  1. Fans are so reactionary. This time last week everyone wanted to tie him up long term. This week he's hot garbage. Is it possible that he brings a lot to the table but also has some liabilities that may or may not prove to be a fatal flaw?

If the defense and running game continue to perform like they did in Monday we'll win a lot of games with a QB who can burn you deep, take off and run, and doesn't turn the ball over.

I see no reason not to bring in legit competition and continue to try to upgrade the position until he proves himself to be the long-term answer, but I don't want to bench him for the next Rob Johnson either. I say it's his job until someone takes it from him.

    This is excellent.

  2.

    Rob Johnson did too.

Rodgers did too! I guess just bc he sat for four years is not reason enough to beleive he is forever a QB to come off the bench. Hes not a rookie, but this is his first year starting since VTech. Its his second game back after sitting. I will make excuses bc the constant turnover at QB is hurting more than a bad QB is. We are 10 games in. TT is our QB this year. Thats it.

Sorry gugny i meant nothin by it haha we are all special.

  3. becore questioning my "fandomness" why don't you search out a few of my posts and your questions will be answered. At this point you are Imo coming across as a complete ass.

I am glad you said complete ass! I would hate to half ass it like old rex and the rest of the tirefire buffalo team.

Read old posts? Come on... I dont care that much about your opinion to do research on a tbd poster. Keep bashing away. I wont interfere. Standing up for players or coaches is frowned upon here.

  4. Those same problems plagued Rex in NJ so I don't expect them to improve unless he hires someone to manage the game day situations he's bad at, kind of a bench coach to borrow a baseball term.

Read the thread from when he was hired, you'll see a few who pointed out the flaws ahead of time.

What's your suggestion for a "fan" like me? Am I to just sit back and smile like an imbecile because that's how I view you.

Im not saying support blindly, but the parade of "this guy sucks, that guy sucks, fire him" - we would not have a player or coach left. Who are you a fan of on this team?

Who was a better option than Rex? They all have flaws.

  5. How about a punt catcher?

Unneccesary. Why bother to save 5-15 yards? It could bounce in our favor!

Unneccesary. Why bother to save 5-15 yards? It could bounce in our favor!

    How about this...

Keep a PR man back there as a decoy so they dont think its an all out block attempt. The guys on the wings covering the gunners are no longer needed and can also be used as punt blockers - i could see Woods filling this role nicely.

  6. A 15 yard sideline interference penalty.

Poor communication between the sidelines and the field.

A timeout prior to a first down play.

    A non-timeout prior to a pats*** touchdown.

(I assume that the inadvertent whistle wasn't open to review because it was a judgement call?)

    What am I missing?

    That's one game folks.

I see you pointing out a problem, but where is your solution? Whats the right answer? Or is that what you do, just point out flaws of a team youre a "fan" of...

    3. I love McKelvin's heart, but I learned he should never return another punt again. It's been said enough times already. Problem is, I don't know who should. Definitely not Moore. Maybe Woods?

This team does not have a player capable of being an effective punt returner. FINE. Do not try to return them then. Add a man on the line and go balls out for the block. I love it. The risk and reward to fielding/returning punts is horrendous unless you have a guy like sproles, or hester back there. I would even give spiller a chance back there if we still had him. Leodis doesnt have the hands or the moves... if he did, he'd be a receiver.

  8. No slants, no screens, no-end arounds for Sammy. Not one. How do you not design plays to get the ball to Sammy? Also, where was Clay. Not one seam pass down the middle last night. Not one. Terrible game plan by Roman. The All-22 will once again show that Sammy was open lots. Also, thank you for not taking this on to the 900-page Sammy thread.

I loved how gruden kept calling clay our no.1 passing option... wut?

  9. Given our personnel and where we are in the competition cycle (basically, "win now before age and the cap catch up with us"), and given who'll be available in the draft, it's more like take your pick of the available veterans other teams are giving up on: RG3, maybe Kap, Bradford and/or Foles, Cutler, Peyton Manning (!), try to grab Osweiler away from the Broncs (I think they'll sign him and he'll take over next year), Weeden, a McCown or two, you get the picture ... really, that's where we're at again. Same. Old. Story.

Honestly, I prefer TT and EJ over all those options.

  10. He did not have a great game. But I don't like making judgments on QBs this soon into in their tenure on a new team with a new offensive scheme. There have been a few times that TT made a play and I was lost for words it was so good. He provides a spark, there is no denying that. Let the kid grow into a bit. Hopefully we keep rex and roman and the bulk of the offense to have some continuity - if TT doesn't show growth after taking out the variables, then I will have no problem saying its time. But its been 10 games... not enough time - It wasn't enough time for EJ either IMO, but I digress.
