Playoffs?

Is it confirmed that Allen & Diggs are at odds? I know the way it looked in the last game… but does their relationship need repairing?

I’m less and less optimistic as the days pass. If we don’t get DHop, we better get someone that’s a difference maker at WR. I don’t want Gabe Davis as our #2 this year… and the Jets, Dolphins and Pats are better!

Come on Beane!!! Give your franchise QB what he needs. And for the love of God, don’t let the Chiefs beat you in the offseason.

Agree… but also can you imagine the numbers that Allen and this offense can put up with Diggs, Hopkins, Davis, Knox, Cook, Harris, and a better O-line than last season?!?! Would be our best offense since… ever.

There could be multiple games where Diggs, Hopkins and Davis each have 100 yards receiving.

Yeah I’m ready for Beane to make his magic move here. Overall nothing too impressive.

That’s crazy. By the end of this season, Josh could be our 5th, 6th or 7th leading rusher of all time.

I think what that game did was expose our weaknesses. Both sides of our lines were beaten up and down. Offensively, we realized that we’d been leaning on a crappy O-Line all season, but Allen made up for it. In this game, Allen was off, and we suffered the consequences. We had it coming. Allen and Diggs need help, and our other players need to step up. On the D-Line, we realized that we pretty much sucked without Von. Injuries compounded the problem. And our D scheme was pitiful… playing soft, allowing QB’s to get the ball out quickly, and not allowing our linemen to get to the opposing QB. Our secondary was decimated.. I think we’ll be back in the mix.. but definitely tempering expectations.

Why keep comparing him to Frank Gore? And are yards per carry the only metric that should be used to determine how good a runningback is?

Seriously, with King Henry and Josh in the same backfield, I’d go for 4th down every single time if under 5 yards.
