  1. Honestly 6 years in do we really expect this to change?   Maybe accuracy wasn’t all of his issues in college.   I mean his accuracy on those picks was awful but the decision to throw the ball there at all was much worse.

I love this kid and his effort like I loved watching Fred Ex and Fitzy play with all their heart and put everything they had into it but dude come on.    Mental errors are inexcusable.

  2. Liked the Chefs and Bungals losing

the Chargers disappointed me but honestly both of those teams looked like they have glaring issues.

Pats D is decent and will keep them in games.

Get after any QB and they aren’t the same person the media makes them out to be.

Liked the Titans losing…Vrabel could fall in a hole and I’d shovel in on him.

No team looked like world beaters so…. I guess it is still just week one.

Less of a field for the offense to run the clock out with. Kicker misses the FG you have great field position with ~1:30 left in the game. Not a bad gamble IMO.

Yeah hey.  Darned if you do and darned if you don’t.   Just not a lot of guys making plays on O but they were on D.

4th and 25 with that much time and time outs is tough.

  4. Anyone questioning this has never been to the absolute top level of competition in any way shape or form.   I’m not just talking about sports either.   To compete at a level where you and your competition is considered the best of the best and you put everything you humanly have into something and fall short but have the respect…no!   The admiration or your competition because they know their path may not have been as difficult or they didn’t have to work as hard as you to come out on top….yeah that’s that pic.   Tua knew.

The latter.  The players learn to play the sideline starting in PeeWee

The players who play in good college programs and the pros absolutely are the ones who can perform full go athletically while being aware of where they are on the field, where other players are on the field etc.

He was an idiot and you could tell after the game he knew it

I completely agree with you.   Disciplined football is so much more important than most people think and it is all encompassing in every part of the game.   Situational awareness alone would dictate to you that you do not need to hit the QB there.   And he was well out of bounds by the time that contact was made.   That is a classic example of a guy wanting to be bigger than the moment and his team.

A few colleagues, mixed bag of men and women, were group texting and the sentiment of “feeling bad” for #58 was being thrown out.    Thankfully I kept myself from responding to them because the moment that play happened my take was - “WHAT A SELFISH AHOLE!!!!”   As was a few teammates from what is being found on audio from the sideline reports….
