personal attacks were somewhat permitted which is sort of why i liked it after wasting my time on the official buffalobills.com forum (PC police alert!!!). Once he got control, it was just dreadful. He banned people left and right and pretty much all of the solid contributors left. But they all came back from time to time just to check in. No one knew Micro was him. It looked like we had a new owner that genuinely wanted to fix the site. But in reality he was merely stockpiling various accounts and posting devil's advocate stuff. Like literally having conversations with himself. Maybe to generate interest on the board he destroyed and now owned. Maybe because he was crazy. Most likely a combination of both. Either way. You dont want him here. At all.

HA! On this i must admit that i saw the alleged "wisdom" in starting Johnson. I was at the week 17 match up with the Colts that year. It was an abnormally warm day. We kicked their buts. My memory may be bad, but i feel like Johnson started and killed it. At the time, I felt like Flutie's limitations were killing us towards the end of that year. Lots of batted balls, the guy basically couldn't complete a pass without an open passing lane to throw through. But Johnson was a train wreck obviously. Flutie was a winner and we should have stuck with him. The OL wasn't very good either way. The freak was quite freakish in the music city miracle game.

I don't think EJ will ever have it. The dude has everything you'd ever want; charisma, size, strength, athleticism, intelligence but he lacks the two most critical things for a QB. Bad accuracy, does not appear to be seeing the field. You can be smart and still not be able to read the field when the live bullets are flying. That's EJs problem IMO. Add that he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. It's death. You can't fix that crap. I like him. But i don't think he's ever going to be the guy. My favorite quote about Kate Upton ever was from a caller on the michael smirconish show on Sirius Radio station POTUS. They were talking about whether people are born gay, or make a choice to be gay or something like that and the caller called in and said that, in his opinion, there is a cure for gayness and that cure is Kate Upton. I actually did laugh out loud. Soo hot. If that's fat, then i love fat chicks. yeah use to be. He's got so little going on in real life that i'm sure he's constantly trying to get on this and every other Bills site. Be vigilant. If i see a familiar alter-ego name of his i'll be sure to let you know. I'm pissed off about what he did to that website. Like seriously irate. Ten years of posting there.... wasted. And sadly there are still some really great posters that lurk on that forum. But they hey-day when actual buffalo media types regularly contributed is long, long gone. Thanks man.

Use to be. Then he revealed himself to be LiterateStylish. The AH that destroyed the site years ago. He has multiple personality disorder and i believe has like 10 accounts on that site. The maniac sits there and has, literally, entire threads with himself. He use to be a know it all and a bully. Then he was banned, the site went to hell in a hand basket, everyone left. He came back as Microscopes and it appeared that he was saving the site, but then he revealed who he really was. Anyway, really dumb stuff. I can imagine people liek this sitting in mommy's basement in their underwear with like 5 computer screens in front of them. I had been with that site so long i just figured it would eventually be fixed. but it won't. So it was a waste of my time.

He hasn't been the same since Levitre left. And neither has the entire OL. It's curious because Levitre didn't exactly play well when he left either. The thing about football is it's all synergy. A combination of players may be amazing in a given scheme and with other specirifc players around them, but you take any one from that group and separate them from it and you don't get the same result.

Yeah i definitely wrote a goodbye post. and it was definitely titled "goodbye" Sounds like you know the website. There have been a lot of melt-downs on that once great website of late. For me, it was just dissapointing to see it reduced to ashes after being such a great place to talk Bills. This is all quite interesting to me because i actually kept the same name-sake thinking that people would recognize me and want me here. I understand this is where most of the prior members went after the place got crappy. Looking forward to any PMs that might help explain what the issue was but otherwise, let the thing die here and now IMO.

Hi, long time poster on the !@#$.com website. After 10 years contributing there and over 10,000 posts, I regret to say that the place has become little more than an on-line insane asylum. The owner is a raving lunatic with multiple personality disorder and 90% of the content revolves around ridiculous conspiracy theories about which poster has a dual identity. It use to be an amazing place to discuss the Bills, now it's a complete waste of any serious person's time. Anyway, really happy to be here. I see you guys have some serious security as my application to join wasn't approved until weeks after i submitted it. That's a good thing. Go Bills!
