The frustrating part to the 2 losses against the Jets and the Vikings is that all he had to do was not make the throw at all and they win both games. It's very hard to figure out from a fan's perspective as we don't know what he is looking at...

his competitiveness has become a bit of an Achilles heel.  He’s matured in a lot of ways, but as it stands today his next maturation point is not forcing things that don’t need to be forced.

    1. Slide instead of doing the acrobatic whirling pretzel routine- there is a place for that, but it happens far to often for my liking.  His ability to run is a big advantage, but it’s also a potential season ender.

    2. you’re an elite QB, with an elite roster when healthy- throw the ball away, there will be other opportunities.  We lose games because we try to win with swagger.  Stop doing that *****.  Remember, we still get 3 points on 4th down if we don’t throw it to the other team.  Those add up.

Us abandoning the run game is absolutely blowing my mind.  Motor is running extremely well, why do we try to fix what isn't really broken.  These second half meltdowns has me concerned.  I'm still a believer in Dorsey, but he needs to expand his options.  We have playmakers outside of Allen and Diggs.  For the love of God, please get Shakir and Hines involved more.

the wounds are all self inflicted.  while I agree you put the ball into the hands of your best player, JA, it’s okay to let other guys take some of the burden, and not every drive has to be a score or a TD.

Easy stuff to fix, if the staff doesn’t have their heads up their asses.

  3. 10 years ago we wondered if we would EVER see the playoffs let alone a playoff win again

as it stands now, we’ve been in the playoffs 4 straight seasons, been to an ACFCG, and we’re a seconds away from another against the “Elite” teams of that last 5-7 years.

were 6-3 and hold our destiny in our hands.

Clean ups few things and get healthier, and this team is Championship worthy.

Yes, the team is still stacked with talent, but so are the Chiefs.  After beating the defending Súper bowl champs, Tennessee, and KC, we had ourselves in prime position to be the #1 seed.  If we fail to get it, and we lose a road playoff game, we can say that this game ruined our season.

We’ll be thinking about this loss and the season-long repercussions for the next 3 months.  Going for a walk and having a beer won’t stop that

you’re a pretender until you prove otherwise…. may have to beat the Chiefs, in Arrowhead.

    I like our chances

Well I hope this plays out with Minnie taking the NFC to have a showdown of the 2 teams who have lost 4 sb with 0 wins.  The rematch would have do many storylines.

That’s a potential final game matchup- healthier, we win that game 9/10.

now the pressure is off a little, and this team can get back to getting players back and playing their best ball.

excellent lanscape lays ahead, there for the taking.  If we don’t, that’s on us.

  6. Enjoyed every moment of that, i

think I had 4 mini strokes… lol… meh, Josh stop forcing things.  Glad he played, just enjoy watching him.

get healthy, win the East.  Head into the best football when it matters most.

We can win some of these games down the stretch with mostly defense if we get poyer/Milano/tre back.  The offense is going to struggle if the offensive line play doesn’t improve though no matter who the qb is

they will have to run the ball and have guys step up in the intermediate passing game… the field without Allen is more compact, so it comes down to precision and execution.  Keenum can run that offense.

don’t get me wrong, this team will ride the Defense if Allen misses time…

So we have an offensive weapon similar to Derrick Henry then?

I mean do you completely have zero recollection of the drought? With Keenum this team sinks.

with Keenum, this team won’t get away with a lot of sloppy play or mistakes.   This is a talented roster that will have to tighten up their play if he starts….

    but they don’t stink…

If Keenum plays I think it will help the Bills get them out of their funk. This team relies on Josh to do everything and sometimes to a fault. With Keenum the rest of the team knows they will have to pick it up. A vet QB like Keenum is good enough to get wins if Josh misses some time. This isn't a TEN situation where they give Henry the ball a 100 times a game because they have no passing game. Keenum can be a productive QB.

keenum will make us remember the intermediate passing game and taking what a defense gives you.  this may also prove helpful if the weather is crumby in a playoff game, whether that game is in OP or on the road.  Time to break the tendency to rely big play football all the time….

It doesn't guarantee anything, but it does make it easier. Also, with McDermott the Bills are 0-4 on the road in the playoffs. Jac, Hou, KC x 2. They are 3-0 at home in the playoffs. Indy, Bal, NE. The Bills really do seem to feed off the energy of the home crowd. Besides I don't want to see Buffalo travel to KC for what seems like the 100th straight time.

I don’t think I can take a road playoff loss in KC again.  It might break me.  😂

that being said, have to take business at home in this Division, and I really like chances of that happening.

but it’s time to tighten up and play smart… no more beating ourselves in winnable games, champions don’t do that.

  11. Meh, they weren’t gonna win every game.  Yesterday will probably be the game, when we look back, that cost us the playoffs coming through Buffalo, unless we really clean up our act and start playing smart again.  I’d venture to guess the gauntlet with be through Arrowhead again.

i just had a feeling we’d lose that game…. Hoped not, but here we are.

  12. The Broncos are where the Bills were 10-12 years ago…. Chest deep in folly, and making dumb decisions.  They’re almost mirror image of the Bills with 15 straight losses to a division opponent, since I doubt they beat the Chiefs any time soon.

The Broncos needed stability, they should have called Gary Kubiak and begged him to come back.  3 first time head coaches with 2 on the payroll for a few more years.

I knew when the Hackett didn’t play the starters all preseason with a brand new QB he was still incompetent.

    I don’t know much about collegiate football…

but why don’t these guys who are draft position worthy, find someone to work on their mechanics in college?   Josh’s family didn’t seem poor, and given he was a dynamo in high school…

why did his issues persist so long?

    Always seems weird to me.

  14. I know we take gigantic dumps on each over on The Huddle, but this was a classy post…

maybe I’ll have to reconsider your presence there… Zero is one of my favorite posters, maybe Chiefs fans aren’t a disease afterall.. 😂

    It’s a privilege to watch Allen/ Mahommes…. pure crack for a football fan…
