Nobody on the roster is 100% at the moment. Nature of the game. But if Byrd isn't comfortable at 99. 651% in his left foot and 98.715% in his right foot, who are we and the rest of his teammates to judge?

This is the one that stands out. Not just a ton of losses, but a ton of really bad losses. That is a horrible division.

Blls will either have the pick of the litter b.c everyone in front of them will grab a QB, or the Bills will be able to trade down to the highest bidder (Browns) so they can grab a QB.

Corrected. If we had an OC with more experience coming up the ranks rather than tagging along with HC they could overcome this obstacle. The OC is trying to drive RB as a truck rather than a Ferarri. The coaching staff should be looking for an offense consultant.
You have to start somewhere... No coach ever started with NFL coaching experience when they first start coaching. Bills are a perfect team for this first time coach.

When was the last time people talked about how dominant a team's secondary is and how it really bails out their soft front 7? Never? Yeah me neither. You build from the front.
Actually just last week with Seahawks. They were talking about the pressure they can get up front b.c of the coverage in the secondary.

paying a stud like Levitre $7.8 million/year is money well spent. he makes your running AND passing game better.

Yes, any teams 5th CB is probably a liability out there. Combine it with a lack of pass rush and you get yesterdays game. Most folks hate drafting a DB high because we've not had difference makers on the DL or OL for years and they make a bigger impact on the game. It is much harder to find big guys that can move than smaller guys so the 1st round is usually where you must get that stud DT, DE, or OL. No way we win that game yesterday with even our best CB's if Geno has all day back there like he did. Any NFL QB will find an open WR if given time with today's passing rules. You want your best CB's out there, but if you don't pressure and lose the LOS, you will still get beat. All the good GM's say you build from the inside out meaning the lines. No one would have a problem with a first round DB if you've got elite players in the trenches.
Just to enlighten you the pass rush can only happen when the WRs are covered. One takes care of the other.

You know i want to disagree with you, i do. But Hackett has left me no way to do so.
The only positive coming from CJ being banged up, is Hackett will be forced to not use him in any type of power running scheme.
CJ did well between the tackles last year. So I don't blame Hackett for think he would be able to do it again.

Carolina lost 3 defensive players against the Bills. Didn't stop them from crushing the Giants. Next man up and the Coaching needs to find ways to adapt.

I don't care about other teams 1 year struggles. The Bills have been struggling forever. They're allowed to struggle every now and then b.c they always right the ship.

I wouldn't go quite that far. But good RB's can be had in later rounds (Eddie Lacy, etc.). There is still a difference between someone like Lynch, Spiller, and A. Peterson and Felix Jones, so they are not a "dime a dozen" or simply interchangeable, but you def. need a good O-line, QB, and pass rush before investing a 1st rounder in a RB.
Yea in today's draft it is... But everyone knew this which is why the RBs went later this year.

Colon Brown gave up about 6 sacks and probably closer to 20 hurries, pressures and knockdowns.
So like I'm thinking even if Levitre halves that. You know the Bills have a much better chance of converting those FGs to TDS.

That's when coaching comes into play. Screens, line him up as a wr, direct snap, the freaking wildcat. The point is switch the damn play. This is not tecmo bowl. We have more than 2 running plays...
Ps. You cant compare the two. It's like Reggie Bush. He's explosive in space. RB like Cj are not power backs.
I only can't compare them b.c you don't want me to. Don't you think they have a reason they are not doing screens? Just like the reason they weren't going down field but you wanted them to throw it and look how that turned out.

Running the same play over and over like Cj is a true power back makes no sense. It's laughable. How does our o coordinator not know this???????
I can watch McCoy run the same plays no problem. Spiller is back to happy feet if you watch him play.
