  1. Don't know the premise for posting those lyrics other than it's a great song. If you're referring to GW than I might agree with you. But if you're posting this directed at McCain I think its another foolish post of yours. How exactly was he a 'fortunate son'? Because when he was captured he leveraged his fathers position into an early release? Or is it because he held his son out of serving in the INFANTRY as a Marine so he could be a desk jockey and not have to fight in Iraq? I'm not sure. Can you check Daily Kooks or The Huffington Post and let me know?
  2. There's WAR in ANWAR...Therefore he's against it. He's a deep thinker.
  3. Wouldn't he be "The Muslim Jumping Bean"? At least according to VA.
  4. Backing up one ignorant statement with another...nice. WTF are you talking about? Do you even know or are you just pecking away to try to save face? This post makes no sense just like the one you were called out on. Are you making a comparison of Grant to McCain? On what basis? And how the phuck is this relevant?
  5. Well, we won't have to worry about them counterfeiting our money anymore the way things are going these days...Just sayin'
  6. I'm just glad we've finally moved on to the real issues. Now, once they finally answer the question of who prefers boxers or briefs pbills will be able to finally make his decision on who to vote for.
  7. I agree with what Swede posted above. I'll also add that I'm not just considering JM's service or how he acted while a POW. Overall the man has led a decent life and raised a family who, to me, embodies an 'All American' family. It has been mentioned that he has children who are serving in the military. Don't you think he understands the cost and risk of committing us to war? Not just from the time he served, but also as a parent? I don't know how you can rationalize that away as being unqualified. Also, I never said or implied that military service is untouchable when considering a leader. Don't we have enough Lawyers in Government now?
  8. Here's a good article on McCain's character. Granted it was written by a Republican, I dare anyone to challenge the facts it contains. You might consider his refusal to pimp out his family as 'change'. That's how I see it... http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?pag...d=1214492529435
  9. They may not be for you Crayonz...I heard they invest most of their money in Canadian companies!
  10. I'm a bit late to the party, but what an awesome video!
  11. Update- He recently did the right (and smart) thing by disavowing Gen. Clark's comments. Good for him! Seriously. While I don't like his ideas, he is running a very smart campaign. The best thing he can do is steer clear of Clark.
  12. That's my point. If the Messiah is smart, he should come out and publicly disavow those types of smears. I personally don't care if he does or not. In fact, as I mentioned, I do not think this is a winner for him. I think that McCain's record is well established enough that questioning it will only have a negative effect on The Messiah's campaign. But maybe I'm wrong. I've been wrong before- once.
  13. Did you even read the article? The full Congress wasn't briefed, but key players were. It was only in the first line. So you want the media to scrutinize every Top Secret program we have in the country? Great idea.
  14. What sickens me is that information like this (The Hersh article) leaks out and our media gives away our secrets. It's maddening that there are leakers out there distributing this schit. Covert Ops that sow instability are much preferable to outright war in my mind.
  15. I don't think that getting shot down in and of itself qualifies anyone to be the President. I do think that McCain's actions while in captivity demonstrated his true character in a time of extreme stress. As far as Wesley Clark is concerned, I have no respect for him. He is a media whore who never met a camera he didn't want to make love to. He's developed into a pure politician and will sidle up to anyone he thinks will give him a political appointment. In the final analysis though, if Obama is truly the 'change agent' his adoring masses believe him to be, he should do the right thing and silence those in his camp who are attacking JM's service. As I mentioned in another thread, I think The Messiah is running a very effective campaign. But, I think this approach is a loser for him and from a tactical standpoint, if he allows this to continue it will backfire on him. Just my $.02.
  16. I don't think attacking McCain's service is going to win them any points with the general public and if they continue down this road it will backfire on them. If Obama is smart, he will promptly silence those in his camp who are making these ridiculous accusations. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0608/11429.html
  17. I thought for sure everyone would pick up on my sarcasm...!@#$ no that magazine's not conservative. Someone must've sent me a subscription because I started receiving it a few weeks ago. Instead of throwing it straight in the schit can, I give it a casual glance.
  18. Look, I never said I disagreed with the substance of the speech. I think he was on target with it. My and others point was why is He being celebrated for it while other black leaders were berated for saying the same thing a few short years earlier. Two things here from me- First, I fully appreciate and am thrilled that we are at the point in our history where a black man can run for President. No kidding. This is a great day for our country. In fact it proves to me that all affirmative action policies should immediately cease, because he is demonstrates that with the right intelligence and determination, you can be whoever you want to be in this great nation of ours. Second, I think he has done a masterful job running his campaign. I read an article in the Conservative magazine Rolling Stone the other day about how his campaign is being run, and I've got to give him props for it. What I can't stand is his plans and ideas for running our country. The bottom line. He is a Socialist, and as has been discussed without end, he is just another Politician and the only change he'll bring if elected is a swing to the hard left. That is unacceptable to me. The fawning masses of lemmings both in the media and general population who actually believe his schtick and that he is somehow different is what troubles me most. That's why I will do whatever I can to pull down the curtain and expose the Wizard for what he is.
  19. Damn BF...Nice Smackdown! That website is very informative...I learned quite a bit on it. Good Luck convincing Kelly the Fair and Balanced Lefty or his kid brother pbills though. I think they're gone...they've already looked into His eyes. One you do that-it's all over. Oh, shoot! KTFABL is going to report me now for not being fair.
  20. Here's Billy's website... http://www.billysbasement.com/
  21. And then there's this gem here in California: "Also en route to the Senate Appropriations Committee is Assembly Bill 2235. Passed by the Senate Public Safety Committee earlier this week, AB2235 would prohibit the sale of handguns other than "owner-authorized (or “smart”) handguns"-- that is, handguns with a permanent, programmable biometric feature that renders the firearm useless unless activated by the authorized user. No proven, viable handgun of this type has ever been developed. Introduced by Assemblyman Mark DeSaulnier (D-11), AB2235 would require the Attorney General to report to the Governor and Legislature on the availability of owner-authorized handguns. Once the Attorney General finds that these guns are available, only “owner-authorized” handguns could be approved for sale in California." Hmm, why don't we pass a law that, in the interest of stopping Global Warming, bans the sale of automobiles with wheels in favor of water fueled, flying cars? It should be noted that no water powered flying car has been developed yet, but we'll have the Attorney General stand watch for them and when he sees one, he can report to the Legislature, we could ban the ones with wheels. :wallbash:
  22. Mini-Me and a 20 yr. old model...Hmmm Not sure I'd want to see that. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics...f-sex-tape.html
  23. I'm certainly in favor of treating animals humanely, that's a no-brainer. My point for starting this thread is that there is a movement in the US to allow humans (lawyers) to file lawsuits on behalf of animals. If this is allowed to happen, stand by. Just like the Polar Bear as an endangered specie sham. The schit is out of control.
  24. Hold the parents responsible for negligence. Bottom line. How does someone not know how a stolen pistol gets into their house? That is the problem here-someone STOLE a weapon and it was found by a child. Speaking for self, along with gun ownership comes responsibility. My weapons are kept in a gun safe that my kids do not know the combination to. Before touching any weapon they must recite the four safety rule of weapons handling to me...no kidding. I taught them to shoot at a young age. It's just like driving a car. I've been impressing upon my oldest the great responsibility that earning a drivers license entails. Unfortunately for him he won't be getting his permit until at leat the end of next semester because he earned himself an 'F' in Spanish the final semester of the school year. I told him, if he's not responsible enough to earn decent grades, how can I trust him with a greater responsibility? I know this is waaay off topic...sorry.
