Yep, he did. We'll see what happens from here. I'm still of the opinion that it is not as big of an issue to most fans and the team as you want to make it out to be. Just my opinion. As I said, we'll see.

I think you are right about it not being as big of an issue to most fans and the team.

It only becomes more of an issue if Beasley starts running his fingers or running his mouth in public again.      And it could also be an issue if the booing at the stadium gains momentum (probably won't happen) to the point where it affects the attitudes of the rest of the players.    Worst case (again unlikely) is that it could cause some other emotional players to want to "take sides" thereby becoming pissed off at Beasley (locker room issues) or mad at the fans.

This is why the whole thing is an immense fubar by Beasley.   No upside.   Only potential downside for him and the rest of the team.

Red Forman would call him a jackass.

  2. I make an effort to maintain contact and visit with the core group of close friends from my youth.   Some more frequent than others, but rarely more than a month goes by without having some kind of contact with one of them (out of a handful).  We go out for drinks, get together for family parties, get together for holidays, go hunting together, go on fishing trips, go camping together, take vacations together, etc.

We have been there for each other at our weddings, when kids and now grandkids are born - and also as we have lost family members.

For me personally, maintaining deep lifelong relationships has been one of the things that has made life great so far and truly worth cherishing.

I intend to keep doing it as long as we live and I'll be there for them and their families when we start dropping dead from the diseases of old age.

    https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2017/04/over-nearly-80-years-harvard-study-has-been-showing-how-to-live-a-healthy-and-happy-life/

"Close relationships, more than money or fame, are what keep people happy throughout their lives, the study revealed. Those ties protect people from life’s discontents, help to delay mental and physical decline, and are better predictors of long and happy lives than social class, IQ, or even genes. That finding proved true across the board among both the Harvard men and the inner-city participants."

  3. Maybe they should make it a penalty when the receiver gets up and makes a motion for a flag to be thrown.     It happens so often it is crying wolf and it likely makes the refs second guess themselves all the time.     We have all seen situations where there should be no penalty called, but the receiver makes the flag motion, the fans boo and 4 seconds later out comes the flag for pass interference.

Should be unsportsmanlike conduct on the receiver.

Let the refs call it.   Weed out the refs who suck at calling obvious ones.

I think Beasley is a grade A moron for his Covid takes. But when he is on the field I root for him and no one should boo him for that. Beasley isn't that influential of a public figure nor is he setting public policy. Just let him move on and live with his idiocy.

His antivax fans have been putting signs up in their yards that say "Beasley for Governor" - just like the Allen/Diggs 2020 signs.      Look for them.   You'll see them around.

So, I wonder what's going to happen during the next home game.

You know darn well that Beasley's whining is only going to embolden the "booers" in the stands.

What's he going to do then?

It's could turn into a vicious cycle with only Beasley to blame for it.

If the Bills find a way to win the next two games, perhaps the fans will be too high to bother booing Beasley when the Dolphins come to town.

If the Bills lose the next two, it will make people want to boo something or someone.   Beasley will be the target.    Heck he might even get a certain type of sex toy thrown at him. 🤣

Beasley has a deep seated, persecution complex. There are Mental Health services available, for that.

    Napoleon complex?

  6. I want a decisive victory and dominance on both sides of the ball.     If the Bills want to be the best they have to be the best.    The opportunity to beat the best in the AFC is this weekend.    I want to see Spencer Brown steamrolling people with Moss and Singletary charging behind him.   I want to see the Bills take whatever is available in the passing game whether that means short passes in the slot, tight end drags or whatever.    I want to see Josh connect with his opportunities in the deep passing game when they are there to be had.    And please let me see the pass rush harassing and disrupting Mahomes all night.   Go Bills!

Then he clarified and said the fans sitting near the sidelines/bench.

Again, I'm just pointing out I'd didn't feel called out by that comment.  Because I'm supporting him.

Maybe you feel called out, because you don't?  I don't need a response, just worth considering.

Beasley is an idiot for not choosing his words more carefully.    He chose to say Bills fans.

He could have just said a couple idiots in the stands were heckling me about not being vaccinated (if that is in fact what happened).

Actually he is an idiot for even Tweeting at all - realizing there is no upside to doing so and only possible downside.

He should have stuck to his decision to not post on Twitter again as a respectful gesture to his teammates.

This man creates his own grief.    He is a masochist.

And just when the whole Covid thing is beginning to die down and less people than ever cared about his vaccination status or anyone else's for that matter - he has to go stir the pot and make a public stink.   Its almost as if he is afraid of not getting enough attention.

JC, this dumb@zz is such a drama queen who clearly loves the attention he's getting.  All this dumb@zz had to do back in training camp is say, "I believe medical decisions should be left up to the individual.  I have chosen not to receive the COVID vaccine at this time.  I want to thank the Buffalo Bills and the NFL for respecting each player's decision on this issue.  This is the last comment I will make regarding my vaccination status.  I can't wait to kickoff the regular season and help lead this team to the Super Bowl."

It could definitely be Tourette’s syndrome… ticks often get worse in high stress situations.  Can’t imagine a more stressful non-life or death situation than being an assistant coach AND Hoodie’s son in Brady’s return game, in what I imagined was the most watched regular season game ever.

Yes, he’s making himself look foolish, but I firmly believe it’s a distraction no matter what the team does. You are underestimating how legendary Beasley would become if the team takes punitive measures. McD doesn’t want that type of media attention.

Legendary in his mind maybe 😂  and maybe amongst a handful of nutcases who think the guy is some political hero for his stance against "the man".

Then as soon as people hear his rap song, they will be like -"oh.....I get it now.....super deuchebag..."

He has LAMP issues.   As you can tell from reading this board, that won't go over well with fans.

I think he is a good football player who should shut up and do what he is good at.    And he should come out and say "Sorry guys - when I mentioned the Bills fanbase I was just complaining about a couple of idiots who were being idiots - not the entire fanbase.   In my experience here Bills fans rule!"   or something to that extent.   Then delete his Twitter account.

That’s true, but then the Bills become front page news, talk radio, and social media sensations for all the wrong reasons. I’m not convinced the NFLPA wouldn’t step in, because Beasley could claim he’s being targeted for his beliefs. That’s why I see this as being such a bad spot for the team. Beasley has the upper hand imo.

I think Beasley has the exact opposite of "the upper hand".   He is making himself look like a fool.    The majority of the public will side against him.   The coach will have full authority from anyone that matters as to what to do about it.   That doesn't mean the coach will do anything.   Just speculation.

What are you talking about. Maybe there was a few boos, or he thought he heard a few boos. The home fan base was NOT booing him, Sheesh, if all it takes is a couple of boos to mess with a player's head, there is something wrong with the player, not the fan base.

    Yeah.   I agree with you.

The problem is how he reacted which you can tell by reading the posts here.     He is losing supporters and fans rapidly - and now some people who would have cheered for him before will now want to intentionally boo him.

If this story gains momentum (maybe it does, maybe it doesn't) and you have a fanbase booing when their team comes out of the tunnel, then what is the coach going to do?     Is he going to sit on his hands and hope for the best?   Is he going to make a move to keep that from happening?    I don't know.   Just speculating on what could happen if the story keeps gaining momentum.     Seems to me like Beasley is putting McDermott between a rock and a hard place with his tweeting.   I think Beasley will discover that his need to post emotional stuff on Twitter is like a drug addiction that carries negative consequences.     But he already knew that before posting.

That’s where the team is in a pickle. If you silence Bease, he becomes a martyr and hero to millions, while doing nothing to free the team of distractions, because it would create more of them. I’m not weighting in politically. I’ve got plenty of friends who feel the same as Beasley, but I don’t like that he’s using his upper hand to act like a fool.

They could choose to "not dress him" for home games.    The last thing you want is your home fan base booing the team as it comes out of the tunnel.   Bad vibe for the entire team even if the booing is focused on one specific player.

He could be banned from the stadium on game day because of his poor decisions regarding social media.

So instead of admitting his mistake he’s saying a few drunks picked on him, and that justifies calling out the whole fandom?!

No doubt.   And when Cole said "Some are.  Then I got some right behind the bench"     what he probably really meant was that "One time there was this one guy who said........"

If there was a group of people doing it loud enough for Beasley to hear, there would have been a group of other Bills fans telling those guys to shut the "F" up. - Bet on it.

So based on "Stay off Social Media" Boy's Tweets.  I am guessing some drunks upset him on the sideline, he had some interaction with them during the game and McD didnt like that.  Hence the ass chewing.  and Hence the need for "Stay of Social Media" Boy to take to Social Media and give his excuse, same things happened in Dallas. #JustSaying

Way to invent a story.   lol😆
