  1. Levitre is way more important then Byrd

Byrd is overrated in a lot of fans eyes simply bc he gets interceptions every now and them but overall is nothing special and offers almost nothing in run support

Levitre on the other hand is the Bills best lineman on a team that finally has a decent line after a decade of slop

Dude you are out of your mind, we need Byrd for the 3-4 defense. Levitre can walk will find another interior lieman.

  2. The bills should draft jarvis jones..now will he drop to #8? 99.9% of course not dude is a beast...so the next big thing at Lb should be the ultra talented barkevious mingo...perfect perfect hybrid type player for pittines defense...so if jones is there its a no brainer....if he isnt hopefully mingo is....lets go bills!!!!!!

I agree, Jones is who we should draft if he is there. If not there Dion Jordan from Oregon,or DaMontre Moore from Texas A&M we need a 3-4 linebacker with number 8 pick.

  3. You do whatever it takes to keep Byrd, u need a top safety in Pettines defense(Landry/Reed) for example. Levetre can go bye bye if he wants top tackle money and we draft or Free Agency will provide, never spend that much on an interior lineman. Byrd is a young stud whowill thrive in the new defense. Sign him as quick as u can!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. #8 barkeviuos mingo..Olb (freakish athlete perfect hybrid in pittines defense...plus such a bad azzzz name I mean really.. :D) #41 Khaseem greene Lb..(good player...and well yea bills need linebackers and lots hahahhaha....3rd..Da"rick Rogers WR (first round talent but with off the field issues I see him dropping this far...tall,physical,and fast...good athlete)...rd4..Nico johnson ilb..good pick decent player late in,this draft..

I agree, We need 3-4 linebackers with the #8 pick(Mingo-Jones-Moore-Jordan) please not a reach for a QB. There will be one in the second round(Wilson/Manuel/Barkley/even Nassib) we can pick for the future. The Bray kid from Tennesse is a project with a big arm and big size(6'5) may be able to get him in the third. I just don't want to hear / With the 8th pick the Buffalo Bills select Ryan Nassib. I will have to turn in my 30yr fandom because nothing has changed and we are going nowhere and I can't waste anymore time!!!!!

  5. I have no problem with Nassib in the 2nd.

If we trade down in the first, grab Ogletree and extra 2nd/3rd

    Nassib and 2 LB's and a WR.

    4-7 OL and DB depth

Ogletree just got a DUI this weekend, guys a great talent but way to many charagter issues. We need a 3-4 linebacker now in the first(Jordan/Mingo/Jones) and get a QB for the future in the second. Personally I like the Bray kid from Tennesse big talent needs work though. Marrone has obviously decided to bridge the QB gap with Fitz? If I hear with the 8th pick in the draft the Buffalo Bills select Ryan Nassib, I AM DONE!!!!! I will be picking up my new Browns jersey the next week, i just hope Marrone is smarter than that, we need LB's and WR's in this draft.

  6. I think Drew Stanton would be an excellent pick up, maybe not as the starter if we draft someone the coaches love. He could be a great backup but could possibly be a good starter given the chance. The guy doesent have many mile son him and he has a hell of a gun. Its worth a try to get him.

  7. could very well be that. But his college resume at the time made him a bit of reach.. All it does is back up my feeling that there will be 2-3 1st rd QB's drafted, and many of them have better bodies of work then those drafted in 1st rds years prior

everything would of changed if we took a 1st rd QB.

you're thought process is the nothing has changed mentality. You have it backwards.

the only QB worth taking at #8 is Geno Smith, after that it's dicey. Maybe Barkley. if you tell me Geno Smith is not worth the #8 then I give you a big fat eye roll.

In the same breathe I believe the pickins will be much slimmer when we pick in round 2. Plenty of teams will move on some of the remaining QB's before we get our 2nd round pick

Read Mel kipers article about this years QB draft, he said if Brandon weeden was in this draft he would be the #1 QB drafted. Brandon Weeden!!!!! U still think Geno is worth it, Marrone owned him everytime.

After reading this one would think that Kelsey is a no brainer cut coming. I have no idea if Fitz will restructure, but definitely see why its got to be a priority.

I would think the highest risk guys to get are:

    Kelsey - obviously

McGee - We have young, cheaper, healthier DB talent at way less money.

Brad Smith - Makes a lot for doing a whole lot

Couple of guys with some risk to get cut:

Fred Jackson - I love Fred, but he is up there and CJ is certainly going to be featured and hes taking up sizeable cap space, so I would not be sure he is safe.

Mark Anderson - Not really sure what to think of him here, but he definitely didn't produce at the level as expected, but he takes up a decent amount of cap space. I think he will be safe, especially with Pettine on board here to revamp the D and better utilize the talent on this D.

Hard to decide where to put Fitz because he hurts the cap whether if he is cut or stays by over $10 million. I am guessing he still gets cut if he doesn't restructure so they can at least save the roster bonus.

Ultimately, I would love to see us cut Kelsey, Smith, and McGee and keep Anderson And Freddie. Then cut Fitz, just tear the band aid off and start fresh at QB.

Kelsay, Smith and McGee gone!!!! I can't believe McGee still has a job hes old and always hurt. Unless Fitz will restructre his deal, he needs to be cut. Andersen will have to stay, but I think we will see a different Andersen under Pettine. And this kills me but I have to cut Fred Jackson. he has lost a step or two and he has fumbled last year in crutial spots. I agree with another Bill Backer LETS START FRESH!!!!!

  9. At #8 there is no one QB we should take, at that postion we take Dion Jordan from Oregon. At 6'7 245 the kid is a stud that Williams will take under his wing. The draft is all about the front seven this year. Nassib, Wilson, Manuel, Barkley and even the Tennesse kid Bray will be there in the second. If we waste a #8 pick on a QB this draft nothing has changed from Gaileys regieme and Nix should be fired immediately!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. I agree it is hard to pass him up at 8, but another OLB/DE may still be there. Dion Jordan from Oregon is the one I want to be rushing the QB from the other side of Williams. He is 6'7 245 and lightning around the corner and Williams could take him under his wing. We definately need LB's though I think we will still be able to get our QB for the future in the second round (Bray, Nassib etc.)

  11. I give Shep one more year under Pettine's guidance, though we do need a linebacker or two via draft or Free Agency. I think Mark Andersen will be an OLB in Pettines defense like he was in Bellicheks. Nigel Bradhan is the one lb who will sky rocket in Pettines defense he showed flashes at the end of last year. Sheppard will have one moreyear to prove himself, though he may be out before that.

  12. Keep in mind you aren't drafting defense in the RD you take these, because it matters.

Tyler Bray RD3---------Cordarrelle Patterson RD1, Tennessee
Geno Smith RD1-------Tavon Austin RD2, West Virginia
Mike Glennon RD2,----(TJ Graham, on roster) North Carolina State
Tyler Wilson RD1------Cobi Hamilton RD4, Arkansas
    E.J. Manuel RD2/3-----Rodney Smith RD5, Fla. State
Matt Barkley RD1------Robert Woods RD2, USC
Ryan Nassib RD2/3---Alec Lemon RD6, Syracuse

    Tyler Bray ------ Cordarelle Patterson

  13. I agree that Geno is our best option for QB in this draft. I also agree the Eagles will take him.

If, IF, he lasts through the first 2 picks, then I am all for the Bills trading up with Oakland at #3.

Id be willing to offer Oakland our 2013 1st, 2nd, and 6th, and our 2014 2nd, and 6th (conditional to 4th). Not sure how that works out on the chart, points-wise though.

Are u out of your mind, we need more than a QB to build our team. Oakland just gave away a boat load of picks to Cincinnati and look where they are. Marrone owned West Virginia and Smith everytime. We need a linebacker and then a QB 2nd round.

  14. NOOOOO! Wipe the slate clean and boot this guy! He can't throw a 15yard out and is the worst down field thrower in the game we need to start fresh and clear up some cap room for what we really need LINEBACKERS!!!!!

NOOOOOO! Boot this guy, he can't throw a 15 yard out and is the worst long ball thrower in the game. We need to clear up some cap space for what we really need on the team More LINBACKERS tha can play!!!!!

  15. We need some linebackers despratley!!!! I go after either Kruger or Ellerby from the Ravens, then in the draft address another linebacker (ogletree or Jordan) then go after future QB in the second or trade back up. I think we over estimate how high theses guys are going to go Nassib, Bray, Glennon, Manuel or Wilson will be there in the second round! If we take a QB first round we need to get rid of the whole front office including the coach!!!!!!!!!!!!
