We won't have them where we want them until it's our first round bye and we either watch them miss the playoffs or play in the WC round. After last nights performance it has become obvious Brasy is clearly in decline.
They will rule the division no more than three more years. The Bills have them right where they want them!
Right now, they're where they have been for years. Nothing's changed yet.

My roommate was joking around and saying things like 'go dolphins, squish the bills' all day and into the game, and he's not a football fan, just trying to rile me up, but i have not spoken a word and will not for quite some timeI was able to let go well over 15 years ago. My mood was a direct reflection of the Bills game that Sunday. When they lost, I wouldn't speak to people, I refused to turn to ESPN, watch any NFL highlight shows, the works. I remember once hanging up on a girl I was dating back in 2003 because she couldn't understand how I could let a football team ruin my mood. I didn't speak to my college roommate in 99 for two weeks because he laughed during the Music City Miracle kick return.
I've become numb to Bills losses now. I at times even am able to find humor in some losses, when Buffalo finds a whole new amazing way to lose a game.
Today was no different. I'm just kinda numb. A little ticked at the suspect officiating(whoever it was in the gameday thread who said Walt Coleman hates the Bills might really be on to something), but just still overall numb and non-chalant.
No playoffs 15 years now....

Lol I hope Whitner was in coverageCommentators in the Browns game are lambasting the Bills for letting Whitner go. Never hated Whitner, who I thought he was ok, but letting him go wasn't a disaster move.
Glennon to Evans. TD.

Which section was this, I had the same.We had a ton of Patriots' fans in our section. I talked to a bunch of them and they were all from Canada. Mostly Toronto area. They were pretty well behaved though. Cheered for their team but nothing ridiculous or unsportsmanlike.

Sammy was open plenty. From the stands it was maddening that Orton didn't have enough time to hit him. Or awarenessGood post.
The Bills' running game was ineffective. Period. The main problem there isn't the running backs. It's the offensive line.
Speaking of the offensive line, I expected the interior to play poorly; so I wasn't that surprised by what I saw. I was surprised by Glenn getting owned on the strip/sack. I also get the impression that Henderson is too large/immobile to handle speed rushers. (At least that's what he looked like today.) Even a good player is allowed to have an occasional bad day, so I'm willing to give Glenn a mulligan. But other than him and possibly Wood, I can't think of any long-term answers on that line. The lack of a good line has mostly snuffed out the running game, and is greatly impeding the passing attack.
It was hard to tell from my television screen, but the announcers said that Watkins was well-covered by Revis pretty much the whole game. That makes me miss a WR we used to have who could get open against Revis. (And who was traded for a fourth round pick.) Other than Chandler, it doesn't seem like the Bills' receiving threats did a good job of getting open.
But as bad as all that was, our real problems were on defense. To its credit, the defense played well in the second half. During the first half, the Bills were 0-3 in the turnover battle. Being down by 13-7 at the end of the half is not bad at all, considering that turnover margin. I felt that if they played like that in the second half--except without the turnovers--they had an excellent chance of winning. Instead, the Patriots scored on every drive of the second half. The closest thing the defense had to a second half success was holding the Patriots to a FG. But there was only one second half Patriots drive like that. All the other drives were touchdowns. The Bills very obviously don't have the defense I thought they had.
With no second half defense whatever, and no running game, the only thing we had going for us was the passing attack. That passing attack isn't going to be enough to carry the team.

I watched Sammy all day, and he was open more than a few times.

We're missing your GDTs over at sabrespace....I'm watching the Sabres on the Big Screen and I'll have the TNF game up on my PC once it starts.

A catch there wouldn't have even been a first down anyway...3rd and 11 in the red zone, throw it into the endzone!!!
