  1. From bleacher report

    POSITIVES

    — Ideal build for the position. Built like a true X receiver.

    — Good agility and explosion for his size.

    — Very good YAC ability. Tough to track and tackle given his blend of size and speed.

    — Great play strength. Bully throughout the route and at the catch point.

    — Elite ball skills. Exceptional ability to track the ball in the air and find it at its highest point.

    NEGATIVES

    — Average deep speed. Has more than enough speed given his size, but not a true burner.

    — Footwork could be more efficient on sharp route breaks. Sometimes takes too many steps to gather himself as a route-runner.

Keon Coleman is reportedly very high football character. He is motivated to do well in the NFL so he can provide for his family. He is definitely a character fit for us. Physically he has the tools that I know Beane would love. And he's young, just about to turn 21 in May.

Ok sounds good to me. I’m more focused on my menu tonight. Excited about all our picks though. Friday is always the best day of the draft. Can’t wait to say ***** the chefs when we take a stud with their 3rd.

Helping KC get better is not good for the Bills.

The only way to keep them from drafting this particular player was to take him themselves. If they didn’t want him and didn’t have a 1st rd grade on him, that would be a terrible strategy. KC was going to get better with whoever they took in the 1st just like every team. Sure another team could have taken worthy in between 29 and 32 but no way to know that given he’s not a consensus 1st rd graded WR and the Bills can’t waste draft value and turn away a free 3rd just bc it’s a rival. If they didn’t go the trade the most likely scenario is the Bills reached on a player at 28 based on their board, the chiefs take worthy at another spot, at 32 or they trade up with someone else and take him there, and the Bills don’t get the 3rd. Seems like a worse option.

I mainly have issue with the trade with the Chiefs more than anything.

I’ll see who we get with their 3rd rd pick and then decide. Gunner didn’t even have a 1st rd grade on Xavier worthy. Neither did Joe Marino. Chiefs would likely have taken him at 32 regardless. Bills clearly didn’t want him at 28. His nfl.com draft profile grade says “might eventually become an average starter” …
