  1. JMO...
Has the Jabrill Peppers hype train finally come to a stop yet? He got exposed as a defender vs Iowa and again vs OSU. It reminded me of when Manti Teo played Alabama in the National Championship game a few years ago and all of a sudden looked slow and out of his league. Peppers is a good football player and great athlete overall but I don't see it as a defensive prospect. How do you get shaken out of your shoes by JT Barrett who may not be much faster than me? How do you get blocked out of the biggest play of the season by a freshman? I was at the game and he was a liability on defense in their biggest game in the biggest moments. He's too small to play LB in the NFL (he's 30 lbs lighter than Darron Lee and not nearly as fast) and not fast enough nor skilled enough to play safety. He played the same position as Lee and Shazier in college (Viper) but he reminds me of Eric Striker as an NFL prospect on D. His best position in the NFL would be a hyrbrid on offense if used correctly (not what Harbaugh did Saturday) and KR/PR. He's a stud with the ball in his hands but wouldn't waste a draft pick on him as a defensive player. Give me a real safety or a real LB instead.

  2. Miami nearly lost to SF at home and barely beat Jared Goff in his first ever game. Not impressed, they will lose to any half decent team such as Ravens, and just get a worse draft pick as a result of their little win streak. Their offense is good but their defense sucks and wait until they need to play in any kind of weather in December, their offense will suck too.

    Thank you!

  4. Goff's baby hands make me think the Browns won't take him. Hugh Jackson said hand size matters playing in the AFC North. Sashi said it doesn't, because analytics I guess. I actually think with this crew of QBs that 2 is too high for any of them. Give me Bosa instead.

Cardale has been hanging out with him too #twofittythree

Cardale is a solid 253. Saw him in Cleveland not long ago at autograph session. He's not like Fat Ben.

    Great combine article

Miller's just one of a host of guys who should be in the running for the mythical Chris Johnson "King of the Combine" honors.

After talking to numerous general managers, personnel chiefs, college scouting directors and area scouts over the last week, here are the guys joining Miller on the starting 22 of my inaugural Spandex All-Star Team (listed in alphabetical order)
