  1. Kyle Orton? Seriously? Orton?

C'mon Man. I get that you don't like Fitz, but that's going a yard too far.

Orton crushed it last year w Brandon Lloyd.....Denver's d was brutal ..... So yea Orton over Fitz all day... Sign me up... And yes I do think Fitz is terrible 60% of the time

Any team can have a bad game, or two bad games. I think the point is we lost so many starters we never turned around from them.

I'm not sure it's the correct reason, overall. I'd like to believe that it is.

I'm concerned that lack of preparation, poor coaching, and poor personnel decisions played significant roles.

Put another way, I'm not sure we know what it takes to win all season and I'm not sure there's anyone in the organization who is able to show us how it's done

    This.

This too. I don't know why I bother to post sometimes I could just let SJBF speak 4 me.

  2. you don't pay #2 WR's that kind of money, esp those who have the attitude and drops that he has. Put a transition tag on him (New CBA Gave us it back I believe?) and look for some real talent or get him to accept a #2 WR paycheck

Attitude? The one where he wants to be a Bill ? The one where he plays hurt? Google Stevie Johnson UK youtube video............The guy's a winner and makes people around him better.......What attitude does he have? Married guy does all the right things ?

Did he not tip you well at Moe's or something ? Whats the deal with the Stevie agenda Toshi.......every post same thing....

  3. I know Stevie has had three (at least) high profile drops the past two years, but according to the Washington Post, he's not in the top 32 of the league for drops this season. I guess it's not that surprising given how many short and intermediate routes he runs.

Then again, he has been targeted 127 times and has 72 catches, so that doesn't seem so good.

one word anwer FITZ............haa... You try catchin a ball from that erratic slinger...

  4. I would say we have some nice pieces for sure. Love FJ,SJ,CJ,Dareus, Nelson, Barnett, Sheppard, All of the secondary (including McKelvin).

Mr Fitzpatrick unfortunately has the ability to ruin all of this.......Prove me wrong Fitz...I have seen a few good moments but a ton of bad ones...

So I would have to say except for the QB issue we are headed in the right direction.....A play for Kyle Orton or some other average veteran is the move until we can draft or find a good one....Fitz I love ya man....but I just do not see the starting qb tag on ya....

  5. The only thing that stands out is nix didn't draft him. He pre-dates this regime.

I also think 7.5 is fair, not a bargain. I've been leaning 5 for 35ish which is pretty in line

I spend my money on my Bills jerseys, Caps, all sorts of other dumb things......All of this $$$$$$$ ends up in RW's pockets.....I could care less if we paid him 7mil or 300 mil.....its not my money baaaaaa--beeee....not sure why some of you care about the deal so much.......if it doesn't cripple Buff's ability to sign a little other talent let's stroke that check and move on..... GO BILLS! next year :o again... ha

  6. The two sides were reportedly $2 million apart early in the season, though the Bills never made an official offer to Johnson. Talks were re-opened after Ryan Fitzpatrick's deal in late October, but the sides didn't get any closer. The Bills have not mentioned the possibility of the franchise tag during negotiations. Johnson's agent insists the receiver is "more than willing to do a discounted deal with the Bills because of his loyalty to the organization" and his "love for the city of Buffalo." Source: WGR 550 Buffalo

What a deal.....$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ship that cash......

  7. Just my opinion, I think Fitz came into training camp with a lot more zip on his throws. He'd clearly pumped up during the off-season. But he still didn't look like a top QB - they aren't cut but when you look at their arms, it's all muscle and tendons.

I would like to see Fitzy take some of his money and invest in a top quality physical trainer to work with during the off-season and a top QB trainer to work on his mechanics, especially when he is throwing off-balance.

(Who does Rodgers work with? His throwing mechanics have clearly improved)

I had heard that Brady wasn't as strong when he came into the league and he worked his butt off to build the arm strength he needed. It can be done. Not saying Fitz could become Brady but he could become better.

The other thing is Fitz needs to figure out a program to stay stronger *during* the season. It has to be tough to get in the weight training between practices and meetings and resting dings, but somehow get it done.

These things should have happened years ago...I am afraid it is a little late for Fitz to "mold" himself into a decent QB....For all these "Step into the throw" posters just stop it....Fitz has a terrible arm, and is not good enough to be a quality starter.....it is what it is.....let's move on to the next one....

  8. Toshiero I gotta call you out here.......You obviosly think Stevie is waiver wire material where I feel the guy is a #1..............Do you watch the Buffalo Bills play football? Who is the guy with the #13 jersey who leads our team in recieving every year? Pay attention man........Are you jonesin for more Nelson, Jones, Easley action ? Is there

So I gotta ask ya Toshi......are there any Bills you do approve of? I just watched Dareus on SoundFX he's pretty good right?

  9. Stats on drops is too subjective. What constitutes a drop is in the eye of the stat taker. On the other hand, when a guy drops the game winner that hits him in the hands in full stride in 2 games, it may not show up on someone's stat sheet, but it is HUGE.

I'm not sure we need losers like this on our team. We're trying to end the culture of figuring out new ways to lose games.

IMO your dead wrong here.....Replace Stevie with anyone else, Bills win 2 games next year. He gets open none of our other guys do....Drop your Stevie agenda and realize he is making plays....Pitt game drop = 1 big drop......Where was the 2nd? When Fitz missed him by a million yards those 30 other times? Come on bud.....quit hating on the one guy who cares and plays hard.....IMO dead wrong...

  10. If this is the case then I just want to root for our team to win.

The 10 - 11 pick will net us either Upshaw or Kirpatrick the CB......and both are a definate need.....we have no shot at a QB or one of the top 2 WRs as it stands so winning does not hurt us.

We do not need CB's.....we need a little pressure and then our CB's would be lights out......WR DE LB's all day......and of course the almighty QB position......pretty much anyone you can pick can outthrow the great Fitz...

  11. I for one am a million times all in for Mallett over Fitz.............If mike vrabel and a 34th pick got it done last time, then i say any of our lb's (except Shepp or Barnett) and 2nd round pick for Mallett would be awesome........Of course the bills could have just drafted Mallett last year but that would have made too much sense.......

  12. On WGR Jerry Sullivan spoke of the term "regressing to the mean." Basically it's a math term and what it means is that that if there is one extreme measurement, the second time the measurement would be closer to the average (mean).

This is definitely the case with Fitz. In the past 7 week losing skid, our "franchise" QB has looked like the same backup that's been throwing sloppy and inaccurate passes over the past three years. He has looked good at times but his play would indicate that he is a mediocre QB. Sure, he played well for a few games but as the "regression" states, he eventually regressed back to his average self. What this means for us Bills fans? Don't expect to see the Fitzpatrick that out-dueled Tom Brady earlier this season next year -- expect more of the same. A weak armed, inaccurate QB who likely won't be able to win much more than 8 games.

Hate to say it YOU ARE DEAD ON SIR  ......Too bad RW can't see whats going on and loves the guy....I love him 2...but as a backup....Top tier backup qb...
