  1. ...right after the Bills' Week 14 tilt against the Steelers I wrote a 3-page letter to the Pegulas that, in a nutshell, requested three things:

1 - get rid of Rex

2 - keep Brandon away from football operations

3 - plug the leaks at OBD

Far be it for me to suggest that a letter from a 27-year ST holder influenced what has transpired since, but I feel pretty good about it. Rex is gone, Brandon has been conspicuously absent (and silent), and the recent Dennison hire that caught absolutely everyone off guard is evidence of #3.

So, folks, if there's anything else you need from your owners just let me know. ;)

Did you email? What was the email address you sent it to, or the postal address if you wrote by hand?

  2. Hmm I'm in NH and seems most are taking the game as a "it doesn't really matter" it's the last game without Brady and win or lose they are still alone in first place. I think the attention would be different had they lost one of the first three games. (Just My Opinion of course)

    Makes sense.

Ignore any crazies you might find over here, I like reading your input, thanks for coming by.

  3. I don't know how we keep getting this crew year after year. It is so painful to listen to these guys. They both butcher the English language and are clueless. How many times did they call a completed pass incomplete and vise versa? In the 1st quarter when the Ravens were faking going for it on 4th down they said well they have good field position to try it ( They were on there own 38 yard line !!! ) Dumb and Dumber.

It's not that he calls them incomplete; he says "and-complete!" Like it's one word. It certainly sounds like "incomplete" and is very annoying.
  4.

Here's the thing about Sammy, all anyone in Buffalo was talking about last season was similar to what they said about Spiller for years and immediately after they drafted him.

All that mattered was getting Watkins the ball and magic would happen with the "ball in his hands."

Well, it didn't quite work out that way. He was targeted signficantly more than any other player on this team from a receiving standpoint, and magic hardly happened. He was absurdly inconsistent too. He's good but once again they've hyped him up into a shoes that he almost can't possibly fill. Evans, Benjamin, Matthews, and Landry all had QBs no better than Watkins had but all performed equally or better than Watkins.

More fans will catch on this season, but Watkins will be good, not great though. Nevertheless, the picks are gone, he's here, so we'll make the best of it. But that along with the glaring reach for Manuel should haunt Whaley's career. The current decision-making does not smack of Whaley-esque decisions. It's far more sound and reasonable ones that are likely being made by someone else.

Having said all of that, we won't know to what extent our WRs are adequate until we get competent QB play. Frankly, a great TE would do more good for the offense in general. I love whoever's mock draft had us taking Clive Walford from The U. I'd take him in round 2 in a heartbeat.
