  1. Just heard it on ESPN News and its confirmed. Can't wait to see him throw 4 picks at Ralph Wilson Stadium. He has absolutely NO RECEIVERS to throw too.
  2. I was thinking the same exact thing about Thomas. I would not be disappointed with Sweed, Kelly or Hardy
  3. Are yoy okay?? Just commenting on an ESPN Radio rumor. RELAX!
  4. If the Bills could move down in the first round of the draft to still get their targeted WR, I have no problem giving up a 2nd and 4th for Shockey. Moving down in the First Round nets us an additional 3rd rounder which would then give us with (2) Third Round Picks. We would also still have one of our 4th Round Picks. Its a little bit of a gamble with Shockey (injuries/head case) but their is no TE coming out of this years class who can compare to what Shockey can do on the football field and his impact on an offense. At 28, He still has a handful of great seasons ahead of him if he can stay relatively injury free. The only concern the Bills might have is $$$.
  5. I agree, I don't see Albert getting past the Pats unless N.E. goes for one of the top rated corners. I listened to an interview with Howie Long who watched Albert play with his son at UVA and he said the guy is just an unbelievable player who is only going to get better and who is versatile enough to play mutliple postitions on the line at an extremely high level. Even though we need a WR and Corner, I would not be disappointed if we took Albert and found a place to plug him into our line.
  6. If Devin Thomas is their man and who they are targeting, I would love to trade down as long as we don't lose out on Thomas. I'm just not sold on the other WR's when compared to Thomas and his all around potential/strength/speed/size/hands/etc....
  7. sorry, I don't usually post that often. Didn't mean to repeat the topic.
  8. Well, we didn't need a RB with Thurman on board, thats for sure..........but I sure would much rather have drafted Emmitt Smith (who was taken 17th by Dallas) then J. Williams. Its easy to say that no one could have predicted Emmitt's highly successful NFL career but he did put up monster stats at Florida. Heck, who knows, maybe we win both those Super Bowls against Dallas if they don't have their franchise back in the fold. Just specualating as we get ready for the upcoming draft and thought that was kind of cool to look back on. Go Bills!!
  9. Maybe if I didn't have a life and sat on my fat ass all day posting over 10,000 messages on this board...................................
  10. I didn't know I was in a race to post this message. I received a text as well, saw nothing on the board, wrote up a post, and after I send mine, another one is there that is one minute ahead of my post. sh-- happens, I'm sure I won't lose any sleep over it though.
  11. Who said we weren't getting any compensatory picks this year. This could be a stellar draft for the Bills, especially if they do a little moving up and down at different points in the draft to get key players and fill our needs.
  12. P.S. Its funny how people like you aspire to be message board moderators when all you do is exchange insults with people and I'm not just talking about me. Since you wanted to get involved with message board history, I've noticed that you do this with many people. I can see why when your so miserable and lonely and have to make 14 posts a day. Its the only thing you have in your life!! I can't stop laughing thinking of what a loser you must be in person. Nice logo you have next to your name......that weird crap alone speaks volumes for what kind of freak you must really be.
  13. Keep those posts coming loser. Your closing in on 22,000. What a life? Infatuation?? No, that would be someone who keeps and (or) takes the time to look up old posts that were made with each other. You failed to mention though how your wise ass comments from 02 on a regular post made by me iniated things. Why don't you look that stuff up on your little keep sake board and print it so everyone can see who the real punk is. By the way, based on your history.............I guess you have achieved all your goals in life by becoming a message board moderator. Too bad you suck at it! Must be terrible when that is all you have going for you in your life.......oh I almost forgot................you have THE TANK cable lady for a girlfriend.
  14. I could posts all day every day for the next year and I couldn't catch up to Alaska Nerd.........................nor would I want to. Thats his little Fantasy World!!
  15. You'll be up to 22,000 posts in no time. What a life!!
  16. Seattle has always had one of the best offensive lines in the league since Alexander's arrival. Look it up and get back to me kid.
  17. Hey Blimp, I've been a member since 02 so take your newbie and STFU comments and get back to your trailer park and work on your New Years Resolution...............................DIETING!
  18. 21,870 posts while his goal is to get his average up to 14 per day. 14 per day over the course of one's life! Now THAT is one stupid LOWLIFE with nothing else going on in his life. Is that some sort of record....................21,870 posts??? I'm can't stop laughing over here just thinking of what a loser you must be.
  19. 21,868 posts and almost 14 per day. NOW THATS A LIFE!!!
  20. No other teams don't stack the line of scrimmage against Barber, LT, and Alexander because they all have good OL's and a passing game to go with it. In the case of Alexander and James, they are in such a good offensive system with regards to OL and passing, even if teams did stack the line of scrimmage, those two would get their yards and move the chains. Although McGahee is not quite in the class of Barber, James, LT, and Alexander, you can't compare McGahee with those other backs..............too many other factors involved to make things uneven.
  21. Oh, you have the time.................based on how many posts you make per day..............you of all people have the time. I don't know of anyone who has as much free time on his hands to make so many posts.
  22. I agree with alot of what you said but your still failing to see WHY James and Alexander have put up such huge numbers. They BOTH have arguably the two best offensive lines in the league with two top tier QB's to stretch the field. You don't think McGahee is worth an extra 300 or so yards with an improved OL and a passing game??? You really think Alexander and James would put up the same kind of stats in our horrible offense? Yes Alexander and James are much better backs then McGahee but considering with what McGahee has had to deal with for two years, he has done quite well. His stats would be in the top 5 in the Colts/Seahawks offense and you know it. A potential top 5 back with a easily managable salary is not such a big stretch for a team like the Texans and although your right getting Bush will probably take more then just McGahee and a 3rd rounder, I would still explore the possibilities of what it would take to get him and unload McGahee in the process before we have to start dealing with Rosenhaus looking to renegoiate. As far as Sirius NFL radio goes, if you don't have it, you really should. Non stop football talk with continuous interviews from coaches, players, Madden, etc.... and the Mularkey interview every Friday at 4:00pm has been great all year.
  23. Your missing one key point.................nobody could AFFORD James and Alexander with their current salary and their price tag was only going to get higher since they're both in a contract year............nice try though on that one. Try doing your research next time before you talk or at least better yet......go out and get a Sirius satelitte radio for a belated Xmas gift and tune into the NFL channel 124 so you can get some inside scoop on what your missing. They had daily talk about that whole Alexander and James fiasco during last years draft and those two were just way out of everyone's price range at the time. Yes, Davis is a proven back but the only concern with Davis is he can be injury prone. Do I think the Texans will pull a trigger on a McGahee plus draft pick(s) deal? Probably not, but is it somewhat realistic with all things considered.........possibly? It only takes ONE GM to think that way, regardless of what everyone else thinks.
