The thing is that you can apply any of these statements to any of the QBs you want and pretend that they're describing your guy. All of the QBs in this draft are capable of dropping back and throwing; and saying that the ability to do so is important is something that literally every coach, scout, and fan would agree with.

Not really, some have done it their whole college career, and some literally never did it more than a couple times, and it showed with their combine footwork. If he's telling the truth then you could definitely eliminate some names from contention.

this is not an argument that the QBs who haven't can't be good, btw.

Passing on two first-rounders could get you exactly this... -In '18, this team is a GREAT position draftwise... I honestly don't see tons of difference between the

2nd tier QB's and the 1sts in this draft... KEEP THE DAMN PICKS...-Fill needs with young talent, instead of waiting for free agency every year.

You might not see the difference but it's there. Allen, Jackson, Rudolph etc are trash and we have as good a chance as any other year of getting a franchise qb up top. Continuing to do what you say will go a long way towards guaranteeing mediocrity until we suck so bad we dont have to trade up, which didn't happen ONCE during our !@#$ing century long playoff drought.

!@#$ that plan. !@#$ that thinking. Get your franchise qb.

    2018 1st Rd (#12 overall)
    2018 1st Rd (#22 overall)
    2018 2nd Rd (#53 overall)
    2018 3rd Rd (#65)
    2019 2nd Rd

It absolutely can! -Forget about the fact that you have no idea what kind of talent you're giving up this draft, (and next)

You may move up to draft something worse than a bad QB... -A mediocre QB... The kind of QB that can't get it done, but shows just enough year after year to

keep bringing him back.  Before you know it, three years are down the drain... The regime that made that mistake is now gone, now another half-assed regime

is  desperate again, so they make another dumb trade for what they believe might be "The Guy", and the process starts all over again... Mortgaging the future

isn't a remedy... I don't  think it's a bad idea to bite the bullet so your team can make real strides.

giving up all of that stuff still lets us make a 1st, 2nd, 3rd,4th,5th, 6th round pick this year, plus everything but a second next year. How often can we realistically take a qb high and still be able to say that?

    It's time.

 ALL THAT???? -For kid who may not even be able to play???

This, people, is exactly why you tank... -It only hurts ONCE... -This trade could debilitate a team for the better part of a decade.

We would literally still have a full draft.

But "wait til next year"..."the time isn't right"...and ten years of 7-9 to 9-7 go by with every team in that stretch having at least one franchise qb while we sit on our thumbs spinning in circles making sure we have our Matt Milanos and Karlos Williams's.

More and more I’m wanting them to stay at 12 and take Jackson. There’s no reason he can’t be as good of a WB as any of the other QBs in this draft.

Sure there is, and that reason is his accuracy when facing real defenses on a football field in pads.

We always talk about completion percentage, but completion percentage can be fixed or reflect positively/negatively on system and teammates. Watching a qb throw inaccurately, however, cannot be fixed as easily. And when I SEE a qb as inaccurate as Allen or Jackson, no amount of citing historical COMPLETION PERCENTAGES will change the way I feel. Only improved mechanics and accuracy can, and that literally never happens.

  6. I'd add more.

Time to stop !@#$ing around, Buffalo Bills. Get your quarterback and build your team.

I guarantee we won't be pissing and moaning 3 years from now about extra seconds/thirds when we're heading into a home AFC championship game.

Even if it doesn't work, we still have a much greater chance of that in the near future if we make a move NOW for a qb like Rosen than if we wait another indeterminate amount of time, perpetually in a state of "that's too much" or "this qb class is weak, maybe next year".

    !@#$ing do it.

    Josh Allen freakin sucks.

Watch the tape. The guy couldn’t do it against softies in a terrible conference. When he played somebody that was worth something he folded. Terrible accuracy and despite what people think you CANNOT fix accuracy.

Picking him in the first round would be awful and set this team back years.

    Again, McBeane isn’t that stupid.

Seriously, what the hell are some of these posters smoking?

Show me these videos where a WR is full on halting to catch Jackson's pass, I have watched him 2 seasons straight all of his games, show me this video.

Call me crazy, I know, but I don't have footage available of the ~5th best QB prospects hundreds of attempts this past year?

It's hard enough to get anything beyond highlight videos, much less an exact !@#$ing throw from the exact game.

Wow, I didn't know he was victim to 38 drops. I'll admit I don't follow college players much, but are the accuracy concerns he get nothing but hot takes from box score experts, or...?

I've watched him a few times and his touch/placement is not there. Even in the highlight clips his open-by-an-acre receivers are adjusting and slowing and veering to get under his throws. I've seen them downright halt in their routes before. It's bad and since accuracy can't be taught, I stay far away from Lamar (and Allen).

Hey while you’re at it how about mocking Muslim belief too? No?

Pretty sure that muslims also believe in the same young earth creation story, if they are "literalists", because the christian texts are also holy texts in islam, so in a way he was also mocking muslims who take that story literally too.

It's physics.  Aggregation of material under gravity results in a spherical shape above a certain certain size.  A flat earth requires a completely new and locally wildly different theory of gravity.

You should hear what these people, and closely related electric universe "theorists", think about physics and gravity in particular. They don't care what physics says.
