    One can only hope LOL

I agree Schoen will be back... Daboll not so much LOL

Daboll COULD but I think he'd have to do it after first apologizing to Coach McD over whatever soured the relationship and it would not be right after he was fired.  McDermott seems to be the type to forgive and believes everyone can improve themselves.

I don't think Joe Brady gets a HC job despite him being one of the Vegas favorites for the Saints.   But if he were fired.........and McDaniel were fired........do you think McDermott tries to hire McDaniel as OC?   Brings in a guy familiar with the Bills personnel and the division but also I still think McD wants to run a Shanahan style offense.

McDaniel would not fit at all with culture McDermott built up for Bills.

I wonder how many of the outraged chiefs fans get drunk and take part in the "indian war chant" and tomahawk chop at KC home games?

*I do think it was dumb to hang the frog even if the intent was not a lynching.

A noose is a hanging.  Tying a string to a puppet is not a hanging - strings on puppets are natural.

Next there will be offense of Reid and Mahones being dressed up as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.

But how would Rodgers handle Rex in the locker room?.......i can't see this ending well for Rex, so i don't think he would even put himself in that position IMO.

He would do it for money.  While being a talking head earns him money it is not as much as a head coach.  He could look for college coaches who want to break into NFL and give them lots of input and control who would do majority of the work.

If Rex had a better quarterback, he might still be in Buffalo. The difference between 2015-16 & 2017 is minute.

Difference between 2015-16 & 2017 is effort which he did not want to put in.

Let me start by saying I have zero tattoos on my body, my father who is 75 years old also doesn't but we made a deal if the bills won the Superbowl we would get matching Tats.... Where would the best location be on the body that would hurt the least? And what kind of tat designs should it entail? (Trophy, logo, year, MVP etc?)

I would never get one but if you are going to get one get it not related to a specific year or player since this will be something you will have for rest of life.  It is also possible to get semi-permanent tattoos which you could get and then get feedback on it before you make it permanent.

And let's face it, at some point when a team underachievers there has to be a sacrifice made to the roar of the fans. An owner isn't going to fire himself, so the HC is next to go. It's why I still think Mike McDaniel isn't fully safe in Miami even though they just signed him to a new deal. If Miami crashes from here on our his seat may be boiling hot.

IMO fan boil over is overrated.  Majority of money for teams comes from NFL profit sharing and for many teams ticket brokers and travel agencies.  If local fans do not buy then they sell to visiting teams' fans as part of packages.  Fans are courted but NFL changes schedules and fans who have spent hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars as well as using up leave time are screwed but teams expect new fans to replace them.

People forget how frustrating things were under Dabol at times.....we all remember how it ended with Allen playing at his absolute best in those playoffs.   I still give him the nod because he helped develop Allen, it is a thought exercise to think about whether it all happens without him or not but he was there for Allen going from a wild untamed player to elite NFL QB.

What was best was Brian Daboll's synergy with Allen where they would call each other even other up in middle of night with ideas sometimes wild.

Yeah, Dennison got handed a poor deck of cards and he didn't even get fired mid-season like Dorsey, so maybe he should rank ahead of Dorsey!

Dennison acted like a magician who stacks the deck of cards but this time rather than an Ace on top of deck he put a 5 of Clubs (Peterson) which got him fired.

I believe it although sometimes it doesn’t feel that way cause he has chickened out on occasion punting when we prolly should have gone for it

Chickening out because he does not agree with the squab with one leg.

Every well thought critic of McDermott is about McDermott getting tight in critical situations and especially in the playoffs with elimination creating even more pressure. His brain literally shuts off....

    Completely brain dead comment.

Go look at the defensive formation vs the jets on the hail Mary. I literally thought I was on acid looking at it. It made zero sense

Bengals need to cut ties and find the best coach available. Bill Bellicheck would be dying to coach them, I’m sure Ben Johnson would take it if he wants to move. Vrabel as well.

Beli-CHEAT would hate working for Bengals - how would he find the money for all of the under the table stuff he does!

This type of thing shows why many guys who are great athletes - big, strong, fast, great arms, accurate passers, etc. - often can't succeed as a NFL QB.  The brain has to process information SO quickly and then, once it's processed, execute the play.  Orlovsky himself didn't have the talent to do it in the field (at least not consistently at the NFL level), but he's pretty good at breaking it down in the studio.  Nice clip.

If this technology was available it is possible that it could have allowed him to become a better player - different people learn better different ways.

In college I worked as an assistant during summer teach ESL (English as second language rather than English is secondary language as some part of this country.

I told students when teaching vocabulary - SEE (read) it, SAY it, WRITE it and TYPE it.   Students found best way to learn for them.

Different actions take different paths through brain.

At work I was dealing with a new employee who started job with little training so I walked her through parts of her job I know.  When I asked her name I told her where in Africa her came from and I recognized her accent.  She said it was a very small village and surprised I had heard of it. I told her I had a student with her last name in college who I taught English to.  She asked where I went to college and she told me University of Buffalo.  She asked when I taught so I told her. She told me her father went that summer.  He ended up going back to his home village and teaching.  Her father taught her my rule.

"The NFL's Rooney Rule rewards teams that develop minority candidates for general manager (GM) and head coach positions with compensatory draft picks:

    Compensation

Teams receive a third-round compensatory pick for two years if they lose a minority candidate to another team. If the team loses both a coach and an executive, the pick is extended for a third year."

The "problem" with the compensation aspect of the Rooney Rule is that it arguably disincentivizes  a team from hiring from a divisional or even conference rival.

I'd be willing to trade Gray for two 3rd round picks but I have a hard time believing that the Jets will be the team that hires him.

True unless that person had inside information of competition, had connections (probably factor in being hired) and could proved significant help to see it is not different from hiring a coach from another team - it helps you and it is not extra cost to you.
