then what were you suspicious of?

it just seems overwhelmingly simple to assume that this was coworkers happy about a successful call, not celebrating a bronco td

I was trying to give it like a conspiracy feel! Just to get everyone going, seeing some people have been saying how the refs play a part in the loss. Apparently sarcasm is a crime here!

with quotes about how you didnt think it could be crazier, you certainly gave the impression that you thought the secret was finally cracked.

So you don't see two refs fist bumping after a bunch of bad calls Crazy? I said it was crazy ( and it is!), I didn't say that this was because they were paying the refs.

I think they may hvae been congratulating each other for the good communication or simultaneous call as the article alludes to. I can believe it was not a conspiracy that they were celebrating the success of.

Problem in my eyes is that the refs have to maintain an image much like everyone else on the field. They need to be totally emotionless and especially in a situation like this (a TD), they have to be aware that cameras and eyes will be on them totally. They should not have done anything but signal the TD.

That's what I assume, but seeing how everyone was up and arms about the refs since the game finished I thought I would post this article.

How come EJ gets all the flack for struggling yet Orton seems to get a pass because of Hackett, the OL, WR drops, horrible TEs, etc. EJ had to work with all those things as well and did it with a small amount of experience to fall back on. Hell, he had a worse OL as he didn't have Urbik in there and Henderson was a completely raw rookie who at least now has a half a season's worth of experience.

It's hilarious how people have all kinds of patience for Orton's struggles yet they have none for EJ. This is completely backwards. I have a whole hell of a lot more patience for the young QB learning on the job than for the vet.

And who the hell cares about passing yards, I care about points. And with the exception of the 6 turnover aided Jets' game Orton leading the offense isn't putting up more points than the O led by EJ. Right now I don't mind EJ learning from the sidelines but unless there is a drastic change in the coming weeks from this offense I see no reason not to put him back in later in the year.

This is the same with the CJ vs Brown debate... quick to jump on CJ, but have so much patience for Brown.
