They had to create their own news echo chamber because there wasn’t ever any good news about them. That shows the decay of the party.
Why is it always about the "party"? Why is one party "good" and another party "bad"? You only believe what you want to believe? You seem to lose sight of the issue that most news outlets are shameless shills for the Political Class -- both left and right. They should just come out from behind their transparent curtain and go back to the days when there were "party publications" and let all the other outlets report on the un-slanted facts.

And huge governments overseeing command economies just hasn’t been done right, yet. Let’s keep trying that.
Minimal government has only been rejected by the government itself.

Ha ha, me neither. Such is my fallen interest in anything Sabres related.
As to the lottery, I can’t remember a prospect group like this one. It really doesn’t matter where we pick. You can literally put the top 10 rated prospects in a hat, pull out names one at a time and rank them that way. Regardless, whoever we get and where, it will be a year or two before we see him in a Sabre uniform.
If ever!

WATCH: Harris' team says dealing with the border is not her job and focus is only on 'root causes' of migration
The Post Millennial, by Libby Emmons

Ya know -- that's an odd thing for her to say.
If that were true then why did Biden send the Secretary of State on a Central America trip for the very purpose of sorting out the "root causes" of migration?

Hey, move to Russia where the party in power labels opposition "extremist" and bans the opposition members from holding office. How long before you start calling for this? The Russians suck, until they have good ideas, amirite?

If Toronto wins, do they ask to play the next round in Buffalo? It will be against a US opponent and they won’t be able to quarantine for 14 days between games. Will have to find somewhere in the states to play.
Detroit, please! -
First one that came to my mind was Ronnie Harmon
But then I thought about the Super Bowl 25 3rd and 13 Mark Ingram play. That one still gets to me.

Actually it's a shame so many people tuned out the Sabres once Granato took over. They were fun to watch.
Yes, he fixed the effort problem. Now on to the talent and grit portion.-

You have to use the Jets Conversion Table.
80 people showed up equates to 7 players.

Both parties always revert back to the mean eventually but Trump's brand of politics managed to lose both houses of Congress and the presidency in record time. Now the party wants to double down on "Trumpism" and push for him to run again? His endorsements may work for the midterms just because the party not in power almost always wins but I'd think twice before making him the nominee in 2024.
Agree.
In my best Trump impersonation, he's a loser. Why would anyone want to associate themselves with a loser?

Fair. I just wonder why the Palestinians don’t just go take over some other parcel of desert, or go to Iran whose funneling all those weapons in anyway. Why accept living under Israeli oppression. Most of Israel is barren wasteland anyway.
The Brits created this recent mess in the late ‘40s. I found a timeline that shows Jerusalem has changed hands 50 times in the past few thousand years.
usually people settle somewhere because it has some societal benefit, access to fresh water, fertile land, strategic shipping lanes, access to ground transportation, lumber, sustainable for domesticating animals.
what’s Israel got?
Who knows?
I've often wondered why a whole lot of people cram themselves into living in substandard conditions in NYC when there's a whole lot of better options less than 100 miles away -- or anywhere else for that matter. It ain't religion keeping them here, just like it ain't religion keeping the Palestinians in Gaza.

That’s fallacy. World history is literally eons of migration and settling, resettling. Have you seen footage of our southern border?
You're right, but you're also forgetting about the eons of people staying put, too. You make it out that migration and resettling are the rule, not the exception. Also, how much of that migration is based upon people following their faith to the cradle of their religion? In any event, you asked a question and I answered it. Faith is a factor in why people have settled in Israel and the region, but it isn't the sole factor, and probably isn't the main factor.

The land is of inestimable value.
It is simply impossible to value it without regard to Jewish history.
Sure, but the Jews weren't the only inhabitants. That land could be said about probably a dozen cultures and several religions. And my point is that people practice their faith in all corners of the world. Do Catholics in a Church in Seattle feel less pious than Catholics in Jerusalem, or Vatican City? Would Catholics in Portugal fight for their homes regardless of whether they practice their faith in that location?
People live where they live, and most WANT to live where they live. Faith and history are two factors in dozens, those two factors are not overweighted.
-
What's the value of anyone's homeland?
People live all over the globe, not just the scenic parts or the arable parts or the moderately temperate parts. Also, people practice their respective religions all over the globe -- not just in their particular holy land.
The answer to your question is: who cares, people want to live there, and when that happens, they'll fight to stay there.

Well so to paraphrase my original question that I was asking, besides religious boogie man, does anyone know what the value is of this land?
And I’m not suggesting people go to war over religion as much as I’m suggesting people in power that want to go to war, use religion to recruit their soldiers.

The plaintiff (IE TRUMP) dropped 14 of his own lawsuits. 33 were dismissed by the court. 6 cases went through the court and were ruled against.
So 6 out of 60.

That is accurate.
Trump's voter commission in 2016 also find zero fraud and was disbanded. Also accurate.
The 2016 Voter Commission was dealing with old voting systems, not expanded absentee ballots, etc. I don't see what the 2016 Commission had to do with the 2020 election at all. And, again, if some investigation turns up nothing, then what's the harm?
4 minutes ago, Tiberius said:60 court cases, some with Trump appointed judges. Yup, I'm right. Your side is all lies, misinformation and anti-Americanism.
Most of those cases were dismissed on procedural grounds. Bad lawyering doesn't mean much. How many of those Courts actually allowed testimony and evidence?
...and feel free to tell "The Id of Tiberius" that I don't care if they look into all 50 states, red or blue, because I'm not a "your side" guy.

Both my assertions are true. Trump and Russia were working towards the same ends. And Biden won the election fair and square. You guys are in the wrong. Trump is really bad news. Period
Both my assertions were true. Difference is that I wouldn't mind an examination of how that affected the election results whereas you dismiss it out of hand with lines like "Big Lie" and "Trump Cult". Your assertions were fully investigated, and I thought investigating them was a good idea. See the difference?
I'm not a "You guys". You're playing the game.

No you are wrong. We know. It's been proven. Trump was running around saying "I love Wikkileaks" He signed a deal with Putin, Manafort was on the Russian pay role. But to people who think Trump won the election, didn't incite a riot and tells the truth, what is one more lie? Even if it is about working with and for the Murderer Putin.
So you're still making allegations from "The Big Hoax" five years later.
And you don't want people on the other side to make allegations of "The Big Lie"?
You're playing the game.
You're wasting your time.
And just for the record (1) I was happy to see the "Russia Hoax" investigated, and (2) I do not believe the election was "stolen".
At the same time, why not investigate allegations of either fraud or some other process mistakes? The 2020 election was completely revamped in almost every State over a period of six months because of Covid. I think it was a s**tshow, but still the results were probably in favor of a Biden win.
You think things went perfectly? You think election board employees and volunteers got it 100% right? Don't you want to make sure there were accurate results? Maybe you will find out that only Republicans cheated and it will make your day! You could start a new thread when that happens!

So that's a yes. You believe what you want to believe.
The "echo chamber news that you see in this board" comes from both sides and parties' platforms. How do you quantify "much worse"? You say "alternate reality" but perhaps you mean a less hyperbolic "different viewpoint".
