Um, the Raiders have won three Super Bowls, been to five, and have the fourth highest team winning percentage in NFL history (.554 -- http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/ ). Plus they've made the playoffs three times in the past decade. They've been bad since 2003, but that's a short span of time, all things considered.
The Raiders were a good organization once. Right now they are the most dysfunctional team in the league.

Except for:
Ryan
Flacco
Roethlisberger
Brady
Rodgers
Rivers
Cutler
Well, so much for that theory. In the era of the successful rookie QB, for the Bills to not be able to pick one for over 10 years is just inexcusable.
Every QB you listed started with good offensive lines. You give more credibility to his point. Without a competent line a young QB can not be successful.

!) The Bills continue their bumbling ways to another losing record and start 2010 with a new coach, but same GM/FO?
2) The Bills clean house and RW gives control of the Bills to REAL football personnel?
3) The Bills are put up for auction and move out of sight (not out of mind for some)?
4) Jim Kelly has enough deep-pocketed friends to move the team to a new stadium closer to Niagara Falls and a new era begins?

Don't kid yourself we won't suck enough to get a top 5 pick. They can't even do that right. The Rams, Browns, Raiders, Buccaneers are locks for the top spots. Wild card teams for the final spot are Tenn, Det and the Bills.

I assume if history repeats itself (which it seems to do around here), we're in for another retread, someone unproved who comes at a cheap price or an assistant promoted until the end of the season, then... a retread an unproven coach who comes at a cheap price.
I hear Atlanta's offensive coordinator has head coaching experience. Maybe we can try him.

So we only throw down field when we are losing by 4 TD's? Where has this been all game.

At the end of the day...

I'm glad I found this external hard drive. It solves my biggest fear about having the backup on site w/ my desktop.
You can get it from the Costco website w/ an extra year of data recovery for $279.99

I believe teams take on the personality of their head coach. Lynch made a good comment about the Saints last year. Payton realized the team was getting a soft mentality on offense and set out to change it. I have not seen any evidence of emotion good or bad from Jauron. I don't think we have a coach that can get the most of the talent we have. That's all a fan can ask for.

We have two decoy WRs in order to ensure that the middle of the field is cleared for our 3rd string TE.
Sad, but true through the first 3 weeks of the season.
-
dismal...should be funny to see what Brees does next week.
That's too scary to think about. Let's hope we can hold on to this game.

I remember this one. I think what happened was sean jefferson maybe was given a catch that he shouldn't have been given, that kept the drive alive. It was a play near the sideline and clearly his left foot was out of bounds. I remember the players were called back on to the field for the XP to as NE scored the TD with no time remaining. It was painful.
This is the "Just give it to them" game.

Its so incredibly unbelievable that its completely believable. I was watching with a bunch of non bills fans n they all were congratulating me with 5 min to go n I told em a bills game isn't over till the clock reads zero. Now I gotta go into work n here sll these people that I never really liked in the first place make stupid f**kin comments
I feel your pain. I was avoiding talking to non Bills fans, telling me how good the Bills looked. I had a bad feeling something like this would happen.

It's weird being one of the only optimistic people in Buffalo right now, but I'm feeling good. Clearly we should have won that game, but to be honest, we didn't lose because of coaching for the first time in forever. Sure, you'll argue about the 8 second runoff before that last timeout, but let's be real... AVP coached his a$$ off, and we held Brady in check all day.
Basically, everyone is furious because we found a way to lose, but I'm thinking...if that was the best team in the league...and Fred Jackson is healthy, who is going to stop us this season? I'm ready for a week 15 rematch for the mother f*cking division, who's with me?
So a competitive 5-11 season is better than a blow out 5-11 season?

Poz has a broken bone in his arm, no info on how long he'll be out.
With the first pick the Bills select Brandon Spikes LB Florida

Throwback game is the worst. Hell the Dallas game could be wore than this. The "just give it to 'em" game vs. Pats still hurts. I can keep naming them but it's useless at this point.
-
It sucks. Can any of us really say they are shocked this happened. I was waiting for it since 5:28 in the 4 quarter. It's the way of the Bills.
-
The Bengals are smiling because someone choked worse then they did.
-
They couldn't just get bown out and save us the heartache could they?
-
The Bills season finally started. I knew the dream couldn't last
-
Come on offense get it done. If it wasn't for the damn penalties we would be up by more right now. Go Bills.
-
I would like to see Brandon Spikes come here. We currently do not have a defenive player other teams need to account for. Spikes could be one of those players.

The Bills have gone 7-9 their last 3 seasons, had an 0-6 Division record last year, a coach who is coaching for his job, just fired their OC, lost both starting OTs, are starting 3 O-lineman who have never played in an NFL game before, have an OC with barely any coaching experience, a QB who looked mediocre and scared all preseason, and think a rookie is going to make all the difference in a pass rush.
I don't think its ridiculous to think the Bills have the potential to be terrible this year. I hope they aren't, but its certainly not looking good.
Don't point out reality to those with rose colored glasses. They do not appreciate it.
I'm thinking the Bills will have 4-6 wins. That makes me an optimist among many predictions I've seen lately.

Salary cap? What salary cap? The Bills don't have to worry about things like that. These days they don't spend close to the cap.
Thank you for finally pointing this out. The Bills are so far under the cap it's embarrassing.
Since most everyone is writing the season off, what about ...

The Panthers are desperate for a DT. They lost two for the season already.
The problem is they are winless and may not feel the need to trade for one this year. They also, do not have a 1st round pick next year, so even a 2nd round pick would be a huge commitment for them for this year.
