You know, I was wondering when people said they missed the food what they meant. There is nothing special about the pizza in Buffalo. You can get good pizza anywhere anymore. You can get good wings almost anywhere now as well. Granted there are more places to get good wings in Buffalo than most places though.

I can see missing the Bills and Sabres games, and the people, and even the weather for some who moved south. But good god not food.

I guess youre right, they do have Papa Johns, Pizza Huts, and Little Ceasars everywhere now...

No doubt on the wings. Pizza? Depends on where live, IMO, Way better than St Augustine, that's for sure. But the best place in the area, is out in the country a way. But it is owned by a family from Buffalo. Easily the best pizza in the area.

I've live in Boston, NYC area, LA area (Manhattan beach was nice enough), San Francisco, St Augustine and spent a few months in Milwaukee. SF is easily my favorite place to be. But after that, it's WNY, (Milwaukee is comparable) I'd move back in a heartbeat if I could (family obligations keep me here).

    Hahaha!!

My family already knows, last wishes? Bocces at my funeral!

  3. Im thinkin, our neighbors to the north, the Toronto Bills fans, put the 12 th man advantage over the top in terms of undying support and enthusiam for the game of football. And of course their passion for the Bills. It should be too much for the 'Phins to overcome. Thank god were marketing to them cuz apperantly wed only have 40,000 ppl there withput them.

Actually, his resume is pretty unreal with consulting economic analysis experience for lots of professional teams. From a free market approach, he was spot on. His analysis can only be based on available info and some assumptions. The lack of access to the trusts marching orders and the unknown pool of potential bidders that included a wealthy homer, lead him to a conclusion that any graduate Econ student would have arrived at considering the stagnant AND aging population since 1970, coupled with a contracted economy and high rates of poverty. Throw in the leagues focus on revenue, Taj Mahal stadiums, and large markets and it was a viable position. And most would have made the same statements. Those outside the ivory tower love it when the ivory tower is wrong but are quiet when it's right, which it is way more often than not.

What the heck kinda economic black magic mumbo jumbo you talkin bout?

    God bless the Bills!
