  1. Hi Bill, Mostly I agree with your post, but did you notice that Wood seems to be an upgrade at center.

Wrotto is improving. Maybe we havr a good start at an "O" line.

    1) Fitz might not have had his best statistical game yesterday, but a couple of those throws were the nicest I have ever seen him make. This would include both touchdowns, and a particular sideline pattern to Nelson.

    2) He doesn't show up on the game stat sheet, but I saw Troup penetrating, and we really must hope that he develops more as the season closes.

    3) I think that this game brought us closer to the realization that the OT position is hurting. I know, Bell was hurt last year, he is green, etc. But, the sack that he gave up to Misi (who admittedly looks like a monster), almost got Fitzy killed. And, there was a lack of running room all day.

    4) It is official. I am a fan of Reggie Corner. Random statement? Sure, but he does what is asked of him. I freaked out when he was drafted (the position AND name), but he is a contributor.

    5) It's tough to write this because I like the guy SO much, but I'm getting just a bit concerned with Moorman.

    6) Whitner made 2 nice plays in a row just before the half. It was also good to see him on a blitz package. Then again, that was a sweet pick by Wilson, ya know?

    7) Kyle Williams, from what I could see, was being double teamed for most of the game but he still made plays. He caught Ricky Williams by surprise on that screen and really banged him out! He knew exactly where that play was going, ran to the perfect place and put a monster hit on a very strong back. That was freaking awesome.

    8) Carrington is obviously a player who is listening to his coaches. He played well and that blocked pass was huge. How great is it to see the young defenders contribute? Carrington and Troup were brought along slowly, but it is starting to pay off. The Bills are a different team in 2011 if these guys turn out to be good players.

    9) There is nothing at all not to like about David Nelson. And, it really is great to have a tall receiver with long arms.

    10) Btw, I give Florence quite a bit of slack for the receptions he gave up to Brandon Marshall. The coverage wasn't so bad, and I have not really seen enough of Marshall to know just how good he is.

    11) A big time shout out to Arthur Moats! He was literally all over the field, in addition to his 1.5 sacks.

    12) Count me as sold on this coaching staff. The difference between this game and a Jauron win was the fact that this team went after their opponent and came away victorious, as opposed to laying back and waiting for a weak team to make a mistake.

    13) Football depression? Mascochism? Self loathing perhaps? NOT this week. :D:)

    14) GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. I can't figure it out either.he is so vacuous that I even forgot about him.

I can't believe MoDOPE still has a job? Is Ralph senile???

Blurb from R D&C article sums it up:

Here's the Bills' first-round draft pick report from Sunday. 2004, Lee Evans: Invisible as usual, until the game was out of reach; 2006, John McCargo: played for the first time all season and made a tackle; 2006, Donte Whitner: Played OK, made a pick but also drew a 15-yard personal foul penalty; 2007, Marshawn Lynch: Not on roster, traded to Seattle and playing lousy there; 2008, Leodis McKelvin, played the worst game of his undistinguished career; 2009, Aaron Maybin: Hey, he was active. 2009, Eric Wood: Injured and didn't play; 2010, C.J. Spiller: 14 touches, 102 yards including returns. Way to go, Tom Modrak, good job.'

Except for Wood and CJ its a total mindboggling discrace! Most fans on this board could have picked better by just picking up a Pro Football Weekly magazine!

  3. .

"Why have there been sooo many injuries? It seems like this has been a problem for this team over the past few seasons. It goes beyond guys that don't want to play hurt...because they are on a bad team.

Maybe they need to take a close look at conditioning???"

Im have been pondering the same Thought.

Maybe Jaron was too easy on them in practice.

  4. Roscoe reminds me of something Wade Phillips oncde said, " we have a punt catcher"

Sit Parish DOWN! and dump him asap. He is not trying at all.

By the way wasn't Wade our last winning coach?

Imagine he did it without wearing a head set.

    GO BILLS!!

  5. It's finally nice to see T.O. and the Bills playing better again, but it's very obvious that T.O. was purposely playing like crap to either get Edwards out or both Edwards & Jauron out. Look at his stats in the first 9 games: 366 yards, 1 TD (rec) 1 TD (rush) and led the league in dropped balls. Now look at the last 2 games: 293 yards and 2 TD's, did he even drop a ball in those 2 games? (not sure, but I'd say no). In Edwards' last game, the last 2 passes Edwards threw to T.O., he ran half-azzed and barely made an attempt to catch the ball. So if T.O. doesn't get his way and the people he wants in there, he's not gonna give 100%, more like 40-50% at best.

Conspiracy theory or truth? Your thoughts...

    I hope your wrong!

  6. My first game at Orchard park was about 1975. I joined a group feom Corning, NY on a bus and beer tour.We stayed over night at the hotel where thr Pats were staying. I was measuring myself against the Pats corner and safety in the elevator. These guys were smaller than me! When I walked up to their linemen in the lobby and I came back down to earth. It was aqn un-seasonablely warm day for November. The Bills won, Therer were fights all over the stands and I had a wonderful day. WE got back to the Bus and started to leave. While our bus was in line to leave, we looked outside and a guy Punched another guy. Then other guy came up withy a knife. Their friends seperated them and our bus left the parking lot. We came to an intersection and there was an abandid car at the intersection. Two guys were duking it out in the intersection. I said to my self MAN, I want to be a part of this. The mnext season I bought seasons tickets.

    GO BILLS!!!

    9) Who would you rather have on your team, Leodis McKelvin or Drayton Florence? Be honest. I really hope to get some responses to this question.

I think Mc Kelvin is abuot as good as Florence, he runs back kickoffs and has better futre potential.

You got your "thoughts" in early. I always enjoy them.
