  1. The assistants are under contract thru 2015, but Schwarz, for some reason, thru 2016. The new HC, (if it's not him)might very well want to bring in his own staff. But,if the D is top 5, and the Teams are above average, why mess with success? It would be unusual, but how about a top notch HC and OC and new offensive assistants.,and keep the defensive and special teams coaches? Bills finally have the opportunity, and resources, to invest in a proven HC.

  2. "Dropped further back in the draft order"? Who cares? Bills don't have a first round pick, anyway. These coaches and players are professionals, and the goal is to develop a winning culture. You do that by actually WINNING. There would have been no value in putting Manual out there.

  3. it would be unusual to fire just the offensive staff and keep the defensive coaches. Incoming head coaches pick their own staff and i dont know if a candidate would go for that scenario. Speaking of coaches..Are their proven coaches who will be available? Who do you think would come here, and how much is pegual willing to pay?

  4. of course , when people want to spend Terry's money, they seem to forget about the salary cap .Doesnt really matter how much money you have if there is limit to how much you can spend on players. if you try to re-sign the "Fantastic Four (Mario W , Marcell Dareaus, Kyle W and Jerry Hughes ), keep Spiller?..what if Orton exercises his option?

  5. I browsed the responses didnt see this mentioned...it's one thing to spend money on a QB...but who do you cut , or NOT sign, in order to afford a QB? Would the Bills be better off improving the O line, maybe TE? Orton has an option to leave, might need TWO QB's...what about Dareus (possible suspension?need to replace him ,at least temporarily?),Spiller,Hughes,et.al It's not as simple as deciding which QB you want.

  6. Another way of looking at it...perhaps Marrone already has a good idea of what Williams and Woods can do and he wants to be sure about the other WR's (Graham and Hogan) and OL (getting playing time for Legursky and "Cujo",since Hairston and Glenn are not 100%.On game days, might only dress 7 OL and they have to be versatile.

    Seeing what we've got,maybe showcasing?

  7. Keep in m ind the practice squad, injuries, suspensions and special teams when assembling a roster.

I personally hate the idea of 2 kickers, Doubt there will be 2 fullbacks, and Summers has ST value.

Could keep as many as 7 WR"s if Graham shows enough, because several of them ,again, play ST and the Bills are looking to improve there.

Wouldnt mind (assuming Pears and Hairston are healthy and stick around)Bills keeping Legursky, Hairston and Kuandjoe(sp?) as the 3 OL reserves, a couple of the young OL "hidden" on the PS.

Would they keep 4 TE's if Moeaki and Gragg both look good?

Looking forward to camp, will try to get there this week

  8. Doesn't the "spend to cap' rule kick in this year, or something like 99%? I hope Golisano:

    *keeps the Bills in WNY

*gets a new, efficient ,economical,multi-use,domed stadium (or re-builds the Rlph to modernize and improve it)

*if it is at current site, improve access and parking

*invest in coaching staff, get the best staff possible, improve amenities, make players WANT to come to Buffalo
