  1. Whelp.....it's on us to do what we need to do.  We have to win Monday and get to work because even though the Chiefs haven't been that potent on offense, they are still a good team and the defending champs.  To be the man, you have to beat the man and with a win Monday, we will get that chance.  It's going to be tough because you know the Chiefs will bring their best and that comes with some favorable calls from the refs.  Going to be an uphill battle, but it's all in front of us.

  2. I'm rooting for the Bills.  What will be, will be.  If we find a way to win Monday, then it will be on to another team.  No matter whether it is the Chiefs or the Texans, we're going to be in for a fight.  There is no "easy" road to the Super Bowl this year....or most years really.  You are going to have to beat good teams.  You are going to have to beat up and coming teams.  You just have to find a way to win.  I always subscribe to the saying "Be careful what you wish for" and that is why I am not rooting for any teams to win other than the Bills.  Beat the Steelers and whoever we play next week will be who we play.  New team that will offer a unique challenge.  GO BILLS!

  3. The more I watch this game, the more I realize just how much I can't stand either team.  The constant complaining to the refs by Mahomes and other players, the shots of Andy Reid and his frozen mustache complaining about calls, Kelce and all the Taylor Swift crap......ugh.  Can't stand them.  And then you have the Dolphins trying to pretend they are something that they're not.  But the worst part about that franchise is their pissy 8 fans they have.  I mean the Chiefs fans aren't any better, but man.  There are no redeeming qualities to either of these franchises.  Just wish neither one of them had to win this game.  Hate them both so much.  Is it too much to root for an asteroid to win this game?

Outside of the safety issue which should be the #1 priority.. this is an equalizer for the inferior team. This has that Colts Bills vibe that was a complete 50/50. If I’m the Bills I’m pushing for Monday for both reasons. Mind boggling to me the spread remains at 9ish.

Yeah.....I don't get this spread at all.  We have been big favorites in recent weeks and have never come close to covering those numbers.  In fact, we haven't covered most of the year in general.  With a physical Steelers team that is going to look to come in here can control the game and time of possession on the ground, with the added weather element, this seems like an easy cove on the line.  I'd be more tempted to take the Steelers on the moneyline than I would be to take the Bills and lay the points.  I think that number in a Playoff game is almost ridiculous in perfect weather let alone what these teams are potentially dealing with Sunday.  Seems like a very strange spread all things considered.

  5. Admittedly, I haven't gone back and watched the All 22 yet, but he wasn't really noticeable out there last night.  But, in all fairness to Von, none of our pass rushers really ever got a sniff of Tua.  There were a couple of chances here and there, but it was our DEs using their length to alter the passing lanes making it difficult for Tua to throw the ball where he wanted to on a few occasions.  But in terms of rushing the passer, nobody really did that well because the ball was coming out fast.  Tua is a 1 read guy a lot of the time.  Their offense is schemed up and he basically knows where he is going with the ball before it is even snapped.  If you don't take away his first read, the ball is out before the rushers have a chance.  Their offense is pretty unique in that way.  So, until I get a chance to go through the film a little more thoroughly, I am not going to rag on Von when I really don't remember too many other rushers making plays either.

  6. This is a post game thread, but I am ready for a Steelers thread.  Winning the Division is obviously really nice, and I want everyone to enjoy it because of what a roller coaster of a season this has been, but man......if there was ever a season to win a Super Bowl, it might be this one.  Not because we are the best team.  Not because we are the most explosive team.  But because of the resiliency of this team.  NOTHING is ever handed to this team.  They earn everything and many times it is not pretty.  You can tell that the men on this team are playing for each other and they have each other's backs.  It's just different than it has been the last few years.

That said, I am ready to start game planning for the Steelers and having some serious conversations about playing time for certain guys.  Look.....Von.  I'm not ready to just throw him in the trash heap because I think he will be better next season.  But this season?  Time to put on your coaching hat and get guys more physically capable ready to play.  Gabe Davis.......He's probably a #4 WR on this team right now.  Shakir needs to get his snaps.  Kincaid needs to be getting his snaps.  This offense operates better without him.  He's just not someone Allen can trust and they are not on the same page.  I don't know how bad his injury is, but I'm in no hurry to put him back in the lineup.  He runs bad routes and doesn't seem to understand where he needs to be a lot of the time.  Let the kids play.

Anyway.....yes, this is a post game thread.  And I'm thrilled with the win.  But this team wants more and so do we.  We have bigger "fish" to fry.......

  7. Obviously, there is a lot of things that can be said about this game, but man.....game balls all around.  Allen was that dude when he needed to be.  But before I go too far into it, credit where credit is due........coach McDermott.  I am not your biggest fan, but today you came through.  You played aggressive in the biggest moments and trusted the team to get it done.  KEEP IT UP.  The defense balled out in the 2nd half.  They beat us for several big plays in the first half, but they shut down the Dolphins in the 2nd half.  Need a better pass rush, but we got it done.  Special Teams have been a disaster all season.  But with the Division on the line, they had their best game of the season.

Everyone of these guys deserve a game ball for this win.  It was ugly.  It was hard fought.  But these men stuck with it and in the end, imposed their will to win.

There is a lot to clean up.  Honestly, with the way we moved the ball, this game should have been a double digit win.  But they fought and I think through all the mess this game had, they are close to finding themselves.  We were 2-3 plays away from putting up 34+ in this game.  We moved the ball all day but just didn't finish.  If we play like we did tonight, but finish the drives????  Watch out.......  GO BILLS!!!!

  8. Josh Allen in a "Bad Game" against the Dolphins:

    426 Total Yards

    78.9% Completion Percentage

    2 TDs

Was a blatant PI call on Knox and an awful James Cook drop from two more TDs.

He wasn't perfect by any means.  But when the game is on the line and you need to just "find a way", I don't think there is another QB in the NFL right now I want playing QB for my team.
