    So back in 7-8 weeks?

    @ Rams - Loss

    Saints - Win

    Texans - Win

    @Patriots - Win/Loss

    BYE

    Jaguars - Win

    Window to return

    @Steelers

    49ers

So Titans looking at 10-3 when he gets back.

Not ideal for them but he should be ready for January.

"Back" doesn't mean "back to full strength" IMO

No King Henry will impact those money play action plays to AJ Brown.

Titans losing him is as impactful as us losing Josh Allen.

    11-7 - still a playoff team though

  2. Saquan Barkley would be insane

    OBJ would be fun

but my mother of all home run trades would be for Adam Thielen. The Vikings are done and his agent sent out a cryptic text tonight that one of his clients on the Vikings was not happy. Reunite him and Diggs and let's just air it out.

ADVERSITY: : a state or instance of serious or continued difficulty or misfortune.

When looking at the debate over long term and sustainable success in regards to Mahomes vs Allen - the one thing I circle back to is the concept of adversity and grit.

During his time in the league, Mahomes has already accomplished things other players would be happy to achieve over the course of their entire careers. He has already won a Super Bowl, a league MVP and a Super Bowl MVP, while dropping jaws and setting all kinds of records along the way. Here's the thing though: He took over for Alex Smith after the Chiefs made the playoffs 3 years in a row, and had a solid team and was already surrounded by tons of talent.

Josh Allen however was thrown into a pure dumpster fire in his first game as a pro after Peterman threw 5 picks in the first half. We lost 47-3 that day and he had to throw to guys like Kelvin Benjamin, who put in close to zero effort to helping Josh or the team. It was the beginning of the roster reset in Buffalo and Allen was along for every bump along the road.

FAST FORWARD TO TODAY: the Chiefs are starting to struggle, and Mahomes is pressing to try and make something happen for his team. "Sugar high Pat"? Nah, the media would never say such a thing. However, now we get to see how he responds to having to deal with adversity through a struggling defense, and tougher division.

Is Mahomes a solid QB? YES. Absolutely.

However, is Josh Allen? YOU BET.

Long term QB? Give me Josh Allen all day. I cannot even fathom the type of plays he would do week in and week out with leading a team that's firing on all cylinders like KC has been for the past 5 years.

lets not forget that there were only three weeks to win it this year so far, so the list is likely to expand. I’m sure Lamar will win it at least once. Maybe Derek carr qualifies from previous years. Tureen Hill also comes to kind.

Lamar can't make the 4 time list because he didn't win his rookie year.

Carr and Hill also didn't win in each of the last 3 years

    CRAZY STAT:

Only 3 players have won this award in each of the last 4 years...

    1) Josh Allen

    2) Derrick Henry

    3) Pat Mahomes

I know there are two extreme sides of the spectrum with this award: the first camp being the "these fluff awards don't matter, I want Super Bowls" compared to the "Weekly awards = potential MVP's... LETS GO!".

However, during a FOUR YEAR SPAN it is pretty amazing that only three players have won it, and each player on that list is a franchise level and generational talent.

For me, this award makes me feel less worried that last year was a fluke and gets me genuinely pumped that every Sunday we have a QB that can potentially be the top offensive player in our division each week. It's been a looooong time for some of us, so regardless of our stance on the credibility of the award, hopefully it's something that can bring our fan base together. GO BILLS!

    EDIT:

the verbiage is a bit confusing and took me awhile to understand also, so here is the simplest way to put it...

In 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 the only players who have won the weekly award in EACH OF THOSE FOUR YEARS is Josh Allen, Derrick Henry and Pat Mahomes.
