It would’ve happened last year in the playoffs if the Bills LB corps wasn’t literally the most depleted it’s ever been in all my years watching this team. I knew as soon as AJ Klein was on the field, trying to play coverage there was no chance of them stopping KC at all that game. Had Bernard been healthy I’m pretty sure this team goes to the SuperBowl last year. Hell, they could’ve probably gotten the job done with Williams and Spector, but AJ Klein was just a bridge too far.

Putting AJ Klein in coverage was bad idea.  He was not performing well when they tried to stick a round peg into square hole first time and when they changed how they were using him he got Player of the Week award.  Not enough time for defense to adjust I guess.

  2. He is on many lists; no need to pay for insider.

    3. Terrance Gray

Bills' Director of Player Personal Terrance Gray would be a good choice for the Jets to replace Douglas. He’s been with them for seven seasons and has helped to craft the team to almost a Super Bowl contender year after year. Gray has also worked with the Minnesota Vikings and the Chiefs before joining the Bills. He has experience in the front office and working with the General Manager Accelerator Program. So, he has experience in making things happen for specific teams and has been a scout earlier in his career. The Jets would benefit from a guy like this running their team.

The Jets just need to find the right guy. They have not had great picks, and management has been no help. If they put any of these guys in, they can turn this team into something decent for next season. They will stick with what they must work with, and the Jet will go from there.

Terrance Gray, VP of Player Personnel, Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills seamlessly transitioned away from aging veterans this offseason, somehow getting younger while also getting better.

Terrance Gray has been essential in Buffalo’s talent acquisition process, joining the staff in college scouting before shifting to pro personnel in 2022. He landed interviews with the Raiders and Chargers earlier this year.

If New York is looking to pry Joe Brady from Buffalo, pairing him with Terrance Gray is something to consider as well.

    Terrance Gray, Buffalo Bills

It shouldn't come as a surprise that the next name is also from one of the best organizations in the league. This time, though, it's the Jets' rival, the Bills.

Gray has been with the Bills since 2017 after he spent 11 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings as a college scout. Now, his title is Vice President of Player Personnel. Simply, he is a pro at player acquisition.

Inherently, Gray has been essential to Buffalo's process of talent acquisition. If the Jets were to bring him in, they'd bring a Buffalo-style front office and steal a key player in the talent acquisition of one of their biggest rivals.

  3. I will post them when they are related to Bills and I see on day posted.

    1988 November 20

I have a Scott Norwood autograph from a program from that day.  I have never seen Fred Smerlas in person to ask him for an autograph on it.

Great report, no stadium scene for me. Live in Nebraska and have to deal with all Chefs(not a mis-spell) fans!! Folks here like to eat, especially BBQ!!! Bills fan for more than 50 years and witnessed the 31-7 smack down from Lenny Dawson and the group. Blahhhhhhhh!!! So it's always great to see them lose.

I think it would be a great new name for team if they got pressured to change name like WTF (Washington Team Football) did.

Maybe they can find a company to pay for new team NAME and save their fans from having to pay PSLs for new stadium.

In the old days many football teams were named after companies.

Woody was the ambassador to the UK during the first Trump administration (seasons 2017-2020) which didn't improve the Jests all that much.  Why would another stint as ambassador change anything with the Jests?   It's wishful thinking on the part of Jests fans IMO.

Well I hope they move the JEST to England or Ireland and he can get something done about the terrible fields NFL teams playing there.

The GDT is (as you said) a cesspool, full of the emotional baggage of perennially stressed out Bills fans, just imagine only having the GDT as one’s only source of team information, any sane person would rightly assume that the Bills are a total shambles of a NFL team, you know, like the jets…, 😆🤣😂

Well considering the offense names and tripe used by Bills fan some would surprised it is a Bills forum.

Probably the wrong thread for this, but the Decline of Travis Kelce is well underway.

8.4 YPC this year after years of 12, then 10.

When has he ever been held to two catches for minimal yards vs the Bills defense?

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Let the embarrassing film career begin!

Two games before playing Bills Kelce had good games - it had a lot to do with Buffalo defense.

less than two years of starting and he's already made more big plays than Tremaine Edmunds has in his career.

This may be difficult to understand but like some CBs are never thrown at Tremaine Edmunds PREVENTED a number of plays due to his size and amount of space he could cover allowing other players to  make plays.

Congratulations to Terrel Bernard with well deserved award without a dig on previous players.

Well said. I might pivot slightly and say it is QB friendly. Protection wise, especially the O-Line, you have to give  Kromer  credit that the interior O-line has improved significantly in guys like Jones/Simmons/Quinnen Williams of the world being less effective against Josh this season and we were not always double-team them.

They changed the blocking scheme for they have stronger linemen now. Kromer had a scheme allowing defense to go thru in middle of defense and were redirected with Josh protected on one side of line which he could throw from there or go further toward sideline for throwing longer passes or running it.  The OL is much more solid in middle now with new center and guards with more training and experience.

It'll be interesting on Thanksgiving moving forward if they ever say screw it the Lions and Cowboys aren't guaranteed to play home games on that day and can get flexed out.  Nobody wants to watch Tommy Devito vs. Cooper Rush while eating turkey.  Not even their families.

Flexing a Thanksgiving game will likely screw a lot of fans who bought airline tickets, game tickets and hotel rooms at one of the biggest travel periods of the year with new game fans even more but that is not as important as TV ratings.   You should be working in NFL office.

The rosters are pretty evenly matched and are so familiar with each other now that they have taken on the nature of a divisional matchup.   Even when one team plays notably better........like KC going thru the Bills injury riddled defense like a hot knife in the divisional matchup last year........the game ends up close.

KC sometimes plays like someone not wanting to make full effort for they do not feel need to do it.

The Chiefs only scored one touchdown in the second half and had 259 yards of offense

It was a tremendous coaching effort across the board with a great game plan ... Our defense was controlling the majority of the game not there offense

If there's one thing you should learn its that Joe Brady will continue to run the ball whether it's successful or not because it keeps the defense honest

    And wears them out

It is harder to wear them down when they play 5 man DL but Bills have shown backup OL players can perform so maybe they can occasionally substitute lineman to keep them fresh and strong.

  14. Netflix subscribers sue company for ‘breach of contract’ over poor quality of Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight

Netflix is facing a class-action lawsuit after widespread complaints about buffering and glitches during the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight Friday night.

The lawsuit was filed in Florida by Ronald “Blue” Denton and accuses Netflix of “breach of contract” for constant glitches during the event.

Netflix acknowledged the poor streaming quality of the highly anticipated event in a statement released Monday.

    Quote

Netflix’s live broadcast from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, peaked at 65 million concurrent households in the U.S. An estimated 56% of all TV viewership in the country was tuned into the Tyson-Paul fight between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. ET, the streaming service added.

56%? I did not even know that 56% of the country knew of the fight and 56% of the country has netflix.

Maybe they'll just fully turn over GM duties to Rodgers, they were basically bringing in everyone he wanted anyway.

Actually there is a rule about coaches or front office staff being players; a team could get away with a player retiring and then becoming a coach or working for team but a player cannot do this.    It came up when Denver ran out of QBs.  That does not prevent an own telling a GM to listen to player.
