  1. I looked it up on glassdoor, not the way back machine.

How about the question you're avoiding? What do you actually do as an Oracle Business Analyst?

I have not bee asked that question yet. You are the first one who did.

I work with the business to efficiently manage the business using Oracle Applications. I work on data conversions on new projects, that is mapping legacy data elements and business processes to what they exist as in Oracle. I most support the Supply Chain Apps, so that is a lot of Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory, and Advanced Supply Chain planning. So that means i try and streamline how we buy purchased parts, how we sell our items, how we deliver our products we sell, and to some part how we make and produce our parts too. Those processes are called Bills of Material (basically a recipe for producing something) and Work in Process (the steps to make something). I would document all these different processes, and then determine the best way to enter and manage all the data would help the Supply Chain work faster.

After we are live, there are always things to monitor and make more efficient, and you also have data management to do, no software does not have bugs.

Also, you work with users to design reports to help manage the business too.

Lots, that is all just a small part of it.

This is typical requirement, and is an actual e-mail I received today from a recruiter:

  2. Really? 18 years as an analyst, and you still can't make more than a PMP?

You truly are an idiot.

Haha, I am PMP, I don't like going to meetings, so I choose not to be. Thank you for being so interested in my life, I would be happy to let you live vicariously through me.

I can even give you direction, in whatever you might ask about too. Whether it is to learn a business process, teach you SQL,,or even give you advice on how to meet women, I bet I can help even the sorriest people.

So you basically have an understanding of Oracle DBs and applications? Are you like a DBA or just somebody who knows how to configure Oracle's software to meet the needs of individual customers?

Glassdoor has you at about 73K.

12 years ago maybe for a person with that experience. That is actually closer to the 3 year of a junior person.

Oracle got rich long ago off of junior people, billing consultants for 200-300 an hour, and then paying the amount you reference or lower.

Also, because major corporations think they need an expensive ERP to run their business. Now it is mandatory.

  3. I'm pretty sure if I went out with my douchey finance acquaintances and started bragging about how I'm making them low 6 figs they'd either laugh in my f@#$ing face or, out of genuine concern, ask me if I needed to borrow money.

And these are the ones who are just turning 30. Not the guys with 20 years in the game.

    Hahaha. Nice one.

You guys are the ones who asked. I never bragged about anything.

I was referring to the fact that low class people call people retards, so it is obvious he is a low income wage earner.

I asked a question. Usually when I ask a question, no one answers. I have never bragged about anything, I have only referenced low class behavior and estimated

You all have made an inference about me "bragging", which I have not done at all, you are just simple minded.

    Really? That little?

I know. Gonna have to get into Project Management and sit in boring meetings.

I like doing the work though.

  4. No you no class dumbass. I didn't ask how long you've been working for your company and at what capacity. I asked you a very specific question that you brought up here first. How much money do you make?

Higher than the ceiling of the post, and lower than what congress makes, depends on the year. Won't know until all the checks are cashed.

  5. Posts in favor of "eradicating" Muslims. Gets offended by name calling.

Man, you people are seriously stupid. I know you cannot just kill a billion people. I know this will never happen. I know you cannot just go and eliminate a cross section of America. It is crazy to go an kill 1.6 billion people.

It is also crazy that a large number of them want to kill you, they abuse women, they mistreat children, they want you dead if you leave Islam, they want gays dead, they want to eradicate Israel, yet they are given a free pass and the media does barely anything to challenge them.

I got some super growth penis pills for you to buy, they will make every women on earth want you, and money trees, you want to buy some, they work.

  6. Generally speaking, I've found that people who actually earn don't feel nearly as compelled to announce it to the world as those who don't.

I don't generally get called out by people in real life. There is a lot of low class people that need to be put in place. I never have to have that conversation because I pick my friends, of all types, races, religions (yes even a Muslim who I know does not want to kill me), sexual orientation, age, just be honest and have good character (and like to drink beer).

I can't pick the people allowed on this site. I can't help that people like you and Greggy follow me around and there are instigators. Those are the people go online to get away from their crappy lives. I am looking for some entertainment.

  7. not only do you assign stereotypes to anyone who disagrees with you, you don't have enough imagination to come up with anything other than calling someone a low wage-earner. if that's your only measure of what defines success, it's no wonder you're so bitter.

Not bitter at all. I am here to try and help people. I am always in a good mood.

He called me a retard. Man, you people are pathetic.

People who do things like that are obviously low class people. Low class people typically are low income wage earners or get lots of government assistance.

  8. Obama's state department about to legalize millions of illegals, but no Visa for an Israeli NBA player?

Seriously, this president is just an absolute joke.

    http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Peace/2014/11/10/State-Department-Refuses-NBA-Visa-Extension-for-Israeli-Hoops-Star-as-Obama-Announces-Doubling-of-Chinese-Student-Visas/

Even as he defiantly moves to unilaterally grant legal status to millions of people inside the U.S. illegally, President Obama's State Department is making sure that such special favors are not meant for everyone. The State Department’s unexplained refusal to extend a valid P1 visa currently held by an Israeli basketball player has prevented the National Basketball Association's (NBA) Indiana Pacers from signing him.

  9. He's dumber than someone who said with a straight face: "that is is (sic) 10000% factual"? Even though it's impossible to be anything more than 100%? It helps to be actually smart if you want to try to claim the intellectual high ground.

But, keep on trying. One day you might achieve a third grade understanding of the world. It's possible, we all believe in you!

Wow, now we have mind readers and and Greggy might even have infinitely reaching web cam installed in his brain, he is somehow able to decipher the looks on people's faces.

Truly amazing, you should market that talent.

  10. I dunno, but it will be interesting to see since I believe that decision is a major window into the thinking for 2015.

EJ will only be the starter next season if they believe he has a better chance of success than Orton. If OBD thinks that's highly unlikely, I don't see how you sit your starter down.

Orton will get his cash regardless.

  11. Do you feel it will help you win your epic struggle with gatorman?

Maybe B-Man will be so kind as to include any information you provide in his "tale of the tape".

Nope, just to make you and the others who earn crappy money feel worse about their crappy and unimportant jobs and to put things in perspective.

I don't personally attack others until I am personally attacked.

  12. If you think the First Amendment is alive and well as it then you prove how stupid you already are in this argument.

People cannot even run a business the way they want to in today's America because of the Liberal pieces of crap.

Might as well try and make sure the Muslims are out of here. You do realize almost all of them really do not recognize anything except Sharia, right? That is is 10000% factual.
