  1. ESPN is having fans vote on the most memorable play in each team's history. The three they came up with for the Bills are a tad disconcerting. The first selection is wide right, which will be followed by the Music City Miracle and Beebe chasing down Leon Lett. It would have been nice if one of the plays was positive. What does everybody here think is the most memorable play in Bills' history?

  2. I'm sure this thread is dead, but I thought it might be fun to play a game. In honor of John Murphy, pick any subject and come up with the easiest question when interviewing someone about said topic. For example if it was fracking, you might ask, "That involves drilling, am I right?"

  3. I've listened to The John Murphy Show a few times since its inception. Each time I've tuned in, I get a little annoyed everytime he conducts an interview. He always asks questions that automatically elicits the guest to agree with him. He had MIke Catalana, the sports director for 13WHAM in Rochester on the other day. One of his questions was, "I'd think the people of Rochester would be pretty happy with a new stadium in Batavia, wouldn't you say?" These kind of softball questions seem to be a part of every interview I catch. A few weeks ago, he asked one of the players (I forgot who) that if they have an improved run defense this year, will it help the defense? I think it might be helpful John. I'm surprised he doesn't ask somebody, "I gotta think that footballs have laces on them. Does that seem right?"

I can tell that John is a very nice man and cares a lot about the Bills, but I wish he would ask a few more thought provoking questions.

  4. This is the title of the story about the Bills on the ESPN NFL homepage. There is a link to "A long, tough winter", along with a photo gallery of the Bills throughout the years. It all left me kind of depressed. I apologize if this is already being discussed.

  5. So the past week has been a little bit depressing. I thought it might lift our spirits to predict some stats for the upcoming season. Obviously, injuries are impossible to predict, but let's assume the gentlemen below stay relatively healthy all season.

    Over/Under

    C.J. Spiller- 1500 yards rushing

    E.J. Manuel- 20 touchdown passes

    Robert Woods- 60 receptions

    KIko Alonso- 110 tackles

    Mario Williams- 11 sacks

Leodis McKelvin- 20 plays where he looks in position on a play and then the pass is still completed

Stevie Johnson- 2 fines for inappropriate touchdown celebrations

Dustin Hopkins- 3 kickoffs out of bounds

Matt Leinart- dresses for 3 games

This last one isn't exactly a stat, but I thought I'd throw it in:

    Wins- 7
