This is not a good development. Hard to see him staying at this point. Bills know what he is looking for , they were not willing to meet him . Some team will meet the price teams lose their minds on the first few days of free agency. We will see how the entire free agent period plays out but there was money to pay this player and as of yet they have not

Petty has a legit arm, is mobile and accurate. that puts him one up on E.j. Can he learn to read defense and work under center ? Nobody can answer that right now. Would I spend a 2nd rounder on him , all things considered , YES
I have to think they sign Hughes and buy a tight end and a guard so lets start taking some shots at qb.
Mayock has him as his third qb which is a good indicator he wouldn't make it past the early third and I think that would be pushing.

He then spends the next 2 days taking about his only topic the dumping of the season by the sabers . Yeah Mike the guy passing through will be riveted. As if you should even care.
As for rerunning interviews , to me it smells of laziness, not of wow this was a great interview let's replay it

My biggest long term issue with E.j is that he has never been an accurate passer. I don't know if that gets fixed. I can see him improving on reading defenses ect but he needs to hit open receivers

Dt or Nt is something that will be addressed. My guess is a solid vet in free agency

I am seeing some predict 12 million a year for him . I don't know if I would do that. I was hoping for 5/40-45
I also am not sure if the money wouldn't be better spent on a cheaper option on the Edge and spent the rest of a good nt. I want Rex to have quality players to run the whole tool box .
