I love the fact that we are disputing what is considered upstate and downstate. I live in Florida and when I tell people I am from NY originally I make sure they know I do not mean anywhere near the city. In my mind Westchester is down state but does it really matter?

Williams ran well but we don't know how well he picks up blitzes or if he can catch out of the backfield. I think our " running" game will be mostly short passes out in the flat to slow the Ravens pass rush

I don't know, but when it happened, it occurred to me that Josh is the best hard count specialist we've had since ... EJ. 🙂
You have to admit EJ was a special talent that way- Josh has a way to go to catch him there

Mina Kimes loves him now.
If she admitted her mistake give her credit- too many of these fools stick to dumb ideas to just not admit mistakes.

A TD makes it a 2 score game. Maybe the third down call was wrong, but going for it on fourth wasn't.
Score and it is 17-7, they kick & Bills probably are at the 25 or better with still 1:55 to get it to 17-10 or 17-14.
They miss on 4th and the Bills need to go 96 yards!!!!
The Colts could have gotten another 3 & out and are pretty much in FG position with a 45 yard net punt.
Josh made play after play (a lucky 4th down penalty) and a play overturned (very much the right call).
Like playing KC, you win with td's, not FG's.
Hindsight is 20/20..... But it was not a bad call.
Oh and it would have been an all time catch if Indy did score a TD as it was no where near catchable.
I said it elsewhere that I think that call was heavily influenced on Josh Allen being our QB and the thought we would score 30 on the day even if we had not started doing much yet.

I think a lot has to do with the team you are playing. You can scheme around any individual otherwise but I think a true dominating person like Ted Washington truly helps at all level of defense regardless of offensive scheme.

inexcusable bad call by the refs.
It is unexcusable for Al Riveron, that was a bang bang play and the on field guys need to be given a little leeway, Riveron has slow mo and he was clearly wrong after taking 6 minutes

I have not rewatched the game but I think the entire difference in game is Josh is that much better than everyone else on field yesterday. I doubt Reich goes for td in first half against a team with someone less than Josh and his first TD is an only Josh kind of moment.

Last year wasting 8-plays on Frank Gore.
Beasley said he was fine in the postgame comments.Beasley is a tough dude- unless it is a limb ripped off I am pretty sure he will say he is fine.

I knew the Colts were good but I thought we would get pressure on Rivers and did not realize how good Taylor is as a power back when needed. We are lucky to win today against a quality opponent.

Riveron got one right- who would have thought possible?

I have been in Austin since 1991...I know the lay of the land pretty well by now.
I would believe you except you are on here so you are rather suspect😃

Only if Moss or Singletary are injured.

So, planning for the Super Bowl... been craving good Buffalo pizza for a while. Haven't been home for over a year now, it's killing me. I was thinking of splurging this year to get pizza delivered from either La Nova or Bocce, delivered to me in Texas.
I know both are beloved...growing up there, Bocce was not a big part of my pizza life, but I have had it a handful of times in the ensuing years, on visits back. Delicious.
I always loved La Nova, but the one other time I did this (probably 7 or 8 years ago) it was good... but not as good as I wanted it to be, for the price. I still love their pizza when I go home...but having it delivered across country just wasn't the same. At the time, they were the only ones I know that offered this kind of service. Now, I see Bocce does as well.
Anyone had them both delivered across country? Which was better?
Also, never had wings from Bocce. Are they good? I had La Nova's delivered, and they were great. I know both places make great pizza, but asking more specifically about the nation-wide delivery.
Where in Texas are you? You might get some good advice from the locals.

Getting the naming rights to an older stadium doesn't have the value as the newer stadiums. In Buffalo, most people will always call it Ralph Wilson or Rich stadium. Miami's stadium is another good example. Most people call it Joe Robbie. In fact Miami's stadium has went through so many naming deals it is practically a joke.
Brand new stadiums that start out with their sponser are easier to remember. For example, Mercedes Benz in Atlanta.
I had never realized how true this is, I still call it Joe Robbie, Denver Mile High, and called San Diego Jack Murphy until the end.

I would prefer the WFT smoke him. Get him off the field ASAP. The Bucs had 9 games against the bottom 12 teams in the league and only won 11 so I doubt they make much of a run.

As of this week Josh passed Mahomes on some boards in Vegas but it is Rodgers this year. The fact that he played lesser teams does not change that he has superior numbers in TD passes and interceptions. I think Josh has been better but many people saw his bad weeks and stopped watching.

Yes but they were playing from behind so much so he was throwing a ton and defenses in softer coverage.
I'm not saying he's not good by any stretch... I just think his numbers MAY have been inflated. This is a very similar situation to someone like a Stafford. Great QB, awful organization and talent around him.
Be careful with this line- I was ripped apart for pointing this out in another thread.

That’s really nice of him to attend. Showing New York we are starting to turn the corner.
Politicians need publicity and if he is going to get the 2024 Democratic nomination he can use the visibility.
Gees, people act like he created the pandemic instead of saved lives fighting it
Tibs I can not imagine a world where an honest person with a double digits IQ thinks Cuomo has saved lives after what he did in the nursing homes. NY after being shut down for so long still has 16k more deaths than FL. If you believe the current lock down is saving lives you have no understanding of science.

This is the answer- they are not stars so what is the cost. If they cost 4 million each different conversation but I prefer who we have for 10 million

I implore all parents if you have the option get your child into a classroom setting. Few students are built for constructive learning at home. The gap is Orange County Florida appears to be growing between the have and have nots. We just started a new quarter this week and from the teachers I speak with the richer area schools had a good portion return to face to face while the poorer schools had most of the kids stay home. The gap between the kids will be huge this year and there is nothing I can do about it if I can't get the kid into class

I never let lazy people bother me since they rarely will put in any effort to try. Josh was terrible his first half of rookie year but was loads better second half and then 2019 he was good except a few games.

Probably a dumb question someone could answer for me..
Is this 17th game literally going to be the 17th (last) game of the season, or will they just meld that extra game in teams' schedules and you might play that game any time throughout the season?
It is not set yet but most likely worked throughout season. The NFL likes having the division games at endo of year

That will be the neighborhood. The question is will he take some kind of discount like Mahomes did.
I know NFL contracts are not all that they are written but I do not see a discount, though I realize it is cap friendly until year 6. Also the interesting thing to me is that if KC cuts him they will have already guaranteed his next two seasons of pay.

If Tua is fully healed from his surgery he will not likely be a great NFL qb because he needs to load up to get it 40 yards. You don't have to be Josh but he is currently in the lower half of arm strength for sure
