  1. I was just listening to "Movin' the Chains" on Sirius and they couldn't believe that Baltimore gave up 3 draft picks for Willis, especially when the Jets were able to acquire Thomas Jones for "essentially a 3rd round pick"

I love the move and the offseason has been very good so far.

  2. if it is true it is interesting, but Dillon would be put in a similar position as last year when he split time with Maroney...because you know the Bills will draft a first day RB.

At least we know Dillon can get the ball in the endzone.

  3. Let them have Moss...This guy was on his way to STATISTICALLY being one of the greatest WR of all time. BUT he is now an overrated, injury prone, aging WR. The guy is extremely one dimensional and constantly takes plays off. He would never beat the Cover 2 defense let alone just about any other. Hopefully, he does get traded there because he will destroy that team.

  4. The first thing it would take is consensus with Marv and the coaching staff as to whether this dude is a viable candidate as starter or a backup/change of pace RB. If they believe the former, they wait til after at least their 2nd round choice on draft day and then talk trade. If they believe the later, then why bother wasting a phone call?

If Michael Turner were an unrestricted free agent about 15-20 team would be banging down the door to get him as a starter. This guy more like a Shaun Alexander, Ahman Green, Larry Johnson type that had to sit behind an All Pro until he got a chance to play on a regular basis. No way does this guy go to a team to be a backup.

  5. The Browns take brady quinn...adrian peterson drops.

we trade Takeo Spikes and our 1st rd to the texans and take peterson. gg

I am well aware of his injury history, and it does scare me, but he is one of the most talented players I have EVER seen. worht the risk imo.

Does Spikes really have ANY trade value...especially with his contract. I got a feeling he will end up being cut.

  6. Okoye would look good in a Bills uniform, but no way do they trade down to take a center. All indications are that the Bills like Fowler at C.

Also, Willis would NOT be a reach. Both the Rams and Carolina would love to have a shot at him. Most mock drafts have Willis going somewhere between 12-14 and many "experts" besides Mel Kiper of course say that Willis is the best MLB prospect since Vilma.

  7. A lot will depend on free agency. Usually, a team will go into the draft with all positions filled and then draft the best available player. Even last season when 2 safeties were drafted, the Bills had acquired Matt Bowen prior to that.

I think we will see the Bills actively pursue LBs, DTs, CBs, and OG's in Free Agency. If they acquire bodies at those positions then Dwayne Jarrett or Marshawn Lynch could be taken at #12.

  8. I sincerly hope that this years first round pick is a very boring OL or DT....

This is an area that has been sorely neglected......Okoye would be just fine with me

No way an OL is taken in the first round. Maybe a DT if a free agent isn't signed to massively upgrade Tim Anderson's spot. I got a feeling that Ian Scott will be pursued.

  9. I love draft guesses and we can see many players in a Bills uniform but I think the last time the majority of us nailed the Bills 1st round pick it was Mike Williams...I don't even think we can make educated guess until after the initial free agency period.

With that said, I personally think the Bills will go DT or CB with the 1st pick unless a superstar RB/WR falls into the Bills lap.

  10. Whitner was 2nd on the team in tackles with 114 and will make every all-rookie team out there. Hardly a bust. Also, they could have taken a safety later in the draft---oh wait they did--Ko Simpson--now they are set at safety for many, many years.

  11. [New York: After getting onside kick, can’t even adequately throw a screen pass to McGahee and the drive dies quickly without even sniffing a chance at the end zone.

Were you at that game? When they recovered the onside kick, the skies literally opened up and the winds were blowing twice as hard as they were earlier in the game. He couldn't throw an adequate screen pass because the wind was blowing so damn hard. They probably should have burned a timeout and hoped that it passed over. (I think the hard rain stopped about 5 minutes later so it wouldn't have mattered anyway.)

I think the Detroit game was his best chance to lead the Bills back but with the Defense playing the way they did, they should have gone for it on 4th and 9 instead of punting.

  12. Oh, don't worry, there still is plenty to B word about:

    1) QB "controversy" probably means all 3 QBs suck

    2) Kevin Everett is a bust

    3) the o-line still sucks

    4) the d-line still sucks

    5) Marv has fallen, and he can't get up!

    6) Bruschi

    etc.

    736185[/snapback]

Don't forget: This team gets no respect from national media or why does King, Clayton, anyone on nfl network diss our poor team.

oh btw...now I don't have to jump off that cliff now that Donte is in the fold.

  13. The bottom line is that Moulds does NOT want to play here anymore....why,why,why would anyone want to keep him. The Bills are playing it smart and look to get compensation. Any compensation would be good...hopefully a 3rd rounder, but to say this guy is a stud anymore is going WAY overboard. On Houston he would clearly be the #2 possession type receiver similar to Keyshawn in Carolina.

  14. Vince Young is a very interesting prospect who has a shot at being an absolute superstar. If the Bills don't gamble on him (assuming he actually drops that far), they could trade down for a team that may want him.

I agree that based on Levy's comments though, they would not draft Young. However, if they did draft Young, he could sit at 3rd string for a year a la McNair and then hopefully be ready for next year.

  15. Who knows what the Bills will get in Free Agency...they obviously have many needs to fill, but for someone to pin their hopes on Kevin Everett as a stud TE is ludicrous. He is coming off an ACL injury and was a project to begin with.

I hope he turns out to be a stud, but Vernon Davis' talent is too hard to ignore. If he is there he has to be considered.
