The only time Allen was sloppy on "ball security" was the fumble. The pass to Beasley that was intercepted should have been caught or had a flag thrown for pass interference.  The deep shot to Brown that was picked saw Smoke completely confused about what he should do on a scramble drill.  Romo was clear that the pick was on the receiver there.

Dude, we could go all night about this. I love Josh too, just think he needs to play better to get us to the Super Bowl. That’s it.

He had little to no time and his hot route screwed up. But yeah Just protect the ball you bum. Some of people crack me up it's so easy.

    Exactly

That was on him, that’s one play though. A lot of guys on here making it out like he played terrible today but he was far from that. He’s taking heat for mistakes by WRs and gets no credit when they can’t catch the ***** ball.  Oline was terrible today and their play affects Josh’s play. O works as a unit

I agree with all you said, just saying he should know game situations better. Don’t need bombs when we should be dink  and dunking are way down the field late in the game.

Okay.  I'll put on a pair of glasses with lenses as thick as coke bottles:

The Bills are 14 - 3 and have advanced to the Divisional round of the playoffs.

The three losses were by a total of 8 points.

The Bills had the 3rd hardest strength of victory schedule and were a top 3 offense and Defense.

Through 17 games Allen has nearly 5500 total yards and 45 TD's.  Yea he also has 22 TO's but Allen is likely to fluctuate between 40 - 50 TD's and 15 - 20 TO's every season he plays for the Bills.  If you think that's to much say it and argue that the Bills need a change at QB.

I never said that they need a change at QB, all I said is Josh has to play better than he has in order for us to win a Super Bowl. You can at least admit that!

Is everyone around Josh playing well? Two Ints were on the WRs today. There were a couple drops on some really good balls. Two passes in the endzone that were inches away from being TDs.  Miami worked out Oline all day long.  Take away  the Ints that weren’t on him and no one is talking about Josh playing poorly.

So the fumble and scoop and score wasn’t on Josh? Tuck the ball away when your in trouble!! Understand he was blitzed but come on. Ball security in that spot on the field

We’ve won 14 games.  We’re in the Divisional round.  How much better do you want them to be?

its the NFL playoffs... there are no easy wins, despite what we may hope or expect.

Today really should have been an easy win. With the next few teams we will face, will decide how good we are. KC and Cincy aren’t the Dolphins with a rookie third string QB.

Ball security? The sack fumble I wouldn’t put solely on him. The second INT was more on Beasley. Look he’s not last years playoff Josh(yet) but he’s been good. It’s the play calling and drops that have hurt the O more than Josh.

How do you not put that fumble on Josh? He never tucks the ball away. He was lucky that fumble went out of bounds in the first or that would have been a costly turnover AGAIN!

I disagree. He hasn’t been Superman but he is playing well. The examples that I gave would’ve made a big difference on the game

I agree those would have helped but the long passes , when all we needed was to move the chains and keep the clock running,we’re not great Quarterbacking. Also his ball security is very suspect at this time of year!!

Because Dabol is the brains of the Bills offense, and he's gone took Hodgins as soon as he was available.

Should have left McD in KC after his latest postseason meltdown,  13 seconds, and elevated Dabol.

I’ve wondered the exact same thing. Wonder if we kept the wrong guy??

He’s a douche poster. Allen wasn’t stellar but let’s recap:

-Knox drops a TD in his hands

-Shakir drops a 50 yarder in his hands

-Diggs TD called back without review

-oline played badly and yet Dorsey constantly callling deep shots instead of quick slants or runs

    Ya Josh is the problem.
    Air7 should GTFO of here

He is not saying he is the problem, what he is saying is Josh is not plying well enough right now. And we all can see he hasn’t played well since KC. We all hope he gets back to the QB we know he can be.

“Playoff Josh” lasted two games. The guy is an erratic cannon capable of bad decisions and turnovers on any play. Even Bills homers stopped forcing the Mahomes comparisons.

Well said. Could not agree more. He is not even in the same category as Mahomes. Maybe not even Burrow. Too many dumb mistakes. Still hasn’t learned to tuck the ball away when running with it. Learn that in pee wee ball

Josh has regressed.  Running game isn’t used enough and defense gives up to many third and long.  OC or Josh is always looking for HR ball versus dink and dunk  and time killing drives.  See the play calls up 10 11 mins left in fourth quarter two attempts to get Davis deep.

Said exactly this in another thread and got killed for it. I know they’re our team but please take the rose colored glasses off and really look at this team.

You, nor anyone else for that matter, have a clue as to how we will play against the Bengals or whomever next week. We could destroy them. Today’s game is not in any way whatsoever predictive of how the next game will go. It’s that simple. Not to mention that the Bills have won 8 straight games. And you have offered no proof, because none exist, that Josh Allen has quote regressed”. He is winning games. That’s all that matters. And you have offered no proof, because none exist, that Josh Allen has “ regressed”. He is winning games. That’s all that matters.

I don’t have any proof? You can at least admit he hasn’t played well since the KC game, and the turnovers are rookie mistakes especially in the red zone. It frustrates me that he has not reigned that in in his fifth year. I understand we have won 8 straight but the Bengals game was not trending well before Hamlin got hurt.
