I read on TheScore that with the charges he's facing, he could be looking at a year in jail. I don't know how a guy who can pretty much get anything he wants keeps screwing up his life over and over.

I watched the same replay too, first time I've seen the game in its entirety. I think the fact that McKellar even caught the ball was a huge waste of time. The waste of 5-6 seconds between the catch and them lining up was not worth the 5 yards it got them. then you add the 5 seconds that was wasted because of the review and that's 10 seconds wasted because of the catch.

The entire game of football is based on players making plays here and there, rarely are there games where one players dominates an entire game. It's a team sport, you need everyone to make plays here and there to win.The acceptance of mediocrity by the fans on this board amazes me. Making a play here and there doesn't prove to me that EJ can succeed...Thad made some plays here and there, can he also succeed?

How can you say the defense was stout when they still couldn't stop the run?
Those games could be flashes in the pan but there's no reason not to believe that his play in those games couldn't become the norm.

I would be ecstatic if the Bills drafted him, I remember watching him tear it up in high school, but I just don't see it, not with the way he worded his second tweet.

We ran a hybrid defense so its not like our defense is no stranger to the 4-3 and its techniques. We have Hughes and Williams, which i believe to be two pretty solid DEs, and I am pretty confident with the our backup DEs, more so than our Linebackers. Our front 7 will be way better in 4-3 than in the 3-4.
And you need your guys to win one on one match-ups in any scheme.

I wouldn't want to give up Hughes for Watkins; that's depleting an already depleted linebacking corp.I could see a potential trade involving Hughes, obviously there is a connection with the head coach...1st, 3rd and Hughes for 4.

Are wide open game winning catches the only impressive thing that a wide receiver can do? If that's the case, a lot of receivers in the league have been under-performing.Stevie had plenty of years to prove himself, aside from his game winning catch vs the Panthers last year his career has been unspectacular.

I would rather have the tough games at the end, the Bills could get hot going into December and you have no idea who will get injured over the course of the season. We could be looking at a Denver team with injured/no Peyton Manning and Von Miller and a Patriots team resting their starters.

I'm thinking maybe it has to do with that new "cross-flex" thingAnyone notice that we have games on FOX against NFC opponents in NFC stadiums? Both the Bears and the Lions are away games and both are on FOX. Usually that'd be CBS.

One would think that an owner would only move a team if the team has a bad fan base and isn't winning. Fortunately, we have one of the best fan bases and the motivation to honor Mr. Wilson by winning for him could fix the losing situation.

Defense.
With the offense still trying to perfect their timing routes and get the playbook down there will be more INTs and incompletions, and with any contact "drawing a play dead," wouldn't that aid the defense? It's basically two hand touch, so it doesn't allow for the receivers and running backs to break any tackles and get any yards after contact, and all you have to do is run by the red shirted QB for it to be considered a sack, so there isn't much of a chance to ground the ball or throw it away.
