Bills passing defense currently ranked 18 in league.
Jets will torch the Bills secondary for 300 yards. Wire is the new
Chris Watson and Mcgee isn't much better.
-
Again, the NFL does not keep "dropped pass" records. Other organizations may but that doesn't mean I have to believe them. I think your point is that if Matt Hasselback could do it last season, why couldn't Drew...well didn't Matt have a healthy set of receivers all season? Didn't Drew have a gimpy Moulds and no other viable option? Everybody was bad last season including Drew. Let me ask you something...when does Travis Henry get some of this Bledsoe Bashing anger? Oh that's right, his "s" don't stink. Bench Drew, I saw him tripping Travis Henry! We have a runningback who can't freakin run and people are bashing Drew Bledsoe! It's a sad day when football knowledge takes a back seat here.
I say we need to call "billsfanone" ostrich?

He is a BACKUP, get used to it. I don't recall a ton of teams lining up to get
him when New England was trying to trade him. He is a major problem with
this team and if you think a 28th ranked offense has nothing to do with a poorly
playing QB get off the board or pull your head out.
-
This is not BAs verses SLs. It's smart football minded people verses morons. On the day after this team finally showed some big play offensive ability against the superbowl champions the sniper scope again turns to Bledsoe. Why? Because morons have every right to post their opinions just like the smart minded football people who know the real blame is the mental farts like Wire's and Henry's. I will not sit idely by as Bill's fans try to tear down a player that is actually playing well. Bledsoe's lack of mobility is WAY down the list of why this team is 0-3. I know that requires more thinking than Bledsoe sucks, but nobody said learning why teams lose games was easy.
We will see how great he is when Buffalo funally cuts him loose and another
team picks him up. Someone probably will as a backup, which is what he is now
and was when we traded a # 1 pick to get him: a backup QB who is far over the hill.

He didn't play GREAT ok. He played average, which appears to be great
in comparison to what we normally get from him. Brady played great.

Drew Bledsoe has already surpassed tons of historic marks and he's only 32 years old dude, he is the only reason the Bills DO have a shot at winning some games. He has led a team to the Super Bowl before and he has broken most single season records for the Bills. He needs the proper game plan and O-Line which is put together by Mularkey and Donohoe.
Does the game plan include him not tripping over his own feet, not throwing grounders to the receivers and not missing guys wide open down the field?
-
Are we getting close to the time when you will begin to see people
wearing the brown paper lunch bages over their heads during games.
I may consider this if the current trend keeps up.
-
Donahooo doesn't have the stones to do that. He would have to admit
making a mistake.
-
You are absolutely correct. That last year with Bums' son the team
went 8-8 or 9-7. This team is nowhere NEAR that level. Not close.
-
Did anyone listen to the post game conference by Mularky? Did he mention that the Bills made alot of correctable mistakes? That has been his excuse for the first two games.
If the players keep making the same stupid mistakes game after game, when does it become incorrectable? I heard that same crap from the last coach that was here.
So, did anybody hear his postgame conference?
Yeah, correctable. I want to know how you correct a blown play coming
out of a timeout. How is that correctable?

naked bootleg?
I can't stop visualizing someone picking up a human size replica of the
Statue of Liberty, setting her down in a Radio Flyer wagon we all had as
kids, and pulling that thing by the handle as fast as they could around the
end!
-
We can all rant and scream, we suck, suck, Bledseo sucks, Henry sucks, this, that and the other thing!
However, it all comes down to two main issues.
1. The team doesn't make enough big plays, on either side of the ball.
2. The team makes way too many mistakes:
untimely sacks, dropped passes unconverted 3rd and shorts, penalties, turnovers, etc.
Coaching has to be blamed to some extent. When mistakes keep happening agai and again, the coaching staff isn't doing its job. People can say, but the coach doesn't jump off sides and the coaches don't drop passes but teams with good strong coaches don't makes many of these mistakes because they aren't tolerated.
Fine players when they do stupid things to hurt the team. Cut a player after he screws up. That will send a mesage to the rest of the team.
I'm not blaming MM but he has to step up and prove he was the right coach for this team.
I really want to hear how the mistakes are correctable again. How do you
correct a blown play when coming out of a timeout. Someone please explain
this to me.

Guys, looking at the replay, it doesn't look at all like a naked bootleg. It looks like a lame play-action pass. The way Drew was moving even before he saw the blitzer in his face looks nothing like a bootleg. It would have taken him 5 minutes to get to the first down marker.
RunTheBall
Maybe thats why we drafted WM, so Blitzsoe can turn EITHER way to hand the ball
off or hand to it to whichever running back isn't slipping and falling down?

I swear I heard someone say it was a designed run for the QB. Mould was interviewed and said it was a running play where Henry went the wrong way.
What gives?
-
Brilliant call by TD, drafting a linebacker and converting him to safety.

The good news is Buffalo has the ball.
The bad news is Buffalo has the ball.

2003:
Started the first eight games of the season at left tackle…suffered a hip flexor injury at KC (10/26) and was deactivated the next game at Dal. (11/9) because of it…returned to appear on play in three more games before suffering a toe injury at NYG (11/30)…was placed on injured reserve with the toe injury on 12/3.

Maybe he can play a little more when the ball is in the air.
