  1. Come on Davis!!!! Make that catch. And now he’s hurt?
  2. Would like to see Hines in our offense a little now…
  3. Wow! did that Devin run remind anyone of #34??
  4. All he did was catch the ball that Gabe Davis should’ve caught last game.
  5. God we absolutely suck on 3rd downs.
  6. I worry more about his mental state right now than his physical state. Seriously. I want to be optimistic… but every time he drops back with happy feet, I’m praying for no INT.
  7. Hope you’re right… but need to see our b-squad on D really step up today. We’re still hobbled out there.
  8. Definitely impressive all things considered. And while we, the fans, get our expectations too high, the media has driven so much of it this season. It has basically been “Super Bowl WIN or bust” from every talking head out there. I like it much better when we’re the underdogs and the team plays with that chip on their shoulder. Need to get our guys healthy again…
  9. Wow, this is a feel good post. Makes me want to step in front of a train.
  10. No chance. Allen is completely different from Carson Wentz… and a lot of that is between his ears. Allen’s great play wasn’t a fluke. I think the past couple weeks are a fluke… something is/was up with him. Not sure if mental or physical. Those 4 INT’s were so bad, it’s almost as if he tried to throw them. That’s not Allen. He’ll be ok.
  11. Is there something wrong with me because I like Jill Burrow?
  12. For all of McD’s weird challenges, I was surprised he didn’t on this one.
  13. Welp, game over
  14. That’s my biggest concern too, if Allen plays. Our O-Line is average at best. It doesn’t do Allen many favors, and he’s usually able to mask it. Will also be interesting to see Vikings D game plan. Seems every team gives Allen the short passes and tries to takeaway the deep balls and chunk plays. If he’s gimpy, wonder if they’ll stack box and take away the running game and short passes… essentially making Allen have to go deep to beat them…
  15. Not calling anyone a liar, but how can a partial tear not get any worse? Can’t a partial tear turn into a full tear?
  16. If he doesn’t play, I’ll be looking to take a pain killer.
  17. I think Josh plays Sunday. A LOT of running and short screens and passes. Get some defensive players back on the field… win game.
  18. Davis has been the biggest disappointment for me, and it’s not even close. Never had high expectations for McKenzie.. but truly felt Gabe would be dominant this year. I want to say Knox too, but really seems they have him blocking a lot vs using him like Kelce.
  19. Doubt there would be many positives, especially if our injured starters don’t come back. If we can get Tre, Poyer, Milano, and some additional secondary help, our defense CAN win us 13-10 games. Then you have some positives. If Josh (literally our entire offense) is out, along with all the injuries on the defensive side, no chance we win anything. Also, Im gonna freakin puke if Miami wins our division.
  20. I don’t see it.. I say, play Josh! Let him throw with his left arm, and run every other play!
  21. Couldn’t agree more. Overall, Shakir has looked fine. Give him more playing time. It can’t be much worse than McKenzie’s play! Same can be said for Cook. He was more involved today… this needs to continue. I liked how he ran with the ball today.
  22. Nah I don’t feel that way at all.. He is a total stud, and we know what he can do. Something is wrong with him right now. Not sure if physical or mental. A sports psychologist might be a good idea right about now…
  23. As posted in the postgame thread.. My takeaways: 1) zero game balls deserved. If there was anyone, I guess it’d be Diggs? 2) something is very wrong with Allen. I think it’s in his head, versus injury.. but we’ll see. It needs to be figured out, because we rely way too much on him. No one was good, but this game was on Josh today. Plain and simple. His decision making and execution sucked. He ran the ball well… great… but prefer we use a running back for that! 3) on the note above, how about even trying to establish a running game? Which also leads to the next comment… 4) it seemed like our O-Line did not hold up well today. Further justifying complaints that we didn’t focus enough on the trenches. The jets owned us in the trenches on both sides of the line for most of the game. 5) Gabe Davis has been my biggest disappointment so far this season. And this is a guy we’re concerned about losing to some team that would pay him huge money to be their #1 wideout? No consistency from him this season. And don’t appreciate the half-a@@ effort on that last ball. It hit him in the chest. Diggs makes that catch. 6) defensive injuries were killers for us, in both of our losses. That said, funny how the offense sputtered out (regarding points scored) in both of those losses too. A healthy Tre White, Milano, and Poyer might have made the difference in this 3 point game. 7) may not be time for full blown panic button… but reality has set in, and we clearly are beatable. Two losses to divisional teams are killers. These may be the difference between a top 4 seed, and a hopeful wildcard. 8. McDermott did not have this team ready to play today. Once again, they couldn’t stop the run. Tackling was absolutely brutal. Blocking was weak. And we seemed to have given up midway through. Pathetic effort and coaching. 9) nothing is worse than a loss like this, then having to go through a work week. I tend to try tuning out from football altogether during the week.
