Yeah but that doesn’t include local channels and lacks DVR. It’s not bad for what you get but it could be better. Probably wouldn’t work for me right now.

It includes all local channels as the base streaming package, Then you pick which additional you want. And yes, there is now an option for cloud DVR using Apple TV. It was just added. Like I said, they don’t advertise it, you have to ask. Believe me, I know.

I just signed my son up for NFL Sunday Ticket online streaming for students at $100.  Good deal.

I posted this in the other thread too...

Just renewed this year for the Directv stream. My buddy has a wife in college and I was able to use her college email for the Student rate of $99 for the whole season. This is the 3rd year in a row that I have been able to do this. If you have a family member or good friend in college use their info to get qualified. you don’t have to use their info for the account, just to get qualified. Once you are qualified you use your own email and payment info. Each year you must re-qualify. So for $99 I can stream on Apple TV 4K, or an XBOX, my computer, my phone, my iPad, or any other device that can download the app or connect too the website. You can only use one device at a time. This is by far the best way I have watched games aside from being there. Watching in 4K is just outstanding, better than the TV broadcast.

And I am not a directv or att customer. I work for Spectrum and get free cable and internet. I live in FL so its either a stream or Bar and the bars are too dam expensive now.

What's stopping companies like Spectrum from offering a streaming only service for people who don’t want to pay $8 per month for a cable box on each tv?

Nothing is stopping them, they already offer it. You have to call and ask about it. You can stream Spectrum TV app through Roku, Samsung, Fire Stick, Apple TV, XBOX One, etc..No cable boxes required.

As opposed to the one I live on which, if you measure from its base which is at the bottom of the ocean, is easily the tallest mountain on earth.

And if you consider land based mountains from peak to base Denali in Alaska is the tallest in the world. So the tallest marine based and land based mountains in the world are both in the United States. If you put Everest next to either in a strictly size comparison it is dwarfed.

  5. Detroit is relatively easy drive from Buffalo, if you cut through Ontario that is. It’s closer than most would think, and it is a shorter drive than any team in our division. I think the only teams closer to Buffalo are the Steelers and Browns. So this would partially explain the good turn out.

I am sure they get plenty of people crossing the border on game day.

  6. Could Orlando be working on a deal to relocate the Jags? I don't see the fins moving, and I don't believe the Bucs stadium is old and needing replacement. That would leave Jacksonville as a potential team that could convince the league to allow them to slide over to Orlando?

The Citrus Bowl is not an NFL stadium and could never support a team. I think they are eyeing the Pro Bowl.

  7. I always find it so ironic that Hollywood is allowed to profit off of the tragedies of war, the injustices of the past, our current social issues, and insert any further topic. Yet, for any of us, we are ridiculed and criticized for even using an unpopular opinion. So congrats Hollywood for profiting on the struggles of former NFL players.

  8. I watched this and just don't know how to feel. Honestly I really feel mad more now than anything. At that time I allowed my life to be dictated by the Bills. The feeling after a win was so great, a real rush, but when they lost SB 25 I was devastated. How could they lose that game? I now say they lost instead of we. I now realize that I had no control over that or any other game, and none of us did. That is why I always now question when someone refers to a team as us or we. We had nothing to do with the win or loss, all we did was spend money on it. But what I would give to go back and tell them, just run the hell outta it and win.

Man, I really feel bad for Norwood. There is no doubt he is still affected greatly by that play. He was in tears there sitting on the steps recalling the play and his last days in Buffalo.

  9. We're going to kick Philadelphia's azzzzzz tomorrow and some of you guys are going to start changing your tune. I really believe we can do it. I really think things are starting to click and all we need is to have most of our best players on the field.

Like I said. I was thinking the exact same thing Thursday night and logged on Friday to see this thread...already on page 3.

    It's a sign.

Tonight you guys will all be weeping watching The Four Falls of Buffalo...and you know Rex will have the players watching also...and we (players, coaches, management, fans, even that tool Russ Brandon) are going to wake up on Sunday morning as ONE BUFFALO like never before.

I totally believe it's our turn this year.

    Your enthusiasm is superb.
