Most brain dead president ever, just a stupid idiot https://www.cnbc.com/2025/04/05/trump-tariffs-live-updates-global-trade-reacts.html A group of tech and finance leaders is heading to President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort to “talk common sense” about his sweeping tariffs, several sources told tech journalist Kara Swisher. Elon Musk took aim at Trump trade advisor Peter Navarro, disparaging his qualifications in a post on X: “A PhD in Econ from Harvard is a bad thing, not a good thing.” Navarro downplayed the sharp market sell-off triggered by Trump’s aggressive tariff rollout, vowing Dow will hit 50,000 during the president’s term.

Is it just a big insider trade? Trump destroys market and when it hits a certain low he surrenders after he and his minions have bought up billions in stocks?

WSJ: • A bigger Washington swamp. Tariffs impose costs that businesses will want to avoid. They will thus be a windfall for Beltway lobbyists as companies and countries seek exemptions from this or that border tax. Mr. Trump is saying there will be no tariff exemptions. But watch that promise vanish as politicians, including Mr. Trump, see exemptions as a way to leverage campaign contributions from business. Liberation Day is Buy Another Yacht Day for the swamp. -

we have a very stupid president https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/rcna198729 WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump said he was “very angry” and “pissed off” when Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized the credibility of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s leadership, adding that the comments were “not going in the right location.” Agence France-Presse reported that Putin on Friday called for a transitional government to be put in place in Ukraine, which could effectively push out Zelenskyy. “If Russia and I are unable to make a deal on stopping the bloodshed in Ukraine, and if I think it was Russia’s fault — which it might not be — but if I think it was Russia’s fault, I am going to put secondary tariffs on oil, on all oil coming out of Russia,” Trump said in an early-morning phone call with NBC News on Sunday. “That would be that if you buy oil from Russia, you can’t do business in the United States,” Trump said. “There will be a 25% tariff on all oil, a 25- to 50-point tariff on all oil.” The president’s comments come after he had previously criticized Zelenskyy, saying he was “sick” of his handling of the war and falsely calling him a dictator.
