  1. You are incorrect Conner.

I will wait a minute while the shockwave of amazement goes thru PPP............lol

Not one of the (so far) 24 individualized house funding bills have been brought up for a vote in the sena

Harry Reid has blocked any votes.. . . . .

including the FEMA Funding and the NIH Child Cancer Funding trials.

    They vote on the amendments..

Why won't the House vote on this? - http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=113&session=1&vote=00209

Just hold a vote is all.

  2. The only reason this game was close was because of Mike Pettine. He is a brilliant D-Coordinator. Impeccable scheme.

Hackett was awful today. Predictable, conservative, not taking advantage of matchups and adapting that Jackson should have been focused after the 1st quarter.

Questionable headcoaching. We perhaps witnessed the worse challange in recent years. Taking into account the recent inepness, of Mularkey, Juaron, Williams. Even more clueless about time managment in the 4th quarter than these guys.

Unfortunetly I think Pettine will be poached from the Bills after this year or next.

2 games later and this post is still how I feel about things. I'm just about ready to give up on Hackett.

  3. typical. what else should we expect? that's how it goes when you get a guy who has no problems cheating..

I agree this seems like something Belechick would do. Pick up a player from his week one opponent to learn their scheme without having to rely on preseason film.

But has he done this often before? I remember Fast Freddy Smith he also claimed off waivers when we played them week one. Are there other examples of this that anyone can name?

  4. I love that the best two players on our defense both have plantar fasciitis.

    That's good right?

Is anyone else hear thinking that Byrd is being a baby?

Didnt get what he wanted so he fakes injury and makes sure he doesn't get injured all while collecting his $432k a game.

Personally I think he's full of it and now I'm no longer happy he signed. I'd rather just cut this pos.

Uhm.... the Bills do have a medical staff and they can take x-rays and MRI's and such.

  5. There is no secret why he didn't get drafted at all. He is a "habitual smoker" who doesn't have the maturity to behave responsibly. What happens when as a pro he has more money in his pockets and he has more idle time? Is he more or less likely to get back into his habits?

That's a fairly ignorant statement. Dude has not touched weed since he got kicked off the Vols. He's passed several drug tests since then and done everything that's been asked of him. Not to mention that stellar athletes such as Micheal Phelps have also smoked.

  6. Is it funny that the self described "intellectuals" of China are pushing for Democracy while their counterparts in the US are pushing for a more Socialist Government like China's?

When you make up lies about "the other side", it's easy to hate them. You should try commenting on things that Democrats actually believe.

  7. EJ made a living off of terrible ACC defenses. He hit a brick wall when he had to play a top defense. That game was huge for FSU and he failed despite playing at home and having a ton of offensive talent. That's EJ though, he's good enough to fit in but he will never win a game by himself.

Do you have any other games to list as example beside the Florida game? That one game seems to be he only really bad game. Which is the point of this thread. One game does not mean "He hit a brick wall when he had to play a top defense"

  8. Outside of EJ, I am most excited about the pickup of Da'Rick. Watched some video and highlights on him today, he's a really really good WR. Possibly better than Stevie in a year or two. No idea why he fell out of the draft, but then again I'm not the type to judge anyone for smoking some weed.

  9. The Eagles, ABSOLUTELY, and possibly the Raiders and Jags, had the same interest in Manuel that we did. They were too close to the late 20s, where the Bills would have traded down...and definitely too close to SF = they traded up to 18 to get the safety. If NOLA doesn't take vaccaro at 15, then we might have traded down to them.

If what you are saying is true, between EJ and the Jets/Tavon Austin move --- the Bills just dominated this draft.
