  1. Obviously the didn't want Worthy - speed does not necessarily equal good production (Santana Moss is the ONLY first round sub 4.e receiver in the history of the NFL to have a 1,000 yard season- Remember John Ross).

Obviously they didn't want Leggette.  There is no doubt that before the second trade they knew who the pick was going to be, or they wouldn't have made the trade.

After the big 3 wrs there are plenty of guys with similar talent (McConkey, Polk come to mind).

DeJean is sitting there, round 1 talent without a doubt!  Jer'Zhan Newton would also be an outstanding pick.  Adonai Mitchell (who was the pick in the majority of mocks is still there).

The Bills are in the poll position with 31 teams calling to get #33. DON'T be surprised if there is another trade back, if so, it would likely be less than 5 positions.

Also remember, that the Bills increase there cap space by 10 million in a month, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was a deal in place for one of SF veteran recievers.

Bottom line is there is a long way to go to complete this rooster.  Don't panic.  There is a plan.  Bean deserves the benefit of a the doubt.

  2. Not really sure what this is all about.  To me he sounded defeated.

I still don't understand his contract extension - he was under contract and there was no reason to redo it to the extent that they did.

My guess is that he either 1) turned into a cancer, or 2) his talent dropped off so much that they moved him to avoid longer term consequences.

The timing of this is the strange part.  It could have been done sooner to get a shot at a Keenan Allen or Mike Williams.

Something really strange happened very quickly.  Odd

  3. Never apologize for a win.  This is a week to week league.  Was it inspiring- no.  Was it good football- no.  But its a win.  Remember, the undefeated Eagles lost to the Jets.  The PJ (whatever his name is) led Browns beat the 49ers.  Take the win and move on.   Are there issues, yes.  But it's a win.

  4. This is Josh Allen.  He will NEVER change.  This is year 6.  He is still running recklessly, making throws down field that are merely expressions of hope, and not trusting his oline.  The more I see the more I am coming to the understanding that the oline is not as bad as we think, but that Josh runs around before he needs to making it impossible for the linemen to keep their blocks.  People don't change.  Athletes do not change after 6 years in the pros.

For better or worse he is ours.  Still a top tier qb and better than anything we have had since Jim Kelly.  A new OC will not help.  You can't control this guy, we just have to live with it.

  5. Would love to have him back, but you cannot pay them all.  If we learned anything it's that more resources (draft picks and free agents) need to be allocated to offense, particularly the O-line and receivers.  If someone is willing to pay a non-pass rushing linebacker more that 14 mil a year, let them!

  6. This team is in no place to play football until they find out what is going to happen to their brother.  If he is OK they will play hard.  If not, who knows.

I say leave it to the players and let the players speak through the captains.  If they have no news or are burying there brother for forfeit Sunday, let them grieve with the rest of the community and come back to football the following week if they so choose.

There is no fair in this.  There is only class and character.  I think the right thing to do is to forfeit the game.  It really is meaningless to these guys.  Cincy was the epitome of class last night.  The coach, organization, fans and community.  Not putting them in a worse position would show sportsmanship back.

  7. If he can go, let him go. I think shelfing him to avoid risk is not the right way to go.  The AFC is highly competitive and if we are indeed all in, we need to take risk.  I have zero confidence in our back up qb.  If Josh sits 2 weeks, we are likely going to lose 2 games.  Then we are in a dog race for a wild card and some road playoff games.  We have waited long enough.  Time to take the risks - every super bowl team needs to accept risk to get the reward.

Same with Tre' - if we are truly all in, then we need to be all in!

I dont say this as a knock or to bismerch him in any way, but some well-connected, well-sourced folks are saying the scene would indicate OD. From that, I assume it is the now all too common coke/painkillers laced with fentanyl.

Fair enough, I'm not trying to rumor monger. Just reacting to info being put out, even when that info is very unofficial.

Unfortunately, you are looking like you are right.  My apologies.

  9. I remember watching him run the gauntlet at the combine and was like "who is this guy", smooth catcher reminded me of how Cooper Kupp was at the combine.  I know small sample size, but just what I remember.  After that I watched his tape and thought that this kid is going to be good.  We'll see.  Fun pick.

Those great Bills fans who think they’re the best in the NFL and put a billboard near our stadium can’t even spend $50 to go to a playoff game against their mortal enemies… har har har.

    Thats essentially the summary.

Happening on the Pats forum too.

Not sure if it’s allowed but it happens all the time.

Thanks Einstein-  the web site doesn’t say no- I usually park in a non stadium lot and didn’t pay it no never mind while walking in
