It certainly raises questions as to what else they've lied and are currently lying about in the most secretive Bills organization in history.Yes, but that's not my main concern. Beane has proven himself to be more than capable IMO.

31 million in dead cap. It would have cost just over 3 million to keep him???? Wow, talk about lies with everything being "fine"

He had one good rush last week, and maybe 1 this week. He can't bend anymore. Just watch him pre-injury and now. It's like he's carrying a 30 pound weight on his back...

Correct. Life-changing money and ***** Hollywood actresses will do that to a man.

Collinsworth talked a ton of ***** about Allen the first couple years. He was huge on the "You can't learn accuracy" train. He's always had an anti-Bills bias to begin with. If you haven't seen it the last 30 years Idk What to tell ya...Were you under a rock perhaps?

I wondering if PS (vs straight roster) was a stipulation that Kirksey chose, vs the bills choosing? That way it gives him the chance to leave for another team should he not get elevated and become our starting MLB by say week 2/3?
That's a reasonable thought. May have been the best fit for everyone.

And yet no team cared to sign him to an active roster. Hmmmm. Those are really weak stats btw. It’s not like he didn’t have plenty of opportunities to make tackles and other plays on the Texans last season. They were on the field a lot. I’ve watched him play enough to know what kind of player he is.
Better than Dodson and Bernard w one arm tied behind his back, on Football IQ alone.

Why do I keep hearing on Twitter that Texan fans hate the guy?
They should get their priorities in order as to who deserves hate in that organization...

Won't happen, but that would be cool. Upgrades from Dodson/SpectorIt should be a no-brainer to bring in at least one of Jones/Kirksey.

Think about it - He’s been shopping his wares but it seems the NFL GM’s know either he is injury prone or all the teams have a QB1 in mind.
Lamar has to know this and he gave it a good shot. So I’m wondering if he’s considering a broadcasting/communications sabbatical to let his body heal.
He’s an NFL MVP, playoff QB with several accolades. He could provide some sound in-depth analysis on FOX or CBS. Even Amazon. Not play by play, but maybe on field commentary or halftime, booth analysis or in studio.
He would get signed to a 3 yr / $60 million broadcasting contract in a heartbeat. He’s young enough to heal up while doing game analysis and then re-enter the NFL and fund his retirement.
Just a thought.
Thank you for that mental image and laugh this morning.

They knew they were early first round locks. They blew it off. It's kind of common knowledge 40 years later...
If Lamar's mother were not his agent, he would never have taken the test. I mean, lets be honest, it was thrown away permanently because of politics.

True, but they are the best predictor.

No third RB? Interesting...
Hopefully Siran sees some more snaps in nickel and dime sets. He's been really solid from what I've seen. Real lunch pail guy.

We are missing Star, there is no doubt.

Didnt the bills own a big TOP advantage over the titans?
Yes, and outgained them. The turnovers/short field was the biggest issue.

Learning this complex offense would be a challenge I'd imagine. I doubt he'd give us much this year.
From a skills standpoint? Of course he's an upgrade. He's athletic and once threw for 4400 yards and 35 TD's in the league.

Semi-related. Have you guys seen the influence from Matakevich you were expecting? I can't say I have. I didn't expect Tasker but I've rarely seen him involved.

Yes. Especially now that they are competitive.

Same here, this is not ideal...

wouldn't wins be better than boosting Allen's stats?
Yes, but it's close because of the media.

We're not really comparing Le'Veon Bell to TJ Yeldon now are we? Even if you, for some reason, have faith in Yeldon, our depth is terrible. At a minimum they need to throw another body into the mix
Nobody is comparing them. Just noting there's a good case for Yeldon getting more touches than he has. First case, Tuesday night.
