I'm happy with the Oliver pick but was high on Hockenson, but after the Giants f'ed up you know they had their choice of three where they really couldn't choose poorly. And maybe after the draft they said they had Oliver rated higher but we'll never know, would have been interesting to se what would have happened if both Hock and Oliver were still left.

Because as we all here know a top ten pick is guaranteed to become a star or at least a 10+ year starter, where as Mack has proven nothing and is getting older by the minute. anybody wouldn't give a 2019 1st rounder is either crazy or lacks football knowledge, I understand the reluctance of paying is salary but being afraid of giving up a 1st ? Hughes and a 2019 1st for Mack. Git er done.

They lucked in because they never should have punted in ot in the Indy game. They had to win, tie was just as bad as a lost, so, yes, they did get lucky.
