….Second, I've seen a lot of confusion over the issue of "civilian nuclear power" and "uranium enrichment." These are distinct issues. Iran could have civilian nuclear power without enrichment, but Iran rejected that. Meanwhile, they've enriched uranium far above the level necessary for any civilian purpose. They've been found in violation of their non-proliferation obligations by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which is hardly a rightwing organization. It's one thing to want civilian nuclear energy. It's another thing to demand sophisticated enrichment capacity. And it's still another to cling to enrichment while simultaneously violating basic non-proliferation obligations and enriching right to the point of weapons-grade uranium….

God I love belonging* to a party that openly will disagree with each other and debate. The ideological diverse party vs the Woke Omni Cause party where zero dissent is tolerated or you’re purged. This is how it should look between the 2 major parties - when they used to share the same stratosphere. *No one should vote Democrat ever

No, they aren’t losing the war. And Iran’s only hope to survive would be at minimum the threat of help from Russia. But bc we have a President that didn’t completely alienate Russia, or antagonize them, Russia is out on Iran.

No. Can’t imagine what would happen if we had a President that was completely hostile to Russia tho. Highly likely they side with Iran or at least provide the really significant threat of it. Yes, it’s Russia, they can walk and chew gum at the same time. And all they’ll need to do is supply Iran. And if that were the reality, then Iran gets its nukes and continues to be the biggest terrorist threat on the planet.

Will never convince me otherwise - this goes for everyone in government or the bureaucracy. House of Cards was meant to be a cautionary tale. I think the writers were just given material by the Obama Administration

And Biden was a part of the administration that paid Iran billions to “not” pursue nuclear weapons but could still build the missiles pummeling Israel today. A deal they immediately broke. A deal set to expire this year. Trump in 2015 called it the worst deal ever. I’m finding it hard to see why it was ever agreed to in the first place. This isn’t Obama’s fault. He just decided the superpower of the Middle East should be Iran. Which is itself, meddling. Intervention. Adventures in the Middle East. Trump brought us the Abraham Accords. The most significant step toward peace probably ever, between Israel and its neighbors. But sure he doesn’t know what he’s doing.
